Yes, this goddamn arc is now over. All I can say is that Zhang Heng needs to go to a psychologist many times to bring himself back to modern society. The best part of this arc is Zhang Heng becoming a badass captain and the worst part is focusing too much on the black merchant alliance and time skipping to the end.
There are so many things I wanna know, how many coins did he make, did he get any more items, did he level up more any of his skills. And ofcourse how he adapts back on earth
people complain about this arc, and complain about its ending was to quick/rushed/skipped.
author probebly noticed that if he wanted to write about everything that could have happened than it would have been atleast 100 chapters more.
I for one actually liked this ending (not saying that Im totally happy about this arc, but i kinda liked it well thats not my point) but would have been fucking great getting to know what that royal/noble would do after this monster of a man just disepears infront of him :P
also missing part:
what new skills? (we will get in future chapters)
new items? (we will get in future chapters)
how many point? (we will get in future chapters)
any children? <-- wishfull thinking, if it is a real world this would be intresting <3 :P or characters from these would will appear in future game settings/real world.
how big did is fleet become, how many loyal pirates became under him
should I be happy or sad for the end of this arc?
it wasn't the best but also it wasn't the worst one.
in fact I actually liked this arc expect the drama portion of it. (tgs business and all that bs)
Man I loved this arc so much! Shipbattles, cunning, betrayal, first love (Anne)! It was so f ing good! I was a bit sad it was rushed at the end and would have liked to see the ending of the characters, because Ive grown quite attached to them haha. Anyway, thanks to the translation team!
Quite interesting how a modern man who had 10 years worth of experience as a pirate, an extraordinary one at that too, would reintegrate into modern society.
It was the best arc so far. I think its length showcased the author's writing skills with all the characters and their conflict.
I think people were mad because they were attracted by the premise of world hopping and the pirate world took too long for their taste. It's a shame though that it looks like the author cut the arc short because of the criticism. A good 20 chapters more to highlight the growth of Zhang Heng throughout the rest of the years would've been good to see.
The ending was good, regardless. The ending was great. Him dissapearing will just add another legend to his name and terrify that noble, thus guaranteeing the safety of his pirate even after he leaves.
Bruh, I don't know if it's just me, but that ended, in my opinion, reveal that maybe, just maybe, the "Games" aren't actually simulated... besides possibly the survival island arc, considering that the Aristocrat saw him "vanish" into thin air...
