Seems it is moving too fast, why slow character growth yet fast on everything else. He spent about a week at a new clan and hardly knew his master making it feel like eh when the master dies ect. Maybe it should of had him stay at least half a year with some timeskips over weeks as we see him progress like a training montage and actually grow attached to other characters before they are killed off.
