This is worth the hours of reading
It's consistent and I didn't notice plot holes any where.
The MC isn't OP, actually grinds and the author seems to understand human nature so there's no gongzi jumping out randomly and getting their face slapped.
No massacre of clans or whole people's/species.
No wanting to lord over others because you got a system and suddenly faced the prospect of being OP.
Walked to the end of it.
What a journey.
I definitely recommend this and WILL read any other work from this author.
Like Super Gene, it's a long novel that begins to drag until you stop reading before going back months later to try reading again, only to remember why you dropped it and repeat the cycle.
not a very fun read, a lot of filler chapters to make our MC struggle with things his so called intellect and overwhelming powers should deal with in a paragraph but requires 25 chapters
This is an honest review and I can say it is good it's worth the read. Early story is like western novels with powers and stuffs but mid story to end is very good there's no useless characters and the understandable things at early to mid story will get perfectly explained in end story without it getting the feeling of being forced. so all in all it is one of the good novels I read.
overall I enjoyed this novel my only problem is in the end it left far more questions and threw away everything we already knew. unless there is a plan to make a sequel it feels very rushed and ends with a non ending.
I really love this fanfic. First CP free novel, I red to the end. I will miss all the characters especially Linfeng. The ending surprised me a little but it's quite fitting. Tk author for this wonderful journey.
Complete Review. spoiler free.
It's a good story. The story is action packed and fast paced, so you won't get any boring moments. There are many twists and turns (I would say way too many), which keeps the story exciting at all times. The Protagonists is kind of pacifist, not a bloodthirsty xianxia protagonist we usually get. Main reason is his cheat, which means he doesn't have to initiate fight to get stronger for resources or something. There are no dumb side characters, they don't get much character development but they don't fall flat either. Every new character gets a decent intro and their own roles in the story. And because of the Dimensional Zones, the author gives us all kind of wacky situations and ideas. This I think is one of the strength of the story, the author has created a framework where he can add any crazy idea and it would make sense in the story. Unlike other xianxia, here a higher Cultivation doesn't mean you can't be beaten, even those at the top can be killed in a random Dimensional Zone or defeated by some unique set of abilities by some weaker person.
MC gets way too many lucky chances. He gets unique Abilities, powerful Companions Beasts all the time, but it doesn't make the story less exciting. The ending resolves nearly all of the plot threads. But it is still an open ending, maybe there will be a sequel story for this someday. Could be interesting, but I think I like this as a standalone story more.
If I had to say something that I find lacking, I would say a lack of POVs from another characters, or atleast more about their plans or even what they are doing. The story mostly focuses on MC itself, so everytime we get something new it surprises the MC and the Reader. This is intersting, for most of the situation. but not when our side character suddenly show a new ability out of nowhere or know something they shouldn't. And this is fine when it happens lets say 2 out of 10 times, but here it's most of the time, side characters or antagonists will suddenly show us something new out of nowhere. It doesn't distract from the story but I still find it annoying.
Overall it's a 8/10 novel for me. Not the best I have ever read but definitely something I can recommend to others.
Read completely finished. One of the best stories, donโt let those fools who only read up to 100 chapters fool you. In the end you will understand why everyone acts that wya because MC is not the only character in the story, everyone also has an aspiration and just because mc doesnt always get his way dont make this a bad story. it makes it more complex
Everything makes sense in the end. worthwhile to tead.
Complete review
Short synopsis:
MC finds a phone that can download the dungeons from his world to game on and gain information. Also he can use the companion beasts that drop there in RL. (cultivation, companion beasts, maybe a bit game element, MC is very strong and lucky but I wouldn't concider him OP)
I can't believe it's already that long ago since I started reading this novel. Now it finally has come to an end and I don't really know how I feel about that.
First of all I always enjoyed reading this story. It never got boring and all the different companion beasts and characters were very interesting to read about. The only point that wasn't really worked out much was the character of the MC. You don't have many inner monologues or deep insights about his state of mind. Contrary to what one might think, this doesn't hinder the story at all and is even favorable to it because the story is very plot oriented. There also isn't a major romance part. Yes there are some females interested in the MC but this isn't the focal point of the story and hast close to zero impact.
There was only one time during which I wanted to stop reading the story and that was because there was a time lapse of a few years. The time lapse was reasonable and was thoroughly explained but I am in general no fan of those. In the end I am glad is still continued with the story because it only got better and better.
For the end: I really don't know how to feel about it. It wasn't exactly rushed nor dragged out. It was reasonable and still left me with a lot of questions. All plot strings of the story came to a nice end but the ending opened up a few new parts. This gives me hope for a continuation in form of a second book. So the ending wasn't bad and I am not unhappy with it but I want more - if that makes sense.
Anyway I highly recommend you to read Let me game in peace ๐
I cant remember when i first read this but it had a good start. Story then got a little complicated with twists here and there. characters are overall not bad. MC's train of thought/decision sometimes were unlogical (for me) but it all worked out in the end. Although this book is completed but there's still many information not being explained by the end of book. Im not sure if this book got a sequel but it should get one. Overall rating 7.5. You should give it a try!
Thank you for letting me read this marvelous novel of yours author, I'll wait for your new creations. I enjoyed every bit, from super gene until Let me game in peace. Write more, I wann read it all.
I greatly enjoyed Super Gene, even though it was definitely drawn out by 1k-1.5k chapters. I came into this novel expecting it to eventually have the same fate but the author learned from his first novel and cleaned up on the many errors and mistakes. Unlike Super Gene, this novel cleared up a lot of the things that were introduced in previous chapters and mostly everything was covered (except a few details such as what Truth Listener and Old Antelope truly were and what happened to Li Xuan's brother). I felt quite attached to many of the characters that were introduced and loved their various personalities. From the ending, I assume that the author intends to plan an outline for what happens once he reaches the other world (similar to Super Gene) except it's in a second novel instead of being all condensed together and messy like his previous work. Zhou Wen definitely felt a bit too apathetic at times but I just chalked it up to his composition. Overall extremely enjoyable read for me and I can't wait for more content from the author. Thank you Twelve-Winged Dark Seraphim for writing such a masterpiece.
Completed Review.
A unique novel which alot of taboo powers and rules.
Fun to read, with romance as not in any focus.
Mc is smart and has cleared goal.
The time skup in middle in explain later on.
End in movie way(hopefully there will be another book .
Overall Good read. also there is no racism or nationalism because there is no china in first place.
the whole is based on myths.
YOU. ARE. THE. DEAD. Oh my God. I got the chills so many times toward the end of this book. It completely blew my mind. It managed to surpass my high expectations AND be nothing at all like I expected. Or in Newspeak "Double Plus Good." Let me preface this with an apology. If I sound stunningly inarticulate at times in this review, I can't help it. My mind is completely fried.
There's one thing I like about the MC is that he's very careful. For example, if there's a cave full of mysteries, other MCs might've gone in, but this MC would be the first to get the f out of there
