The title of this book gives you a pretty good, well spot on, idea of what you are getting into. If it tickes you in your special place then you will enjoy it. What the title doesn't cover is the absolute hilarity that the author comes up with. I can't read this around anyone because every couple of chapters there will be some situation that makes me laugh hard and loud. Not a good look in a quiet room. Only thing that could be better (and probably not worth a 5* but i dont gas) is the update/release schedule. Anyway, read it and enjoy, or don't and die lonely, sad, and murdered. Up to you I guess.

I'm sorry, but I have to rate this as 2 stars. It started off great so much so that I got excited reading it. It was great up until the MC gets to replace the soul of a so-called soon-to-be "True Immortal". Right at that part became the dumbest event I have encountered of all the cultivation novels I have read. The MC gets the body of an OP guy then gets to be paralyzed soon after then he gets thrown out to the ocean and gets his power sealed? I mean come on, what kind of Idiot would need this if you'll just give him a Golden Finger along the way. Its like he never needed the body anyway you can just give him the Golden Finger. Not to mention a soon to be "True Immortal" again gets his soul obliterated for such a stupid reason. After living so many years and after being betrayed you would think that he should have put some protection to his soul given his knowledge but I guess our dear Author never even tried to think of that. It's quite ridiculous really. Imagine some higher power put his soul in the OP cultivator then somehow inside it he was paralyzed? I dont get why the body needs to be paralyzed. Cause if its because of the Cultivation then he should have exploded not paralyzed. The author tried so hard to make it like a shocking turn of events but it just turned stupid in the end.

Maybe if this is your very first light novel, you might enjoy this: to me this is an easy pass. RR super hard with a stupid mc who is the king of the snowflakes. This author has other books that are pretty good, however this does not fit in that category. Plot armor was not used in a great way in this novel. The quality remains the same throughout, dumpster fire cliche waste of time.

To be honest it has a great summary and beginning. I don't think the book is bad... but personally I think it kind of fails to deliver after a certain time. I couldn't read beyond chapter 45, because it drags on for far too long. The MC gets dragged into one human made incident after another, even though he tries to be low key, it's really grating. As I said, I haven't read beyond chapter 45, so I could be wrong, but if the chapter names is to believed, then he might begin to level up at around chapter 100... a bit late if you ask me.

Meh juvenile comedy "oi yer a big bloke ain't ya" is not a comedy. Meh "magical realism", naming a system "goldfinger" and giving it a personality is meh, both it and MC are on the same level of stupidity just on different spectrums, one is naive retard, the other is a psycho retard. MC not being completely hopeless and dead inside after 2 years inside a disgusting stomach of a sea serpent is weird, he did neither explore the memories of the original nor became hopeless and cynical, instead he became a naive and childish retard. The kinda of trauma he should've had considering how mentally weak he is - is not just not compatible with how he acts. If you didn't read anything decent in a while you might as well read this average novel, if you read something good - just stay away. I don't know what i expected considering the name of the novel, but high rating is just misleading.

at some point the name playing just gets annoying and it is such a shame since both the mc and the story seemed nice and honestly i can't take the story seriously when the names keep switching themes between European and chines at some point it just get annoying

it's funny how the sentence can become "well, it is not impossible to not tell her" becomes "well, it is not impossible to tell her" is the authors english that bad or the translation done by google translate? cuz it can't possibly be done by a normal functional human, as the contex was so stranger forward. this had not hapoened just once. very dissapointed

this is ONLY based on the first 13 chapters i have read. not bad, nice and slow paced and takes the time to explain and build background etc. too bad the translation is only meh, jumps from past to present tense and mix them up, and some sentences are missing words. i would read only when i have nothing else to read, which i don't at the moment

its too much. too many different setups and cliches bunched up together for me to see it as logical and interesting. if you leave something unexplained it is way better for story quality and my sanity

Amazing story; perfect combination of Wuxia, Hunter and Comedy. Love the name puns in there, although I will say the earlier stages are a bit more slice of life as the MC isn't really cultivating seriously (but still gaining power)
