I think I started this novel a few months ago and abandoned it. Now I wish I could go back and slap my past self. I am loving the story so far. Pros: The author does a great job of balancing real life and the virtual world. Romance is nice and doesn’t feel forced. It is a harem, but hopefully it doesn’t go the Qing Shui route. Alpha MC who knows how to treat the ppl he cares about. Characters are fleshed out and the author does a great job of slowly revealing the MCs past, so you can understand the choices Xie Feng makes and his thought process. The fight scenes are fun and exciting. They are vivid enough that I can imagine being there and short enough that I haven’t gotten irritated and skipped chapters. I just started the novel, so I can’t say anything about stability updates. Cons: Grammar could be improved, but it’s not on the scale of sentencing the author to grammar prison. There aren’t 1,000+ chapters to feast on. Conclusion: If you like action, virtual reality, romance, harem, fantasy, I would definitely recommend picking up this novel.
Lemme just say this a great and finish this review quickly for people that just came here to look at the reviews a little. Pros: -mc isn’t a wimp -mc isn’t a simp - mc doesn’t seek a giant harem but has some of the most beautiful women in the world that are in love with him (some are obsessed) -unlike other harems the harem members don’t suddenly disappear only to never be heard of again. They are almost always with him and he cares for his women ALOOOOOOT. - he does not go around acting chummy and trusts everyone he meets. Has a heart that does not let others in easily as he went through some stuff in his childhood. Currently has a low number of people he “trusts” that can only be counted on ones fingers. -harem members actually have a personality and aren’t bland like so many other novels I read. -novel isnt very cliche other than the fact that a lot of people near him turn out to be op. But the reason they are actually makes sense unlike the others novels where mc picks up random girl that’s struggling in some weird way and WOAH WHO WOULDA THOUGHT SHE ACTUALLY HAS A SUPER INFINITY DIVINE HEAVENLY SOVEREIGN YIN YANG SPIRIT ROOT AND CONSTITUTION OF THE ANCIENT EVIL FIENDGODS AND ALSO SHES HEAVENLY EMPERORS DAUGHTER??!!!?!?. it makes sense cause though he hasn’t revealed it yet it’s obvious that most of the girls with him are due to some events mentioned in some of the earlier chapters. Mostly having to do with destiny(you’ll understand if you read it) - this could also be a con for some but you can simply skip if if you don’t like it as it wouldn’t matter much to the story. The story isn’t filled with lusty mc that bangs everyone and so far there haven’t been much smutty or $ex scenes ( whatever you wanna call it) but some people might like that so maybe you think this shouldn’t be on the PROS list but whatever. -mc does not back away from a challenge as he considers himself to be “extremely prideful” which leads him to be arrogant but it’s not the annoying kind. When he’s arrogant it’s funny to watch cause he embarrasses tf outta other people lol. Mc has only ran away from a battle twice but that’s only cause he wasn’t expecting it in the first place. The first one, though he was very weak at the time, he managed to counterattack the one that attacked him and swore he would someday kill him. The second one was already resolved by him. - mc isn’t stupid and not once has he put his loved in a a dangerous position cause of his actions. He also never lets someone get away from him. You know how mc in other novels fights a young master and young master gets defeated and shouts “ ILL BE BACK FOR REVENGE!!!!” While getting hauled away by his loyal bootlickers and mc just watches them leave like a total retard? Mc here did it a few times and that’s only because he was smart and noticed it would be disadvantage but finished what they started a few chapters later. - mc does not start as crippled trash ugly man with no talent. He was born and raised an orphan(don’t worry you won’t have to learn about his Chili’s hood by reading a lot of chapters) but was adopted into a family of some pretty noble people and become a very refined man. Looks normal at start but soon becomes one of the most handsome in the world( for those who don’t like normal looking mc) -not sure there are a few more but this is already too long and I doubt anyone would see this or especially read to the end. Cons: -sometimes the naming system is weird but it gets fixed in the later chapters. -author sometimes confuses names but that’s is also fixed in the later chapters. Lol that’s all I can think off. Anyway I’m waiting for more cause I finished all this in a day

It was a godly read but it’s been over a year since I have read this and I held hope for so long the author would come back but they never did really wish they had though and I’m pretty sure I asked them at some point over 10-12 months ago on their other novel if they would continue this and I’m pretty sure they said yeah
Loved the book just wish author didnt drop it. Hope will pick it back up one day.

If you accidentally stumbe across this book, then know you have serious luck just like me. Don't waste your time going through comments, just dive Right in and enjoy, because this is one of the best video games book ever written. It's just a pity that the author stopped writing 😢😭😭
Author, I know that there are some ups and down in this Novel but there are some of us who really liked it, so will you continue?? And Also I can't wait for the next Novel you'll write after blood warlocks

Amazing plot and world background each character ha s their own personality and isn’t one type of personality repeat. 100% recommend plot picks up after first 15 chapters. Author why did you stop updating and I hope you’ll start updating soon again. It’s my favourite story.

I am glad to find this book and I enjoyed it very much. I have read all the chapters that is released and I can barely contained myself for yelling for more chapters. I am very pleased how the story went and to be honest, I thought I would've got bored midway but I wasn't, I enjoy it every second. Keep up the good work and I hope the story won't end too short. I hope this book would have more than 1000+ chapters. It may be selfish but I can't help it.

I'm using voice to text so please forgive any mistakes and I'm lazy so I'm not proofreading. I absolutely love this story I haven't been reading since it first released but I've been dragged through a very large amount of it in a very short period Of time and then it went on hiatus which sucks but I understand authors other book Blood Warlock blew up and has done amazingly well from what I understand and have seen which I have also read that I'm a little bit behind on it at the moment cuz I tend to binge read so I like to let chapters build up however with this story I haven't been doing that and when all through stop releasing it hurt so I'm ecstatic to see new chapters and I look forward to hopefully this story blowing up as much as his other one has I really hope it does and I wish all through all the luck in the world not that I really think you need to look I think you're good enough writer that anything you do should do well

The novel is extremely good. A bit cliche but all webnovels are like that. Sorry author gonna drop the novel, I got bored with this genre and will change to gender-bender or female protagonist novel. I got bored reading male protagonist novels gonna switch for more stimuli. I really like the novel though. God bless you

I started with reading BloodWarlock and was recommended to read this and I must say im very glad I chose to read it because it is truly another great story done by Xietian that leaves you wanting more and more I couldn't wait to read the next chapter and was sad once I caught up and can't binge read anymore. I recommend this story to anyone!!!!
I liked the story at first until the MC's character did a complete 180. I stopped reading at that point. I just hope he doesn't do the same thing with 'Blood Warlock' cause I'm really enjoying that book.

overall I did enjoy this read but the author has basically abandoned this book for his other book that he is writing. in the past almost year he has only update with one chapter every 3 months so I don't recommend reading until he starts posting more continually to the story. I've even seen comments from his other book ask about updates on this book.

After 250+ chapters, I'm back with another review update that will probably help many of you decide whether or not to read this novel. 1) The first 50 chapters may have some minor grammatical errors (nothing too big). Beyond chapter 50, I've been trying to fix as many errors as possible but there might be a few (Yes, I'm a human being too. Surprise!). 2) All my chapters are above average, i. e. 1600 words or more. (2 chapters per day = +3200 words.) 3) This novel is NOT only about the virtual world. In the future there will be a lot of cultivation (Cultivation lovers, get on board! I promise an exciting ride!) 4) Bored of stupid protagonists who let their enemies go for reasons of " kindness"? This is your story then, you won't regret it! Believe me, if you read more than 100 chapters, you won't be able to stop. 5) What are you doing here? Quickly go read the novel!
