I have been reading this book as well as another of ash’s books. I am so amazed that two books can be so different. I love the mystery that is unfolding. A cliffhanger ending every chapter, suspicious events, and happenings with very interesting, smart, and a curious young couple. i can never wait for the updates and find myself sitting in my car reading Just alittle more before i go to work!! I keeping refreshing WN just to see if A new chapter Has been released. not sure if book stalking is a thing but it is guaranteed to make you want to stalk it too!

This book is truly one of my top 5 books. I'm constantly looking for updates on it. Fortunately the author tends to be good on the updating. Of all the reading apps I have, this author is one that I look for. You won't be disappointed with this authors writing. They give you enough details without over doing it to where it starts to read like filler like some do. This author gives you a story, not a fashion show, a knowledgeable understanding, not an over analyzed thought process for 1 character every other page.

I literally binge on this and finished reading it within 3 days. I only read this now and because it is one of Ash's work that I have yet to catch up with, my expectation is high after reading her other works. Definitely this doesn't disappoint. I cried hard towards the end, definitely a cliffhanger kind of feels towards the end but what is happy ending for this dark mystery story when all ends~somewhat well...a touch of closure for evil things that happened. Still felt bummed by the ending for FL ☹️

I really don't know what to say anymore.
I waited really long. I still remember when the fourth mistress first came. I was instantly intrigued. There were very few chapters and I was already hooked. I loved all the story from Ash but this one... And even I decided I am not gonna read untill it's finished I did it anyway.
And the agony is real. I don't think I have it in me to wait. This little escape world is what makes me go on and on. And untill nd unless I get the closer, my heart won't rest.
My heart bleeds for Louise and Graham.
And Graham... I literally love him.
Loved the plot and can't wait for more updates.

Ash is a fantastic and consistent author. I’ve completed 2 of her novels and I’m almost done with 2 others. They’re addictive and moving, and 100% bingable.
This one is different from most of her stories in that there are no vampires and the like lol, but it’s a captivating mystery! The ending surely leaves the reader wanting and pleading for more.
Author, I’ve noticed it’s not marked complete yet. Are you still planning on adding additional chapters?

My second review of this story so I’ll keep it short. I love this! The mystery is so well done that we were all guessing the entire time if you read our chapter comments you see we never knew what the heck was going on 😂
With that said, I never cried so much reading a Webnovel story as much as I have as when I’m reading an Ash_Knight17 book. I’ve never been so angry and hurt and grateful to an author. Ash really knows how to pull at your emotions, and that’s what a real author is supposed to do. That’s all I’m going to say.

A perfect must-read book who are into mystery and Victorian era stories. The synopsis and the first few chapters are enough to convince me that this book is another bestseller. The writing quality is high because the atmosphere and the emotions of the characters are described in great detail. The flow of the story runs so smoothly that each chapter raises your expectations anew and they never disappoint^^

More than 2 years join WN just to read Ash's book. She's an excellent "psycho". Scare me to death then break my heart to pieces but I yearn for more. Louise was too into me, I can see my self in her, that's how my heart broken.

This is a cool and awesome novel mean there's love mysteries obsession revenge it mindblowing it's so exciting I really like Louise cause she's brave intelligent beautiful lucky and because she's guts and also Graham he has a cool vibe he's loving hardworking and also because. This author does a real good job of making you feel for the characters. There will be surprises and tears and laughter. Binge worthy but binge at your own risk.
It took me a while to recover from this story. It was worth it but it did impact me more than I thought It would. I had mixed feelings about it. The writing is beautiful, the delivery is magnificent, the author really did what we want authors to do which is take us away and evoke emotions.
I felt anger and betrayal but I also felt compelled and I loved this book more than I thought I could. Just writing this review, trying to keep it as vague as possible as to not ruin it for new readers is difficult in itself as the memory of it is stirring up my thoughts and feelings.
If you want to read something that draws you in, makes you question everything and everybody, and makes you feel real deep emotions that not only shock your core but humorlessly conflict one another this is the story for you.

This story It reminds me of a Jewish Folktale I read called “The Demon Tree”. Yes they have some similarities but they’re very different stories. Both really good! That’s all I will give. As I don’t want to ruin it for anyone

Another great book by ash_knight17! I have read all of her books and highly recommend all of them. You will not be disappointed. You will enjoy getting to know all the characters in “The Fourth Mistress” and thinking you have it figured out just to learn something new and unexpected in the next paragraph or the next chapter. It’s written in a way that leaves you excited to find out what’s ahead and asking yourself how you missed it. Our amazing author has a way of pulling you in as if you are living each page with the characters as you read. She is great with explaining the details from clothing to scenes, to castles and towns and makes it easy for your imagination to picture all of it. I can’t wait for volume 2 to start!

You will see yourself guessing and wondering but you will never be able to guess the truth … another great book from ash_knight17. Different genre but still the same brilliance from our dear author 💚
