So I’m just going to put this here and now, this has a drama tag, if you don’t like drama, don’t fucking read it. It’s as simple as that, there’s going to be drama in it and do you know why? It’s because I’m trying to write realistic characters and news flash, people are dramatic af. If they weren’t, then we wouldn’t have so much shit going on in the real world would we? I don’t like it, but I hate it even more when people complain about a story that has drama in it when it literally has a drama tag in the tags section! If that’s not dramatic in of itself then I don’t know what is.

I liked it a lot, it has a nice story and it has a very good development, the personalities of the characters that despite being few are great, the only thing I honestly didn’t like very much is the fact that it’s "Naruto" I mean it’s kind of out of the “Gotham” theme and even "Dc", take the fact that even for real Japan the name "Naruto" is kind of "ridiculous" and even worse if it is in America, personality is different from the "Naruto" we know. Its more a OC than Naruto we know.

Couple things here. This is not a Naruto Fanfic. The only thing has in common with Naruto is the name. Not even his powers. Overall the story is great. But it looks like Author dropped the fanfic so. Good to read while waiting for other novels or FF to update.

I love the book but it fustrated me a little because its not really naruto. its just another mc with the dame name. when i clicked this i was like, wow a realistic naruto but all i got was someone named naruto. I love the book but ot fustrated me a little because i didnt get what i thought i would get then i opened this book.

so this will be a brief summary why this novel feels more like a scam. in 30 chapters that I have read there is no power from naruto universe no chakra not even martial arts from there even narutos personality is grossly different than the OG. so only the names and looks are from naruto nothing else. as a mainly naruto fan I could confidently say I didn't enjoy this but DC wise its allright.
the writing quality is also not bad but kinda annoying with lots of flash backs in tense situations and repeated paragraphs in the same chapter.

Unrelated question, why do you chop up your chapters on this site? People put 15k words in a chapter to get into the rating,s beca so I know it's possible to write long ones. I'm confused as to why you would chop the chapters into 140 chapters instead of 46 long ones. The only reason I even read your stories on webnovel instead of FF is because of better interaction.
It probably has something to do with certain people on this site, hmm? I know that some people moan about not being able to read long chapters, and for the author to shorten them.

I genuinely enjoy how well-written the story is. I can picture this character from this other universe fitting in so well in a foreign universe so effectively. I have to give props to the author for keeping it consistent. I can read a story like this all day and never get bored by it. Easily trumps 99 percent of the fanfics written here with just op character being op for the sake of being op.

Frustration is the word, I'm on Ch 40 and mc naruto has nothing to do with naruto no ninja tech , no chakra, its like author is deceiving the naruto fans to read his fan fiction and its super frustrating to see this ,(author ) bastard why are you using name naruto , spare us and just use other name cause it will not give fucking difference to story and most absurd thing he is depending on a serum for boost at this moment I wanna curse you with all my heart 😡😡 he is f-ing Naruto😡😡😡😡😡😡

I only have 2 real problems, and they're more personal preference than critical, and therefore I cannot in good faith mar my otherwise boundless enjoyment when reading this, or the review I am writing. As a character that grows up in the slums of Gotham, Naruto acts exactly as you'd expect him to. Unlike 'happy-go-lucky' 'believe this!!' Naruto in Konoha, Gotham's Naruto is far more realistic to someone who has been dealing with all the bad elements of Gotham for years. Frankly, despite seeing many Naruto fanfictions, I quite like this change. Other than that, the story progresses well, with significant and realistic character development. Honestly, I'm very excited to see wherever else this story will go in the future.

I'd have to say at first I don't really like this novel that much at the beginning but the more it go on especially now with the young justice arc it's becoming better and better. I don't really like drama but at least this book made it a little bit bearable.
It has an interesting take of what would Naruto be like if he grew up in dc universe and instead of being every other fanfic, the author instead incorporate Naruto's power to DC to make it in universe when most fanfic took the lazy route and just slap Chakra or whatever powers the insert character have in there without that much thought or explanation. Sure it took way too long but at least it has a narrative reason. I'm interested how the author will add the classic rasengan and shadow clown jutsu or if the author will incorporate it at all.
It also has a balls to make a flawed Mc and not overpowered like most fanfic so the Mc actually has an interesting character development. Sure it can be quite annoying but at least the author make the Mc grow and it's better than what most fanfic Mcs are cause they're either creeps who collect women like Pokémon or complete sociopaths which makes me worried about the people who like to self insert themselves in these books.
Quite hypocritical that most people in these sites condemn and makes fun of young masters in xianxia and wuxia novels but act like one. Naruto is at least a normal dude with believable problems, flaws and relationship with the characters but of course it ain't perfect. I'm not really the fan of the drama between Batgirl and naruto as in can get quite annoying but it became better as of the latest chapter I'm reading. But I guess it's better that there slowly developing their relationship again. It also has a harem tag so I'm interested where that would go. I personally hope for supergirl, Batgirl, and ravager.
All in all It's good but it's not for everyone I guess as it took me quite long to enjoy this fanfic as the early chapters made me bored but if you want character development and a quite a faithful representation of the classic comic book characters then you'll like this fanfic. I for one is quite excited for the future chapters.

I like the story but the fights need a little work.. round house being everyone's go to attack is worrying cause it's almost as impractical as a drop kick, every fight I get the image that they're waiting to throw round house kicks to gain an advantage...

sometimes I wonder if the protagonist of the work is Naruto from the Naruto universe of ninjas, why has nothing to do with him, and the way he supposedly earns his kurama is that someone did tests with him in a forced laboratory and gave him that power to make him angry at everyone and attack everyone that even when naruto really turns into a bijuu
other than that the novel is really good, I recommend reading it

Probably one of my favourite fan fictions yet. The writing quality is amazing. Coherent and easy to understand. Story development is realistic and perfect. I like OP characters, but it gets boring eventually. One of the things the OG Naruto did not do was train Taijutsu as the main focus. But the rate he learns and how he develops from street fighter to gang Buster, to slightly weak sidekick to someone who can clap them two at a time. The design is good. All the redeeming features minus the stupidity. The updating stability is amazing but has also made me greedy for more. I want him to beat the shit out of Batman with pure martial arts. And the background is good as well. I like the small harem as well. As harem is a debatable subject and could make or break a story. The size seems decent. But Author, make sure you build up the relationships for more realistic purposes. Not like Pokemon.

It's very great read honestly. Proper fanfiction that show proper characters development and feelings between characters that I could believe. Story development is good and keep you intrested. And it's have enough of Naruto gimmicks that you could believe it's him and on the other hand wouldn't be cringed because... Well, ya know. Naruto is stupid, loud ****er and too trusting and good natured- yeah, that's more mature version. Honestly how I supposed to like original him anyway?
So I do recommend it whole-heartedly, but on the other hand I wouldn't read it myself... I don't want to read small harem in the DC-verse, because I am too greedy and wanted more girls....
It's very weird, small harem is great choice for more character development and storytelling - choice that I should support, but I am just too spoiled for that, heh.
