Seems like Greg dont really love her,, more like just obsessed with her. He actually want her to be his side not even caring about her feeling. He supposed to be happy when he knew that she is living just fine, instead he put pressure on his siblings about his need to meet her and be with him until his passing. Did he actually expect her to live in sadness the moment he died, thats just selfish. If he only want to meet him once to have a clear cut of their relationship, that would be okay, but if he want her to take care of him until he dies, then its not okay.
