You need to read this novel!!! (This review is based on chapters up to the 82nd) Firstly, this is not your typical reincarnation story. The story is full of mysteries that will never fail to hook you. The plot is multi-layered so you won’t be able to guess everything in one go, hence it’s not boring or predictable. I love how author reveal one thing after another in a pace that is neither too slow nor too hasty. So, there is not one chapter that I find boring or unnecessary. This is such a nice thing because sometimes I find stories (even those that I really like) to be dragging or too slow. I can totally feel that the plot is well thought and solid. Secondly, I love how the chapters are quite long. So even if author only updates one chapter daily, but the reading experience is kind of similar to reading 2 chapters daily. So even though the novel has only 82 chapters as of now, but I think it is quite comparable to 150 chapters of most other novels. So far I’ve only encountered 2 or 3 books in webnovel that publish long chapters like this one. So I really really love the author for this. And so far the update seems regular; one chapter daily with extra chapter once in a while. Thirdly, I love the character build in this story. For starter, I so very much in love with both the main couple. The FL was supposedly a villainess in her first life but seems like there is some conspiracies behind the happenings in her previous life. And I love how thoroughly author incorporated the legend of a phoenix in her character; from how she lives a few life with one being better than the previous to her being the heart of phoenix. She is lovely, smart and has a mature beauty; beautiful face with a seductive body. The ML is portrayed as a very good looking man. But because he had lived a very hard life since young, he is quite aloof and quiet. But after meeting the FL, he starts changing and find enjoyment in interacting with her. He is notorious for being the ‘shadow beast’ but personality he is a gentleman through and through. He fits with the saying ‘gentleman in the streets, beast in the sheets’ 😝. I really love how he is with the FL. Their love and passion for each other are to die for and I love every fluffy and steamy moments of them 😆. So, give this a try and you’ll love it!

Let me just start off by with this: this novel never crossed my mind to read it because of the TITLE. It honestly reminds me of many popular translated (I guess not translated as well) Chinese novel titles on here that feel shallow and flat. Though I am up-to-date with the current chapter I’m still not an advocate for the title even now. HOWEVER, let’s just say that in this case the story overpowers my disapprovement of the title that much more. This novel popped up on my recommended novel list for the 7 day reading challenge. With little to nothing I wanted to choose to read from, I decided to give it a shot since who doesn’t like a hot ML who’s a captain?! (plus other reviews who claimed the novel is fluff & candies++👍🏻) Anyways, I’m very impressed that I was hooked onto the story within the first 5 chapters. As mentioned in the synopsis, FL was given another chance to live her first life. She changes for the better and becomes a much more mature and charming person (plus a bit of feistiness to top it off😉). And it’s even better that she and the ML meet near the beginning of the novel🥰 Their love is to die for! They have great trust in one another, good communication to prevent major misunderstandings, and so much fluff and PDA for readers to gladly drown in😂 No shame! AND ML is such a cutie and deserves the world❤️ He is very respectful and always gets the consent of FL before he engages in anything intimate with her. They really are each other’s world🥺 (Heck, where’s my Kiho out there?!😒) The story progression feels very steady despite the two leads jumping into their romance right off the bat. But there is still a good pace that it follows to further heighten and reinforce their relationship. A couple of grammar and spelling errors but it is dismissable and doesn’t hinder the reading progress. Overall, LOVE the story so far. I remember the author mentioning how the story might end between 200-250 chapters, which I think is a wise idea. I can see how this novel could be extended with longer arc lines and more fillers to drag the story out to 300-400 chapters. But I think the value of those -250 chapters will far over weigh that of something more lengthy for the sake of adding more. AMAZING!!! Its definitely not your typical villainess story! Its super cute, and the plot twists later on really have you on edge! In the vast ocean of rebirth/villainess stories, this is one to look out for! :)

Okay, so I was reading this novel before and it was sooooooo goood y'all! Sadly I ran out of coins[img=update][img=coins] and regrettably forgot about it but I finally found it after scowling my library some year(s) later. The only thing I couldn't forget was how I imagined the ML constantly saying the FL's name "Tilly, Tilly". I can finally finish it. This story is full of twist. The author have made me went from one surprise to another surprise. Each chapter has a twist. The ones seemed to be kind people, but they was actually spychos. I never thought that i would enjoy this novel that much! This novel is one of my favorite novels

Tbh, all I can say about this book is that, it makes me feel ✨single✨. Single in a good way, and even though I haven't read in a while. I can honestly say it's a MUST. The characters; chef kiss. The drama;chef kiss. Tilly, and Kiho? CHEF KISS (You need to read it, because honestly author-San did not come to play) Btw I love you authorrr😩

Currently on chapter 181 and wanted to write a little review. To start, it’s been a while I been addicted to a book. i really really loved this book. From plot, characters anD the world building. I like everything except a bit the endearment terms (baby,hon…)which was a lot and cringy at time, but well seems the author love those surnames, thus I don’t mind. Now I will be sounding really weird but I am obsessed and in love with the Twins moonchesters : Emperor Aku and the princess NIA. Lik…. they are my favorite thing in the book and I would pay anything to read a side story of them even if i know it will be a TRAGEDY, I still gonna read it cause I really like their weird obsession , curse and hate story. I wanna elabOrate but i feel if I start I will never finish, and probably by the end the author or fans might curse me hahahaha lol anyway it is a great book, I will definitely recommend. When I finish it, i will write another Review maybe. but so far i love it.

the works of the author is amazing that you dont wish to put down the novel whether it's this or others by the author...the only disappointing thing is this being the first novel is still not complete and the author is writing many more. I have already lost track of the storyline cos its been so long. though I love her works but seeing how all her novels r incomplete yet she's starting new ones, am not sure if n when she will complete this novel. So henceforth I will only read her novel once its complete.

This is the best novel i have read so far in my life There is sooo much mysteries that you wouldnt even predicted in start of story amd this is soooo much good i just love this novel sp much and every chapter is amazing there is not even a single chapter that feels boring every chapter have theur own content and different from each other and there is not even a single i bring myself to hate because every character is fun in its own way my fav is not only FL and ML my favs are all and even some villian characters too When i started reading this i dint have much expectations because of novels namd but this is bessssssttttttt😍 keep it up author

I honestly thought that the story revolves around romance. That's why I was surprised when the mystery of the novel actually kept me hooked. I was only here for the romance but the author made me use my brain. Haha! Good read, y'all. :D

The only reason I left this story was because it has too much PDA and I prefer stories like ghostly doctor where FL and ML meetings are very few so we actually look forward to them

Honestly I would have liked this story very much if there wasn't so much dog food. I liked winter thoughts and mother and son moments also the times where ML and FL were FAR AWAY, totally out of range , on the other side of the world ( Important things must be repeated three times in different words so that everybody can understand ) from eachother. I would honestly prefer stories where FL is very independent

Okay. I haven’t fully read the book but I was hooked by the synopsis. What I expected was a villainess chasing the ML hard but it was really soft. She was the villainess but after rebirth became soft and everything. It’s like everyone likes her. And that isn’t exactly my cup of tea. But the thing about this story is that the story is interesting. I mean, despite the constant cringy conversations ( seriously, I’m always cringing when the fl and ML talk. It’s not natural. They go like baby here and there! Jesus! Ah! CRINGE) and despite the fact that the fl figures things out like some heavenly genius (seriously you can be staring at a stone and boom! She tells you how who plotted what against who and she figured it all out by looking at a stone) despite the fact that people quickly open up to her (nothing like villainess vibes only fl vibes here) and hate her for no reason. And despite the fact that the emotional development works at a mind blowing speed! The plot is actually pretty interesting. It still makes you wonder what’s going to happen. Like I can’t wait to know what will happen to the emperor and his sister. Also when the- let’s just say there’s so much mystery that isn’t obvious. When I first read it, I thought it was going to be simple but it just kept unfolding a lot. So although the writing style is a bit amateur, (I’ve been imagining like a 12 year old wrote this and I’m like awww so cute. You go girl) the book is still generally interesting.
