The world background is frustrating and confusing. Readers will spend a lot of time wondering where the setting is (it’s not explained until pretty far into the story). The most frustrating thing about the story is the knock-offs of existing work. He releases The Halfling (The Hobbit) with Filbo Fabbins (Bilbo Baggins) as the main character. Every non-original song has the song title and lyrics altered in a way that’s disorienting and confusing. I guarantee you most of the readers googled the lyrics to see which song it is. It takes you out of the immersive experience. If you’re going to rip something off, you might as well be honest about it. I don’t know if the author is trying to avoid copyright strikes or whatever, but you can safely reference existing works as long as you properly cite it. Even using lyrics would be fine, it’s considered fair use. The language is stilted. You can tell the author speaks English as a second language. This is far from the worst story on Webnovel though. But…It often comes off as word salad. Especially the chapter titles (it looks like Mad Libs sometimes). The names of the MC and the supporting characters are awful - they’re not memorable in a literary sense. The other thing that bothers me is that this is a novel that requires payment. Given all of the problems with the story, I don’t think this rises to the level of a work requiring payment. I’m not trying to discourage the author. In fact, if he fixes what I suggested, I’d revise the rating to 4.5/5 stars. It’s an interesting premise and can be engaging.

First of all it started very good but as the story went on it started to get quite unrealistic and annoying, The MC is much more talented the other people yet he add a group of young people to his band? and all of them agree? they all move together? The MC adding them together was a mistake. In my opinion the story could've been the story would've been much more enjoyable if that didn't happen.

Aren't you going to continue with this novel? this novel is one of my favorites, do not abandon it :( ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I love the Synopsis of the novel but I have question will there be romance involved in the novel as my preference in the long run I can't just enjoy novel's which don't have romance.

The novel's got a pretty good concept and I'm finding it quite a read so far. The only thing weird about it is the names of places and culture it's depicting around the area MC lives in but that's just my personal opinion. Great piece of work and looking forward to more updates from author!

This review is written after having read most of the locked chapters that are out so far. The one thing that always stuck with me is that the author swore he wouldn’t let the quality drop after he monetized the chapters, but the funny thing is that he did. While the writing quality stayed the same, the amount of fillers increased SIGNIFICANTLY. The author even acknowledged that the latest chapter is bad, so I’m not wasting fast passes on it. I still really like this book, but its frustrating to wait for a new chapter only for it to be filler that you wouldn’t want to read anyways, I appreciate the author’s work and enjoy their book, but I wish there was more consistency in the content and its relevance.

I've been reading light novels and web novels for about a year now, but I only started using Webnovel site/app around 3 months ago. I used it to read fanfictions because I got tired with the "young master" stories, but I accidentally came across this novel 2 months ago and fell in love with it. I loved reading this novel so much, I just recently realized I haven't even rated it yet. This is, with all honesty, my favorite novel here. It's not as deep as the typical novels I read, the world background is not as complex, yet the simple and steadfast plot of the story satiates my hunger for novels. Thank you, Author. You deserve more credit.

A solid four - not a masterpiece, but it is magnificent. Just read it. It won't disappoint. The Pro, Tayaw, and his journey make a great, story, though some parts become somewhat questionable to borderline "ok," it still goes for a fantastic read that is somewhat immersive. The Con, sadly, there are a LOT of missed opportunities, which is fine, but there are so many possibilities that I do not want to spoil in regards to Tayaw and his prowess. Conclusion: I bought all the unlockables, do I regret it? Nah it was great enough to deserve that. p.s. As much as I want to tank this review, I'm keeping it unbiased. It's overall a great read, but I have qualms about my comments getting deleted. Just a bit of thought from a bored viewer, who is too invested in this novel.

Criminally underrated! One of my favorite slice of life novels here! If you want to relax and enjoy a casual read, then you would absolutely enjoy this!

if you are looking for a like character that has commen sense and don't get taken advantage of (especially opposite gender), this is the novel for you.. A great journey so far( chap156) and hopefully more to come,Thank you to the author.

I dont usually leave reviews, but i felt that i needed to after reading this. Honestly i was hooked after the first three chapters and enjoyed reading the book very much! I am looking forward to see in which direction the book proceeds in!
