So Hugo has it easy until his sister gets kidnapped and in the process of saving her the parents die, very sad. This guy goes through his adventure beating himself up a lot after that. Great world building and characters as well as amazing character development and showing how each character has their own study and practice and how they compliment the others. It’ a great read and I enjoy the story and how it unfolds. I can’t wait for the Finale!!

This my review of the first volume. I am more than disappointed... The MC is just a worse version of the MC of Mushoku Tensei(MT) ... although the story itself has many similarities with MT but it's not enough to make it just a copy of MT without any originality.. In fact the story is good and funny to read without feeling bored because the Author make a it like a new version of MT with few thing like the pervert MC and abused childhood frind and the sisters amd even the musclehead father and the beautiful mother ... but the difference is big enough to not make a big deal of this similarities like have the big sister and little sister insted ot two little sisters and the MC is timid insted of the Childhood frind and the childhood frind is orphan from the start insted of having her parents with her and the father is more better than the one in MC as for the mothers they are good in both novel ... but enough of this ... what make me disappointed here is different thing and has no relation with MT ... the MC is pervert who keep panties to sniff it and the most disgusting thin I ever read whether here or any other Japanese novel and he is super childish for someone who reincarnat and has terrible life befor and insted of thinking deeply about why and how he reincarnated with his memory he just wast his time in peaceful routine ignoring the danger of the world and simply train to impress his older sister and childhood frind and for someone who loss everything before and has the chance to make up for his regret of past life he is surely loser ... he trained without trying to fight for real to gain experience and he just feel flustered to see a panties or bodies of his big sister and childhood frind who are mere children barely between 10~12 years ... The hell with him how can he feel like that for children ... he is fucking twice or thrice thire age ... finally he was just focusing on his daily life without thinking for moments about any precautions for any dangerous situation may feel on him ... and lastly he just abounded his sisters after his parents death to meet his childhood friend in the other end of the world to seek comfort and bulid life there far from his sisters ... what is the wrong with this pathetic display of loser ... I mean if he just use his knowledge from just the novels he read i his previous life then he can predict that tragedy and maybe try to save his big sister without the need of the sacrifice of his parents ... this really a disappoint thing to know ... even the original MC of MT is so much better and mature than him and he try his best to has a happy life even with his shortcomings ... Oh Mr.author, can you consider making a complete original novel with more worthy MC ... you really make a good novel but the MC here is just so bad and I can't understand why you make him like that ... even if you take inspiration from MT you could have make a better MC not the other way... anyway thanks for your hard work.

I read this at your other site since ch 50ish I think the ratings here are pretty unfair considering the quality of the novel I like the Mc and I like the story Good read overall
