this is the only book in this site that i unlock all the chapters. the story is so addictive, refreshing and the illustrations of the author in every events are very nice, one thing that i look forward in this novel are Zhang's chocolates (yummy) 🥰 and Feng Mians paintings 🤔🧐😲 as an artist myself i can easily visualize her concepts people can relate into it without her knowing just like elder wei feels in one of her painting about survival and hardwork. the bonding and love of siblings are superb as well as their wives. thanks author for this novel...looking forward for your next novels to come.😉😊😁

Sigh. That was so satisfying. 😩 I’ve been a fan of Author Sora since I’ve read her first novel, Flower Bloom on the Battlefield. I must say, I always feel very satisfied, although I do want some epiloguee with little Feng Mian or Little Zhang Liang 🤣 Anyway, I really love Feng Mian’s character. She’s strong. Very decisive. She knows what she wants. She’s very rational. She may look weak but she can also be fierce if you cross her bottomline. Her character is very likable. Zhang Mian’s character, although he’s cold, he’s also very decisive. I must say that Feng Mian and him is really a match. It’s like Feng Mian is a female version of Zhang Liang without the rich trainings 😂 That’s how sync they are. The family was very lovable. I enjoyed every interaction and every banter. The story was very very light, which I really really love. There were totally no misunderstandings, there were no scheming family members. No drama, no angst. Seriously, it was that light, and I love it. The couple were so honest with each other, they were so rational with their relationship and they were also very decisive. They were always considerate of one another. It was a very harmonous relationship. There was also no draggy scenes, there was no prolonged conflicts. Everything was just so perfect for me. Knowing that this is the first time that Author Sorahana wrote a fully centered romance novel, I’d say it was very very successful. If I didn’t know, I’d never even thought that it was her first time. I’m so sad that I have to say goodbye to both Zhang Liang and Feng Mian. I always look forward to their interactions. They were so adorable. Anyway, overall, if I could rate this novel more than 5 stars, I’d do it. It was that good. And I’d just want to say again:

Feng Mian’s and Zhao Liang’s story was a slow burn but sweet all the same. I wonder if a little Liang or Mian came right after. Hoping for some follow up bonus chapters.🥰

I enjoy reading this contemporary novel. good job for the author. the only critics is the grammar I think 😂 need improvement, hopefully in the near future.

I have completed reading the book....its quite refreshing for a contract marriage story....i loved their story from the begining to the end....

Its a Sorahana novel, so for sure the story will not be boring and the main characters are likable, balanced and relatable. I have to give full points as its under 200 chapters which is great for me. Enjoying what I'm reading so far, will continue to enjoy more.

Story is nice i really liked this a lot I just love it it's after a long time i am studying a book before studying I felt if I don't like it it must be a waste of time but i really felt very glad that this story is not bad ot won't disappointed me

Okay... This novel is totally different from what I usually read and what I expected! There were no clichés of overly romance, overly cold ML and too much sweet interactions and definitely no smut but surprisingly, I enjoyed the details and journey of the characters in this novel! This totally lived up to its title, "1 year of beginning" as it detailed how their relationship started until it flourished along with being together, working together as "partners". The foundation of their love is so strong as they slowly built their trust, communication and commitment to each other <3 Along with the right support of their family and friends, they managed to find themselves right for each other. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story, Sorahana!

I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys a straight forward romance, good characters and multi-dimensional FLs. I enjoyed the story and even more the relationships of the characters. It was very refreshing to read a romance where it grew over time where they communicated and treated each other with respect. Even some of the 'villians' were able to turn a new leaf. It wasn't complicated by misunderstandings or intense drama within the relationship. As an English speaker, what brought it down for me was some of the inconsistencies with grammar. But this did not completely distract from the core of the story. It still flowed well. It's always nice to read about a couple who's stable even while the world around them is not.

I truly enjoyed this novel! I love that fact that this novel is about an artist instead of an actress. My only complaint is that its too short; it need to be a few more chapters for the character development of the ML and FL to fall in love. at some point i felt like it was a little rush and not enough depth. overall a good read and i look forward to your other work author=)

I love the storyline and the characters. That's especially because I find them quite easy to relate to in reality. The story is without unnecessary side tales and excessive drama, and the length is just perfect for me. I truly wish I could enjoy more stories of such controlled length. The only downside I observed is in the editing. Some grammatical changes and spell checks would make this even more of a quality work. Well done, author!

if you are bored with the typical backstabbing, revenge stories this is a fresh air for you. love the way characters grow without any cliche misunderstanding or violence. There is no backstabbing family drama, cheating fiance or any complicated drama,only a sweet,real storyline. must give it a try
