the beginning of the book was interesting, but the writing quality and the plot line kept on detoriating as the story progressed. the characters are super cliche and cringey and have a mary sue aura which makes them unrelatable.
I am not a huge fan of slow burn but the author decided to cut the chase and and married of the characters after the time skip!!??
and it was just so annoying.

just one word for this "GREAT" I like all the moments especially when Yan Shu acts childishly I mean Com'on who could relate the Devil Queen with a girl who loves to throw tantrums and acts childishly and love all those scenes it's quite refreshing.

For me...it was only one-sided relationship type...female lead did not made sense...again the typical good love rivals of ML while scheming and evils for FL...FL is very op too powerful and ML is nerfed or situation makes it so that she can outshine which I don't have any problem with but...then people blames ML that why he did not protect her?...interactions between ML and FL are very less...it looks like FL accepted ML just because he pestered her so much...You can like it if you want an op FL and bashing all the people...manipulating the ML himself...the blackmailing one like the one who uses 'jealousy' to get what they want like going with other men and other things to induce it...

I really enjoyed the complex characters and their very in-depth history that the writer provides. This novel contains different parts and the first part is completely free to read which really lets you get into this world before you have to invest in the novel. The first part is really just the prologue and the story really takes off after that.
I recommend everyone who enjoys strong female leads to give this novel a shot you really don't have anything to loose since free chapters give you a complete story that has a defined beginning, middle, and end.

I’m really enjoying this story 👍🏽. Loving how the Female lead is strong from the beginning and doesn’t get drugged and raped. The Male lead is so weak with his woman,but a beast with everyone else 🤷🏽.

The idea of the story seems very nice and i really want to keep reading to see if anything happends.
