Alright, I've just finished reading the novel's first chapters and I found it especially captivating. Maybe it's the author's skills to progressively present the novel to the reader in a smooth way, or maybe it's just me and my preferences since the novel is depicted in a victorian-like world and the main character's name is John, they clearly distinguish this novel from the rest CNs and make it more familiar for people who are yet to get in touch with eastern names and the cultivation world. With all these things considered, I will update this review further as new chapters are released.
