Writing an updated review. Still loving this book for what it is. A light novel isekai at its best, with characters grounded somewhat in reality, a smart MC, and a dash of heart.

I absolutely love this novel and the characters in it, the interactions are more human than any novel I layed my eyes upon. every character has a personality and they don't exist for the mc, they exist for themselves. the writing and grammar are spectacular and I've seen few on webnovels like it.... but the bad parts are the influence japanese has in everything here, when I read a fantasy, I don't expect Japan or something to be shoved in my face everytime I read a name, especially by the locals, even if the excuse is that there were earthlings being summoned, the novel proved that japanese weren't the only people being summoned, I'm surprised the author didn't make the characters dogeza or bow after every mistake they made... this is just a personal gripe but, in the later chapters, every main character states their reason for winning is from the power of friendship, it's kinda cringey to read adults saying stuff like that even if it's true, overall I would still recommend reading, definitely one of the best novels webnovels has to offer

I have mixed fellings about this i liked the pacing of this but the mc is considered a potential high adventure but he going underprepared, at least in info, is bothering me so much and how come there are so little people with lvl it is not that hard to kill low lvl monster if you are prepared

As of right now, im only on chapter 15 but im loving it so far! Writing quality: Really good! No spelling or grammer mistakes that i saw. Update stability: Its good! Cant really say anything else about it :) Story development: Really good! Its not your cliche hero novel where the hero becomes OP in the second chapter. The story is thought out! Character design: Great! Although the mc has yet to kill any monsters, thats why its great! The mc was overweight so he has to lose some first before being able to kill some monsters. Also the other side characters are great! World background: ??? Gave it a 5 star because why not. 😇 Overall, READ THIS! You will not be disappointed.

Loving this novel so far! The author is really putting effort into making a cohesive narrative with real stakes. Any isekai fan needs to read this. The MC does not get a special cheat per se, but earns what he has through hard work and actually thinking. And it's well written, especially compared to a lot of popular trash out there.

Totally recommend this story. The author is going for a light novel vibe, with the epic fight of Hero vs. Demon King, with complications. In this setting, the Demon King is in the final stages of winning. The MC hero is just one of many sent over to stop him, but the others usually give up. Anyone who likes isekai stories should read this. This is better written than most of the other isekai stories out there.

So I have finished reading the first volume which ended around chapter 68/69. If I should rate the volume it would 6.5/10 or 7/10. As the author mentioned in some chapters he is doing it for the experience but does have simple yet effective writing style and rarely any grammar issues so all is well in department. The world is relatively unexplored and would most likely take the trope of small jobs to big jobs like normal isekai with hidden monster or secret villain. The plot is predicatable if you have read novels since it's used often plus anime. I would love mystery to the would building. The characters fit their stereotypes except for the main character. From the description everything matches with their personality so nothing is out of place. Some of the instances meant for character growth comes quite cringe or irritating. Some jokes and some don't. The Druid is quite irrigating nothing she says is out of character (for the most part). But what she says and acts is so frustrating that...and it's expected that some characters don't have good chemistry for groups but I respect the patience of the MC at times because damn they can be irritating. The characters work I would say Final thoughts, it's above average I would say but some the characters may turn you off but as the author said he is doing this for fun

What can I say. We have the rarity of good writing here. The MC is understandable and not too dumb, and likes to ask questions, fleshing out the people and world for us and him. There is a Slice of Life combined with Adventure genre elements. All in all, would recommend a read.

I will keep this an honest review. Initially it looks like a generic Isekai but it's not trying to hide or use some gimmick. The genre isn't bad imo just that's over saturated and so this novel works for me. What makes this different from most of the others is the mc and him starting at 0. Other novels do it too but it's much more interesting here. i read about 30 chapters in one go because I was curious about the protag and how he will progress, and the people he will meet. So give this a try. Atleast read a few chapters before dropping. As for other stuff like writing, I can't comment on that. My English is pretty basic but I didn't find anything that made me go "Oh look such a dumb mistake!" that's all. would recommend.

At first I was a bit apprehensive towards the novel. The MC starts out fat and is a loser, but over time he really does grow into a great guy that pulls through despite everything. The author does a great job of writing funny moments as well as bringing the serious times when they need to. The writing of the novel improves by a lot as it goes on, starting about average for this site but improving to what is currently chapter 98. The subtleties and detail that is explained makes me feel like I'm seeing it while I read it. 5/5. I'm looking forward to reading more!

I decided to delete my last review to update, this story still holds my undying respect and features what I love most, this is a great read and I would recommend to everyone I know… while I speak great things of this novel, I suggest you give it a read yourself. Some other great things in this story is the characters and how they each there own aura, that makes you care about them.

Interesting read. Check it out if you are into the transmitigation genre. Author does a good job of telling a story. It's pretty slow starting out though so reader beware.

Yes I am reviewing my own story. I began to write this series because I was interested in series like Konosuba. I asked myself "What would YOU want out of an isekai series?" and so I decided to write my own. This story is designed to poke fun at the general idea of isekai wish fulfillment series while also being its own story. I don't want to sound egotistical, but from what others have told me the writing is funny and consistently well done, the characters are memorable and enjoyable, and the world is well built. I don't ask that you make this your favorite story, but I do recommend that you at least give this a try.

This story is so funny, I love it when characters are normal human and practical. Besides the interesting plot, the writing is amazing too so you will feel captivated. It's definitely an unusual story but worth the read, definitely, a must add-it-to-your-library type.

Okay, this story made me legitimately laugh aloud so many times. I've caught up to the most recent chapter, and I'm quite excited to see where the story goes. The writing quality is great, although my only complaint is that it's sometimes hard to tell who's talking, since you don't actually write who's speaking until after the fact. I read the comments in the chapters, and a lot of people didn't seem to like the main character, but he's hilarious in my eyes, because he's most definitely how an unfit weeb would act isekaid. Honestly speaking, the story reminds me of a mixture of Konosuba and Grimgar, and this book is one you should read. The world building is very nice, and there aren't any info-dumps either, which makes me happy. Overall, my only real complaint is that it's hard to tell who's speaking sometimes, although the author does remedy that by having the characters have certain mannerisms. The last thing is that I wish the author would go more into their actual actions, like when they speak, what do they do while they're speaking, or go into more detail with facial expressions. Minor stuff like that would really put this book on top.
