I don't understand how this novel got this many good reviews. It's a bad system novel. mc got powers by system, he has never done any hard work. and still acts arrogantly in front of others. There is nothing special about the story.

Such a shame that a good novel is completely ruined by translations once again. From 265 and onwards, capitalizations, realm names and item names are messed up. The writing is edited MTL at best as well.

i tried to like this novel, premise was quite interesting. sadly, execution falls short to expextations. i very much dislike how powers mc received make him a puppet of a system, so reliant its sad. story was not interesting enough to keep me. : (

The story overall is a fun read for me, the mc is steadily pursuing his goal (as of the 331st Chapter which I've read so far). Though the story starts with two female servants, which as an experienced reader, would directly infer that this might be in a trajectory of a harem novel, if it already isn't one, the truth of the matter is it's not, at least for the current chapter as I have stated previously. Although there are some women (such as That Empress who I've only remembered because of her blind worship towards the mc) who display signs of "falling for a strong man" kind of cliché, it sort of split unto two directions after the mc rejected her plea to stay on the mc's abode, which will either follow the usual cliché route which is "A peerless beauty captivated by a strong individual decides to work hard on her cultivation and obtained great progress, becomes even more beautiful and aloof blah blah" or that the progress of their hinted intimacy will abruptly stop there. Mind you, the mc isn't some emotionless being, which leads to the first route a possibility. (though I do deeply wish that the story progresses unto the second route where the mc remains true to his goal, which is to transform his current world into a high-level one and stand at the peak of it, p.s. I hate romance and anything that has something to do with it, so please bear with my biases) Long story short, it's an overall good story with a decently structured premise, though I bluntly insinuate that I was met with difficulty with regards to certain terminologies such as sexes, as there are times when a character is addressed as "he" and sometimes, a "she," furthermore, there's also the confusing terms which I think are the result of a translation problem such as "Jindan" and stuff similar thereof, though I reckon you understand what I mean.

what is wrong with the updates right now? the capitalization of the names aren't even right it feels like its just an mtl with slight changes?

So far this novel is pretty good, I am definately reading this for the long haul. Though it is disappointing Brother Fan is still chilling in his wheelchair at chapter 150. Also when you say knife techniques do you mean saber? dagger? or an actual knife? Kinda confusing during some chapters.

Whoever gave this novel a 5 ⭐️ is a bot. How do you really like reading a novel where mc is one of the stupidest people you will ever know. He make illogical choices and have the stupidest decisions. The dialogue between characters are just forced asf. There is basically no world background in this novel. The story development is not bad but it isnt good either.

Can't get past chapter 35, got bored there. Too much killing spree. Too dependant on the system. Too much sentence of MC being much good temper but actually easily offended kinda lie.

Came here after reading the premise, hoping that it would have some kind of decent story and some kingdom/army building. The story had potential, but in my opinion, it was executed wrong. Disclaimer: I only read up to chapter 100 before deciding to drop this novel. First of all, the MC is too reliant on his system and just follows it along just like a brainless puppet. As I see it, he doesn't even have a personal goal... His only goal so far is to upgrade the world into a high level martial world... Why? because the system tells him to. He SOLELY rely on his system to get stronger, and doesn't even try to cultivate, train or try to get better by himself. I mean I've read many other novels having a system, but I have to say that this novel's mc is one of laziest and the most reliant on its system. So he wants to upgrade the world and spread cultivation around, I get that. But the way he does things really frustrates me, and his system seems to be built on just letting other people accomplish things while he rakes in points... Like I said, lazy... There's also the whole thing that he helps out and grooms random (apparently not so random) people and give them lucky chances. So the MC doesn't have a choice of who he should help out, and why? Well of course he has a choice, but does he do it? No. He just helps out people his system tells him to even if doesn't seem like a good choice, or maybe it's just because the MC has poor logic that he doesn't bother to think for himself... Another thing the irks me is that aside from his immediate subordinates, he doesn't seem to help out or give opportunities to the people who are loyal to him and his family, and would clearly aid him and benefit him in the long run. I know that his system wants him to spread cultivation so that the world would be upgraded, but why doesn't he focus or atleast start with the people most loyal and closest to him. They have clearly showed their loyalty, obedience and usefulness to him, but they aren't even rewarded for their deeds. He helps out and gives opportunities to would be enemies but not his closest people and allies, which can in turn help him out with errands and tasks, or at least deal with burdensome enemies, instead of having to face them himself all the time... Makes sense... The way things are going, you don't even really need the MC and just the system, because he seems just like a spectator or a robot following along on what the system wants to do.
