A deadly game of cat and mouse is about to begin in a world where some people have the ability to manipulate the elements. But what happens when the cat falls in love with the mouse?

Hali Lynn Nullean, ex princess of Beldon and a well known water elementalist, is on the run after escaping death at her brother's hands. Her brother, Charles, and his dark elementalists will stop at nothing until she is dead and no longer a threat to his crown. Charles hires a handful of bounty hunters to track her down and bring her to him, promising them something their heart greatly desires. Two of the bounty hunters are the Cerise twins, Ryland and Riordan, and are known spirit elementalists. They are promised the return of their mother from a prison she has been in for the last four years if they can bring the new king the missing princess.
