Hello from the author! This is my second novel, and hopefully you can see an improvement in my writing style. 😉 What can you expect? - The female lead is not a weakling. She is a 27 year old smart, accomplished New Yorker who knows how to get what she wants. She does not depend on any man to save her or help her accomplish her goals. FL is career oriented, and as much as she enjoys the sight of a handsome looking man, she is not interested in romance. - The ML is not your overbearing, cold, typical CEO. He is handsome and smart and charming and rich... the full package. So, what is his problem? ML has commitment issues because of his past heartbreak, and the only thing on his mind is how to have fun and enjoy his life. - The story is making a point about consent: if anyone tries to force himself, he will get punished. As an author (and a person), I don’t believe in weak females who just surrender to what is coming without fighting back, or girls who melt and lose any will to resist after one kiss. Sure, there will be kissing and melting, but it will be consensual. - Besides ML-FL interactions, it will cover their friends and families as well. Their family members are supportive (in their own way). FL has only a doting father, while ML has a larger family. - There are no unnecessary misunderstandings. - There WILL be STEAMY scenes so... you have been warned. I hope you give it a try and enjoy this story which will be filled with a bit of drama, some action, but mostly romance and funny moments. Of course, try out my first novel as well: “Is This Destiny?” Note: Both stories have scenes in Seattle, and some of the locations are shared, so if you read my first novel, you will get a sense of familiarity when reading this one.

I don't even know where to start on how to describe this book!!! I wont describe anything in details of the book cuz I refuse to spoil anything for anyone but from the very first chapter I was hooked!!! The characters are designed exceptionally well, the plot was fantastic, the places were described in great detail... overall this book was a phenomenal read for me and I really truly had a hard time putting it down... would literally stay up til my eyes couldn't stay open anymore (like 3 - 4 a.m.) ... if you love budding romantic relationships, lots of love making scenes, bad boys turning good, mysteries and so much more... its all rolled into this book!!! RedSonia is an amazing author and you won't regret giving this book (or any of her other books) a try!!!

Once I started reading this novel I couldn’t put it down. This was an amazing story and I LOVED reading it. I’m now going to check out ”Is This Destiny”.

This is the first Webnovel book I have read from start to finish as I usually get bored. I loved characters and the cheeky one liners. The "naughty scenes" are well written without being too vulgar. It does get a little unrealistic with everyone finding the love of their life within the friend group but it doesn't ruin the story.

I loved this story the crazy female stalkers were the worst. Liz and Max grew together ther at the perfect time. Jake and Dr Snow were both crazy as well

This is the first time I'm reviewing a book and I'm not exaggerating but this the best I've ever read in Webnovel. I'm reading it again since I can't get enough of M&L😍

From the start, the story is engaging and it's clear that the FL is not a pushover. I love that she is a woman with a solid head on her shoulders and not some weakling that needs rescuing. Actually, she comes to rescue the ML from the first chapter. The comedic tone is making this a delight to read. 👍

I stumbled across this completed book and it hooked me right away! LOVE IT! I also love how it’s not too long. I dont even attempt to start a book if it gets in the higher hundreds of chapters.

Another exceptional novel from my favorite web novel author!! My only complaint is this one is too short (but I am comparing to 2000+ chapter “Is this Destiny” and that might not be fair hehe). The characters are memorable, I felt a range of emotions throughout the book and spent way too many night staying up later than I should with two toddlers that wake up extra early to get to a point where I could “put it down” - which was hard to do! A wonderful book with lots of love and romance. No unnecessary misunderstanding's and unwanted drags. All the troublesome ones were handled properly and justified. All and all a beautiful read and very satisfying ending. A must read for all romance lovers👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️

Playboy falls in love with Innocent gal, is usual story line BUT.... here u r in for so many surprising twists and turns in how they fall for each other and how they both react and handle, if his past hit them hard. This story is a Rom-Com with all sorts of fun, entertainment and drama. Thoroughly enjoyable💖💖💖💖 Just finished this novel and I already miss the characters in it😓

The story is intense from the start. The ML is not very likeable at the start, but FL makes up for it. Give the guy a chance, he will try to fix his flaws.
