Keeping the Marquis’s Secret

Charla is a 17-year-old cursed commoner in the city of Avolonia hoping to become a royal Knight.

During a walk in the capital to attend the Royal Knight entrance exam she sees a mysterious man in the act with the Emperor’s concubine. The man notices her and threatens her with her life. Charla begs him to spare her. He agrees under the condition that she
spies on the emperor for him.

As Charla agrees she finds out that she has gotten herself in the midst of a world of deceit, rebellion and trickery.

Will Charla keep the marquess’s secret by risking her life as a spy? Or will she die before achieving this?
