Amazing book. Different in it's development. The story will take you on an interesting ride.
The repetitive sub plots as well too many side characters popping up regularly makes the story cumbersome
has there been an update on a follow-up novel or not? it has a good ending for what it led to, but it feels leading, like we should expect a continuation for the next segment of challenges

MC is emotionally stunted and never grows as a person. He won’t even verbally defend himself. Don’t read this.
The whole novel he is in the stupid useless university. MC has no ambition nor any selfishness. He is so passive in everything that plot just happens to force him to do things he shouldve decided to do on his own. He cares about irrelevant people, especially his old school principal who is nothing to the mc yet he risks his life to find him. His mother in law has so much irrational love for the mc when they are basically strangers. His brother and sister in law are annoying. MC shares all his discoveries and secrets with his useless friends for some reason.
Mc is very likeable, the power system is just gorgeous, the side characters are almost perfect, world background is beautifully written and the plot isn’t out of this world, but it’s good and with everything else being amazing, you’ve got to just love this novel. One of my favourite novels. If only there were lots of novels as good as this, I’d be too happy😂😂
True, the title of this novel is not the most engaging one, but its good place in the ranking of both Novelupdates and Webnovel, as well as the first chapter of the manhua adaptation made me give it a go. So, was I well inspired ? The protagonist, Zhou Wen, appears at first as a gaming obsessed loner, he really is an intelligent, pragmatic and focused character. In fact, his ability to absolutely focused on a task or event is his main advantage. He also has a low emotional quotient, which leads to many comedic situations, especially in his relations with women (there is no romance, but most attempts on him are really funny). He also is something of an anti-hero at time, as shown with his mercilessness toward his foes. Overall, a very good main character. But he is not the only one, as most other characters are as well made as him. Whether they are allies (like Li Xuan), his foes, his mentor or others, they have their own traits, merits, flaws and goals. Those are important as part of the plot for the relations between some of these people with the MC can be fluid, depending if their aims (both over and/or hidden align with those of the protagonist). Speaking of the plot, this and the setting are the best points of the novel. What seems at first to be a story of academy life in a world of mixed martial arts cultivation and pokemon training is in fact a tale of conspiracies, power -play, rife with both epic fights and rich intrigue (even the epilogue has its surprises). Add to this the facts that there are few scenes of pure power suppression (most foes have weaknesses the MC can cleverly exploit) and that the special gaming phone Zhou Wen uses for power-up is both powerful but also has severe limitations, and you have an excellent story that will keep you on edge until the slightly rushed but fine and open ending (if you want a comparison, it’s not Lord of the Mysteries, it’s the level right below). The power system, while simplistic at first, is quite good, moreover the protagonist progression is not exactly the normal one. The translation is excellent, no mistake, typos of mistranslations I can remember of, as usual for CKTalon My final verdict for Let Me Game in Peace is a 9 out of 10. It’s one of the best novel available on Webnovel, I can only recommend it. P.S: Thanks to Twelve-Winged Dark Seraphim for writing this story and to CKTalon for translating it.

The world building is unique at that time and no need to tell anything about the character development, at the start the characters don't feel great but as the story progresses the characters pull you in, especially his friend, his disciples, his father, step(if u know u know) mother and step(if u know u know) brother. Very well written but left us on a cliff hanger

Fantastic book - no real romance (even less than super gene) with a hyper focused male lead who is a little bad at emotions in general but is for the most part a “good” person who is honest and helps others if it’s not dangerous for him. Most of the conflicts are very logical, due to competition for resources and power. If you like super gene it’s very similar even the ending… with a lot of open questions at the end… which is a bummer.
Great story and interesting development. A continuation is needed or a sequel.
i have decided to drop this novel at chapter 189 the world building is too shallow plot coincidences are not explained properly and used however loopholes not covered properly the traits of the mc are questionable
this story is gold I love everything about it even how it sets up for another book to continue the MCs story and god I hope you do. please don't do a book about a different MC in the same verse we just want to see this MCs path

Enjoyable enough for me to read till the end. Disappointed with the ending chapters cause I feel like it could have gone for a couple more with explanations.
The MC is annoying and extreamly stupid, he doesn't wish to do a single thing, even the important stuff that needs to be done. His whole thought process feels like the thoughts of a child with mental illness. I enjoyed this novel at the start but then slowly i started to get annoyed by the mc fom the 100th chapter...
If you don't read this,then your a fool!! Absolutely amazing book!!! I so dearly hope and pray for book 2!!!!!!!!!!!
Read through all 1905 chapters and can definitely recommend. great story, translation quality, and world building.
I loved super gene to the point that I've read it 3 times so far and am currently reading again. I'm not gonna lie I ignored this book when it first started in order to give another story a shot and I regret it so far this story has been just as grabbing as super gene. thank you for your continued work.
