What a frustrating read! The story drags to the point of illogicality: the fl wears disguises and refuses to reveal herself when it would stop the abuse and schemes. Her exiles isnโt plausible at all! The ml doesnโt discover he is the bio dad until chapter 1274 ( there are 1468 in total).

As I got closer to the ending, I started to wander how they were gonna wrap up all the loose ends Turns out it didn't.That being said, the endings for the main characters were more or less wrapped up properly, so perhaps the author is going to spawn off other books for the other characters.The story itself was very engaging, this book is definitely a page turner. I also would like to say that the most "fun" thing with this book is: DO NOT TRUST THE CHAPTER TITLES XDWhile the little misunderstandings and miscommunications were rather irritating, the author explained it all rather rationally so nothing seemed like a plot convenience occurance, which is definitely a plus from me.Her 2 kids, while not given much appearance, we're still very loveable and adorable, even with not much screen time, was enough to win over the hearts of readers.While there weren't many painful moments, I love the portrayal of both a powerful mc and powerful male lead and how this was kept consistent. No random damsel in distress moments imo4/5 rating from me, I'd definitely recommend it!

This story is great but the plot is dragging too long, the misunderstanding is too many, to meet and acknowledge his kids we have to reach chapter 1400... really dragging too much for readers to read.

I loved the storyline between Ye Lanchen & Chu Wuyou. I am glad they finally got together. I would love to read the storyline of Tang Ling and Lin Bei.

dropped at 94.. almost a hundred chapters of reading and i got sick with the never ending chase. pacing is toooo slooww and so far the cycle for the 1st hundred chapters is the same.. got bored..

Enjoyed it however, a couple of side stories unresolved, (Tang Ling and the Prince/Princess as well as chu Woyouโs best friend and Situ) left me a little bit disappointed. Overall, I really enjoyed this story!

At the beginning, the story is very interesting, but after the long chapter, the story become too dragged..., even the ML can only recognize their children after sooooo many chapter.., too many misunderstanding and it become more unrealistic and boring, I skipped so many chapter but still can keep up with the story.

Such a lovely story and not your usual run of the mill kind. There are a few grammatical errors though. I hope the writer considers giving the other characters a side story of their own.

It really started out so exciting but then she married him and everything else went down hill...ML is not doting on her, he's possessive and controlling, he is not pampering her, he is obsess and manipulative. to think FL is suppose to be smart but she fell into his trap over and over

The story line is quite good and interesting however the story is dragged way too long. Some parts are a bit unnecessary. A conflict will only be resolver after a lot of chapters. I stopped reading this novel once in a while and skipped a lot of parts because it can get boring sometime.

The story is intriguing with twists and turns, the female leads dumb outlook to relationships and the male leads shamelessness is epic. well written and no dull moment. I loved reading from the first chapter to the last. Just wondering how Tang Ling story goes๐ค

I am confused, this novel started out great. Then it dipped with a lot of unnecessary information. Picked up again, really great. Developed slow, and then ended with Chu and Lanchenโs wedding ceremony. How do you end the novel like that?????

The book was very good ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ฝ ๐๐ผ I enjoyed the storyline, it wasn't boring, it had just the right amount of action, drama even some funnyness to it! My favorite characters were Ye Lanchen & Chu Wuyou; they were made for each other!! My favorite part was the little darlings & their introduction to their father! I thoroughly enjoyed TYM Ye's bonding & real conversation with Tang Zhimo. (his son)The saddest ๐ข ๐ ๐ ๐ญ part was when Wuyou divorced Ye Lanchen. A Very, very good & perfect ending to a perfect story! ๐ฅฐ ๐

Let me start by saying this is one of the most infuriating books I've ever read. I'm sure that the author won't see this review because this is a translated novel but I still feel its best to warn future readers.
1. the dragging: the story is extended unreasonably by the author. I won't blame whoever unfairly, it's mostly because of webnovel's system of encouraging longer stories. authors do this in order to gain more money but by God this is ridiculously slow.
2. the kids: the synopsis never mentioned kids or I would have never clicked on this book. I detest books that make kids props. toddlers need their mom and their dad so forgive me but I'm going to judge the fl for being a bad mother. secondly, men are not sperm donors. Even as a woman it's intensly irritating for me to read books in which the woman just decided to hide their kids from the father. Does he not have the right to know his kids just because he's a man? Does the kids not have the right to know their father?
Next is the webnovel trope of unrealistic intelligent toddlers. How much disbelief am I supposed to suspend in order to logically believe that 4 year olds are so intelligent?
3. the FL: none of her reasoning make sense which is such a shame because she's supposed to be so intelligent. First she insults the ml, then she runs away which begins the while cat and mouse race. because the ml chased her down she immediately concluded that he will take her kids away. she never once tried to find out about him and she denied both him and her kids for 4 years. then she agrees to a contract marriage with him, all this while misunderstanding compound.
4. The premise of the story: I stopped seriously reading around 100 chapters and skimmed the book up to chapter 800. the ml still hasn't discovered that he has kids. the fl is still hiding a lot of secrets and there's still investigating her identity. 800 chapters....
Well, I have plenty more to say but that would mean wasting more time on this

FL was mentioned as smart, but many times she allowed herself to fall into her enemiesโ plot. Also whatโs with 1150 chapters of ML not knowing that he had a child and why everyone is keeping the secret from him? I think this plot is too dragging.
