We need more introspection on Blair's part. Nothing mushy please. Just a clear outlook on his thoughts and opinions instead of brief snapshots of him looking at cannons plots and how events affect. I feel like his presence is being shadowed by the original plot. It feels like same plot different pov. The angle is different, but the landscape is the same. How is his training going? How has his goals changed? What is he looking forward to? What preemptive measures is he taking for the incoming war? What annoys him? How does he prepare his teaching material? How does he feel about the school staff? What does he feel toward the people around him? It doesn't have to be life changing information, but he feels invisible.
In my opinion the novel has regressed a bit. Now all I'm seeing is the canon plotline with blair as a side NPC. He had goals, he had a personality and the novel used to be focused on him as the MC. As much as I don't like saying this, is with much respect that I say this is transforming into a generic potter fic from what it used to be or at least that is what it looks to me from my reader perspective. And on that note, if she (Aurora) is supposed to die as Cedryk (canon champion) I think most of the readers will nope out. Blair deserves some happines in his life.... Anyways, thanks for the chapters.
thanks for the chapter 👍
I really like the story at the start it was great but it is little downhill since this new arc the mc is bland, just following along the canon, no signs of romance and the women who the chance to be with him you basically killed and made her his daughter!
