Excellent Medical Novel but costlier than medical books

I think this is a good read, it has its issues yeah but overall it legit. One of the things you have to take note of though is that after chapter 1000 all the pronouns get mixed up and they use her instead of him or me and I are mixed up. It’ annoying but you can just ignore by changing it in your own mind when your reading. I’m on chap 1500 and above and I’m still going so yeah

If you want the character to develop than this is not for you. If you like a monotone MC that this is for you. The story was good when I started reading. At first I thought that the MC will improve himself and he did but it's like he is a dead man with no emotions. All he cares about is surgery. He did not think that if he goes to a higher end hospital he would gain more experience and knowledge. The fact that he thinks that only he is a proper doctor is mind blowing. He forgets names and never tries to correct it. Has zero communication skills despite being a doctor but says that he comforted someone who had cancer, plot hole or what? he has also been threatened a few times but never took self defense. Food, friendship, hobbies, nothing. I really wanted a good medical novel with slice of life but this is all about surgery. the MC doesn't even lives at his home. He stays in the hospital all the time. in 100 chapters he went out less than 10 times. All in all I'm disappointed because i really liked the beginning when the MC had some emotions.

I really like this novel but unfortunately it gone to long hiatus but its back now but the translation is mtl, @_@ Well still interesting story until now even if you only understand little because of translation but i say again still great HAHAHAHA

A decent story, enjoyable to read. The only thing i dislike about it so far is the translation quality dropped after the first 200 or so chapters. Genders being mixed up, character names being translated differently, Doctors possitions(cheif, director, deparrment head, et…) being mixed up, skill level being changed around (sometimes the MC has a higher skill level and the translation drops it down and then later in the series its back up only to be dropped back down again). there are many other such examples in the story. I would still recommend it as a story to read, however you will have to be able to deal with these issues during your reading.

anyone know if this is actually just a <hopefully short> break, or is it totally dropped?? a handful of the better novels all went on break recently and we started getting multiple trashy cliche junk instead 😣

So ive read over 500 chapters here and this is a great book. however the editing in the last hindred or so chapters seem to be getting worse. in one chapter a persons title changes from resident to chief resident to director to president to CEO. on top of that people keep changing genders sometimes in mid sentence. so thank you to the author for a great story, but i think im done

would have rated higher but translation quality or writing quality dropped after chapter 300. its the standard doctor gets a system and his journey to the top. however incosistencies in doctor titles, skill levels and gender of characters makes it somewhat irritating. names can also be mistaken where the sentence shohld refer to characterA it writes another character instead. read it if you like these kind of novels, if not not reccomended unless youre used to mtl. regardless after chapter300npt w9rth to spend money.

I like this novel very much. It is interesting medical story with real and fantastic elements both. I wish this novel will be more widely known and read and liked by everyone

While the MC doesn't do anything in particular to drive the plot forward the supporting cast is pretty well developed. my main issue with this story is that it is just a series of cases with no interesting overall plot. over 500 chapters in and the MC is still just running from case to case is like a weird mix of slice of life pacing, wuxia face slapping, and filler medical text. I think the novel would have better flow if some of the small story threads are closed before moving on to the next at this point in the story there are 2 research plots, headhunter plot, love story plot, hospital department development plot, and several ongoing medical cases all going on at the same time. I almost forgot the system development plot as well, not to bad to follow in a binge read but with the release rate it's easy to leave some stuff hanging in the air.

Premise is nice. Quite similar to Great Doctor Ling Ran but the MC has been a doctor for 10 years, iirc, at this point. The fact that he has been a doctor for so long has basically no effect on the whole story, other than times where he quotes his "immense medical experience" when he needs to think of an excuse when using the system. Speaking of the system, it basically fades out into the background and becomes a glorified scanner and surgery streaming machine later into story. Even the streaming plot point is mostly to show the readers that the MC is, indeed, a master surgeon by making the stream viewers stare and awe at the MC's supreme godly skill. Plot progression is basically non-existent. 500 chapters in and only now is the MC starting to move up into a bigger stage. There is too much filler chapters that has mostly no impact on the overall story. The translation quality takes a dive around 300 chapters in. It starts to feel like its MTL as the pretty boy side character starts being referred to as a "she" and mob characters' titles start changing around all the time, becoming Director, CEO, President, Doctor, Teacher and such. At around page 500 it becomes basically unreadable.

How can i describe it?! Annoying!! This has similarities with Dr Ling Ran. If not from the same author then this is inspired by it. Both have MCs with super low EQs. What makes this worse is the actual MC itself. Given that he is plain looking, he is basically a wallpaper. Either people ignores him or they disrespects him. And again what is worse is he has no backbone to stand for himself. This started to get glaringly obvious when the infuriating Dr Su Yun(Dr Ling Ran who knows how to use his appearance to get what he wants) gets to join his team. The author keeps on going about on every scenario how this guys looks good and ladies keeps chasing after him while the same people look daggers or ignore the pitiful MC. And this same guys cant speak to the MC w/o insulting him. MC of course, is defenseless. Enough of my rant. I am not sure if the character development of the MC is a long term plan by the author. But like I said, it got worse when Dr Su gets into the picture. I will try a few more chapters and if there's no improvement, i will drop it.

Bruh i thought this novel has potential and this a new thing to read for me.. A Medical System novel but with xianxia/wuxia or any cultivation sh*t plot progression? bruh that really turns me off, i already have doubts when there was a plot armor early on, like a hospital dont have guards? really. With this constant FORCED plot, no thanks.

This is a good book, written if I am not mistaken by a doctor. However the translation has been going downhill making it difficult to read. is this MTL? How can Su Yun who obviously a guy became a She, instead of trying to add too many books, finish the ones you had properly. If you are just a fan translating people will understand if you are losing interest but you are taking people’s money, You have the responsibility to actually do it properly. I want to continue reading it but I won’t because its becoming ineligible.

This story is really really good 😘 It's interesting and also provides some knowledge about medicine. Like how surgeons really do before conducting a surgery, there's also the naming of the parts (specially internal). It really spread some knowledge. Good job to that author 😊 I also like the mc's character. And also I do not find the girls and other characters in the story annoying (except the villain-wanna-be-doctor 😆)

loved the story especially the part bw ml and fl they have little interaction but that is too sweet, not overdramatic just awes ome. low profile, not so aggrecive or arrogant but smart, intelligent and hardworking MC.

Alright, I haven't read that far into the story, maybe past chapter 30 but, I can already see problems where It makes me want to drop and I'll name them to warn people but not to diss the story. Great grammar and translation, I can also see the author put in work towards medical information and etc. Now, the biggest problems I've had so far is this is kinda like a 'young masters causing trouble' novel except the mc is a coward, never fights back, never defends himself, just doesn't have a backbone and the only thing going for him is his skills in surgery so far. Doesn't have good looks, money(so far), connections, and to top it off is his attitude. lackluster. simple as that. It would be a better story with maybe him having other ambitions such wanting to make money or friends or even to prove or defend himself. and again, I'm not saying this to stop people from reading I actually implore you to read because this isn't stopping me from keeping on even with those problems at hand. I can clearly recommend this novel. I dropped it mostly because I don‘t like reading about smoker and I don‘t need so much medical knowledge ;)

I Like Zheng Ren's character. 💯 He is not arrogant nor haughty even with the system. He is genuinely trying to improve himself to be capable and worthy of having it. I also like the other characters 😁 Xie Yiren - - I love how she compliments Zheng Ren's attitude and of course, his surgeries and his heart ❤️🤪 Su Yun - - the Nancy-boy but is real genius and the perfect assistant for Boss Zheng. I love how he subconsciously look out for Zheng Ren's welfare in the medical field event hough he still harbor some incredulity and envy about Chief Zheng's skills. Old Chief Pan - - the father figure for Zheng Ren. He was the one who make every opportunities possible for Zheng Ren to showcase and improve his skills. Chang Yue - - I like her no nonsense attitude 👌🏻 Chan sisters - - their personality completes the group Yang Lei-- (I almost forgot about him. Jk! 🤣) , the one who always holds the fort 😁😊 Waiting for more chapters. ❤️😍
