Haaa. Finished reading to the latest chapter and I'm stuck on a cliff again. Amazing. This is only the second time I've binged an original like this. This is a hidden gem and I'm surprised and pissed at how underpopular it is. What are you waiting for? Go start reading. In case you weren't convinced here's the review: Writing- 5/5 Reads like a published novel. Nothing to say here. It is a bit fast paced at parts and less detailed than your usual case-solving style novel. Written very well nonetheless. Very easy to imagine and everything is described well even with fewer details. Plot- 5/5 Amazing so far. I usually end up predicting a lot of the plot and planting my flags, but here I had a clue in the middle of a few arcs maybe at most. Unpredictable plots but not annoyingly convoluted. Characters- 6/5 THIS IS WHAT DID IT FOR ME. Among the best characterisation I've seen on this site. Not just the main characters, but all of them. The three things I loved the most in this novel were 1. Levi 2. Sam 3. The interactions between Levi and Sam Levi's monologues, dialogues, behaviour are all very fun to read. The romance(?) is really well done. Exactly the kind of romance I like. If I had to give a comparision, it's somewhat similar to Hachiman and Yukino in Oregairu or Jo Minjoon and Kaya Lotus in God of Cooking. If you are sick of those CEO romance novels then give this unique take a read. Overall, must read. I've read 100s of originals on this sight and this is in my top 2 favourites. Suggestions for the author: There's nothing much I can say here. 1. In the starting few chapters there are some spelling/ grammar errors.(Very few of them hardly noticeable) Some places have comma instead of period. One place had slick blood instead of slick blonde. Couple places have wrong tense, wrong gender. I think you can fix it if you read it once :) 2. For time skips within a chapter, you can leave a gap of few more lines or draw a line with stars ******************************************************** like this. It helps keep the imagination steady. Like seriously...there's no major flaws in the novels and I can only pick on things like this :p Please keep up the good work.

A brilliant and fascinating realistic fiction novel. The book is very captivating as it full of intrigues well planned out by the author. I am a fan of cultivation novels but I must say that when I found out about this book, I continued to read. It was smooth and entertaining as I was immersed in a world full of suspense. The book is amazing and there is no error which makes the book deeply interesting to read. So glad I got the link to this novel. Also, writer's english is awesome and excellent. Am a writer myself but I have to say that I would have to learn english from this writer. Smooth flows and good use of words. Good job author. I really appreciate your passion for this work. Binged this original after it came out from my recommendations list and I was caught - hook, line and sinker, for its seriously awesome plot. Finally, a novel where I can spend my passes (lol) Writing - I know the author isn't a professional, but this book feels like it was written by a pro. The quality of the writing is beyond any webnovel I've read, or maybe I'm a bit biased in saying that, because I'm a sucker for Sherlock-inspired works (I get your references haha I'm proud of myself) Stability - it's really steady! Keep it up! Development - as I said, the plot is seriously awesome. But what's more amazing is how the story progressed as more and more pieces fit into its puzzle. And sht, I had several moments too that got me at the edge of my seat (or bed) and I'm like "noooo..... oh-ok *sigh*" wew Characters - SS-tier writing and descriptions again! I vibe so much with Levi and Sam! I came here for them, and will stay here for them 😍 Background - the setting is also intricate, and I'm sure author has put a lot of effort into making it vivid for us. What a brain. READ THIS! INCREDIBLE! 👏

Please dont start reading this book if you are looking for an ending. I spent the last 2 days reading it & wasting coins to realize it’s not finished & hasn’t been updated in 10 months!!! I loved the story & I’m truly disappointed that the authur just gave up on it. Truly unhappy, wish they would update & finish the story ☹️

Why did I haven't seen this novel before when it's been a year ago here being read by the other readers it got hooked on to it? This is my kind of genre that keeps my mind alive and anticipated for more on what's beyond my imagination or my expectations. It got me instantly immersed the moment I started reading this and this story is just brilliant and originally well conceived.

Just by looking at the title, I thought this will be your usual mystery thriller story with a little romance undertone. But this book actually a love story with mystery thriller background. The main characters are very interesting. And somehow in this book universe, Sherlock Holmes not exist.

It was a very good read. The writing style is superb. The character development is if not the best, it is one of the best. The best thing in this novel is the interaction between Sam and Levi. Their kind of romance is exactly just what I am looking for.

This is a great read. The characters are developed very well throughout the story, and the story line(s) is/are interesting. There is very little "fluff", as almost every word written adds to the narrative rather than acting as a page filler. Binged it and am looking forward to more chapters.!

One of the most enjoyable and intelligent reads I've come across in a long time. Most of the books in this genre tend to get too intense, even gory. But despite having a forensic pathologist and a criminal psychologist as the main characters, this story promises humour, fun, emotions in addition to thrill and suspense. Beautifully written, the characters are interesting and span the whole range of personalities, well balanced story, adequate dose of suspense and drama and emotions. And Levi's Irish charm is just the cherry on the top! A must read. I'm gonna read it at least a few times for sure.

A very entertaining and solid book. It's not all about murders as the title suggests but it has a good amount of then and they are very well written. The character development is nice and the author keeps me on my toes a lot. Highly recommended!!

The book is good, although it's not my liking as I'm used in reading cultivation novels...it kinda reminded me in my days when was watching series too much( Mentalist and Elementist). Keep the good work author.

Everything is great! Well planned and thought out. The characters seem real and the author definitly reaserched everthing. Read It!! Writing Quality- 5/5 Almost no errors; grammer is good, and other than occasional capilization errors, writting is consistent. Updates- 5/5 I've had this in my library for only a while, but from what I can see updates are good. Story/Plot- 5/5 Engaging and interesting.
