Alright guys. It's been a while since I've done anything with this series, and I'm sorry for that. To make up for it, I'm taking back my work from the publisher I've worked through, they were not what I was expecting. Instead, I'll be putting all of my work back on my old page And all 125 chapters I have at this time will be 100% free. I haven't been paid a dime for my work since 2018, so why should you have to pay one, am I right? As for updates, I've been thinking a lot about where to go with this story. For all of you that have read it, I'm sure you know what I'm planning by now. For those who haven't, just get to the chapter "A Brief History Lesson" to get a little back story on my shiny little world, then you'll be able to guess what comes next, at least the gist of it. So, for all of you who have supported me over the years on this profile, thank you, and most of all, I apologize. I've already posted into the paywalled chapters within my other profile and will continue to do so tonight until I drop. I came up with a new cover art which I believe captures Hong Zhao well enough, let me know what you think!

Im not that good at writing reviews, but i highly recommend this. Its a very unique novel that branches off from the rest of the generic Novels. Very good world background and character development. So far no romance, which is great. I Haven’t read every single chapter yet but its good enough for me to want to finish all the chapters.

Good news everyone! The chapters are going to be put back into some semblance of order! Chapters 1-50 will be free, as was the way it was meant to be. Chapters 51-71 and onward will be paywalled. Before you say anything I just wanna say that I haven’t read this book yet! Nope, not even a single chapter title! Then why am I giving this a 5 star review you may be wandering... well to those who are suspicious- no I’m not an alternate account to some shameless author but it’s because I read the book’s title which is ‘ Red talon piercing the darkness’ and not ‘Red talon piercing the heavens’ cuz the heavens have been pierced by so many MCs it became generic. I’m here to support change because I want something new and non-cliché! Leave a like to show your support so that others can see this! We need to do this if we’re gonna get non-cliché novels anytime soon dammit.

Well.. I did try to get the free chapters back up to 50, but my contracted publicist told me there was nothing they could do. I was told at my contract that the amount I set to free was set in stone after I first submitted my works. At the time, I had around 45 chapters and didn't want to give all of my work out for free. I had thought that after I got to 50 chapters, I would switch it to 25 free, then when I got to 60, I would go 30 chapters etc. But then I was told by the contractor that I couldn't switch ptr to free after it was set. This is my fault for negligence. Since this happened, I will switch my chapters to free until I reach 80 chapters. To all that this impacted, I do apologize.
