I'm def having some problems with this. Ball tonight? Dress in one day? Thinking about screaming at people even though you already know you'll be moving? Getting a bit too ahead of herself for someone who didn't seem like that kind of character at first. Did the character change practically over night? I'd dislike to see it keep going down this road with a "realistic" world up till now but totally not realistic time frame, behaviour, or outcome, it's sad when this isn't even needed. Taking at least a few days to a week to train the girl how to behave like a noble before a debut would be smart, how the characters are currently acting is not smart.

This isthe first ever romance novel I've given 5 stars. Let this novel be a shining example of how romance should be told. You got the premise, you got the protagonist, someone who genuinelly is in a tricky and complex situation, The royalty aspects of the story, they are handled like how a real royal situation would occur. It's all believable here. Characters are crafted beautifully. Each is significantly different and memorable in their own ways. Emma's interactions with figures such as Michael and Adam are handled well. I've never seen a romance novel so amazingly executed, which I think deserves more 5 star reviews such as this one. Despite not reading romance myself often, I highly recommend this book to fans of fantasy romance, because this one does have that scale of unpredictability, leaving readers extremely curious on how it will all end. I could see this novel as the basis of actual TV series, that's how good this novel is. Continue your writing author, cause this is strong writing for the romance genre.
