i came for a military book, and instead got a guy who got booted because of a botched mission only to be abused by two women who are pretty and think all men should fall olall over them and get everything they want because they said so, young masters who want to kill you because you sneezed the wrong way, and the usual beta mc. he's supposed to be a soldier for God sake, even before the mutation takes full affect, he was a soldier for 8 years, yet, in the building he owns he can't even get the apartment he wants to himself just because two pretty girls said, i live here too, so they just do now? why?

I really need to stop putting any sort of hope in Chinese cultivation style novels.
Between the unnecessarily overdramatic and overdone "hardship"plots and the George Orwell level of brainwashed propaganda they are pretty much unreadable. That a problem with all these types of novels. This one specifically is also especially idiotic and annoying since I'm almost 400 pages in the relationship between the MC and the FP is cringworthy, idiotic, and can't be believed no matter how much disbelief you try to suspend.... I'd give this book a zero if I could.

This is a very interesting novel.
