I love this part of the story with the world-building and some good transmigration drama, especially compared to previous jokes about panties (sorry, it wasn't fun). Soul eating bugs must be terrifying! Or maybe they aren't visible to the naked eye?

the previous soul has to be idiot to consider the enemy as a friend. stupid to not know any signs. either that the enemy is too good in acting in both external and internal. if that's the one, that would be too creepy.
