Have liked this story since the start but waited till now to see if it keeps up to its promising start. So far this has been one of the best novels, if not the best, on webnovel I have read in a long while. MC's character so far is one of the highlights of this novel who has a great mix of dominance and reasonableness. Another highlight is that the "revenge" starts being served since the start of the story even though the antagonist is at the "highest level" and readers don't have to wait thousand or more chapters for it to even start. The pacing of the story, world background and to top it all, the anticipation built so far, are all fantastic. Overall highly recommended. One doubt I have is how the story is going to be developed beyond the completion of revenge (which should not take very long going by the pace of the story) because MC was already at the highest levels of cultivation. There is a tiny indication about that but one can consider it as part of the anticipation built so far. Hopefully the story will not end at the revenge.

This is my first work so don't expect it to be as great as my second work » The Bloodline System I was still inexperienced when writing this so the quality and style might not be to your liking. Just don't get your hopes too high. I feel more confident in my second work so you can decide to check that out if you do not enjoy this one.

The writing is good and all, the world building isn't bad, characters description almost nonexistent. In the whole is good but there's something bugging me. Why he has to show all the steps to his revenge? It's not just explaining to make the MC seem more smart but to show a flashback of each step projected in the mind of the main antagonist. It would be better a back and forth between the two with sometimes the mc answering the villain his doubts with half answers leaving him to answer on his on or make questions to lead the villain on thinking.

I haven't read this book yet, but I am expecting it to be as good as your other current book called The Bloodline System so I'm going to give it 5 stars ahead of time :D

Why is this so highly rated? It's a joke of a story. I admit in the comments I was wrong as I thought he would forgive the wife who betrayed him but next chapter you find out he doesn't and it is still revenge etc. This is good as his conviction isn't changed so fcking easily. What has acc pissed me off is the nerf. If you wanted to nerf him make him recover slower than he did because what happened has to be the most stupid sht I have ever read and that's saying a lot. I am acc baffled at how stupid it was. He regained his powers to 1% of his max powers in one month? So all he has to do is wait rly, just wait till he regains more of his powers to have some backing to do what he wants. What does this supposedly ancient god-king do? Atk the celestial plain and fight the current god-king at 1%. Destroying all his veins, body, burning his sources etc and then giving them his blood that they can use to acc kill him. I am shocked absolutely mind blown at how stupid this was. How the acc fck is nobody else commented on any of this?

Good creativity reaps a good story, superb from the intro to the characters. The updates are on par the world background kinda keeps my head wobbly, but anyway the characters created are really outstanding yeah good story really good bravo.

I like how the MC stand up from the bottom and didn't cause any destruction because of wrath. It shows that the MC is in a very good mental state. Add the awesome plot that the author made. Keep it up, LL👍🤭

I'll give this a rate of 5 stars. First, the title was so unique and the story becomes more exciting. But I'm not against the violence even though sometimes it was part of the scene especially when it comes to fantasy, action, and adventure but this is quite fantastic and amazing. Keep up the good work author! I can learn so much about it your story especially when it come to fighting scenes.

I'm only on chapter 24 but I like were the story is going I have read hundreds of books and stories but this is one of the only ones that use a story line like this and so it a refreshing read that I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes

Alusec is an mc who is always a step ahead even after getting weakened. He made some stupid decisions due to anger and pain. A lot of people decided to drop the novel at that point. None of them understands what it means to be betrayed by the very person who is most dear to you. Anyways let's continue with the review, Alusec still uses the mistakes to his advantage and pulls a big one on the current god king. The same student who betrayed him. That's called being smart and Alusec doesn't lack that. I'll just advice you to read to the latest chapter. For those saying there's no solid world background. Read more before judging. The author doesn't like to info dump so a lot of information is released slowly. After all my yapping those that will read will read. It's an amazing novel and it's worth your time.

Author's getting some serious hate... most people who reviewed bad didn't even get to the latest chapters... Any way I'll say my piece. This novel is good and has a lot of potential, looks like the novel is getting nerfed just like the mc. Haters can kiss my ass... I like this novel.

Writing Quality: fine. Stability of Updates: okay. Story Development: Okay at start, but gets worse as time goes on. mc recovers some strength, lose it 2 - 3 chapters later cause someone over half a milion years old is too emotionaly unstable. Character Design: bad, all characters have no motivation what so ever for what they do and most of the feel like a bunch of 15 - 20 year olds who still don't know what the word being calm and clear minded means. I mean, it kinda breaks the imersion when a bunch of gods who lived for hundreds of thousands of years acts like some naive teenager who havn't seen the world. World Background: ok, nothing special. Would like more descriptions surrounding the world, so we know how it looks like. Comment: sorry for the rant. Think the novel has potential and was overall okay. Hope it will improve.

I think that this novel is underrated, but I do have two things that I think could be improved, im currently 12 chapters in but so far I don't like the mc as much as I want to, and I don't hate the antagonists enough to make things as satisfying as the could be, still good story but it has some unused potential
