So Wang Lu still likes her Huh?! To be honest, I like him for his protection and all but my dislike (I won't say hate) for him still surpassed that amount of like because of what he made Yan Mei go through.

Can I say Wang Lu is the most self-contradicting and confused character in this novel? He insults and claims being the victim, pushes you away then the next moment he is behaving like he cares the most. What is care and so-called love when there is no trust?
