First things first...this is a great book and It's a pity that the book has gotten so many petty, non-related bad reviews because it def should be higher on everyone's list. The story follows our main character (A vampire) along with his Werewolf and Banshee siblings and tells the story of their struggle to carve out a peaceful home for themselves. Along the way it details their interactions with human and non-human entities in their small out of the way town all the while learning more about their inner demons. As it progresses we then start to see how fate and their actions have a ripple effect on not just the town but the wider forces who are trying to do the same in their own corners of the world. There's action, mystery, differing factions/ideologies and The characters are very relatable/human like... sometimes questioning themselves, love, loyalty, the worth of it all and their end goals. This is a bit like the series Grimm but more in depth and I'm excited to see where it goes. Hopefully the translator agrees as well.
