Don't waste your time.Overall very bad. Don't be fooled by the high rating I'm giving it, it is being brought up by update stability and world background.Good concept, if adapted from the Library of Heaven's Path. The main problem is with the actual writing. Whoever wrote this needed someone to tell them "Less is More". Every event is analysed within an inch of its life by the MC, at least two named bystanders, the onlookers, and the other person involved. About 1 thing happens every 3 chapters (a fight, a pill being made, a beast evolving, a conversation), and by the time you reach the end, you're just glad it's over, because any enjoyment has been sucked out by the unending descriptions.Also the MC is about as intelligent as a sea cucumber, so that doesn't help when he's meant to look like the smartest person in the room.All it does is make everyone around him look even more stupid than him, like pebbles, or maybe angry ants.And now imagine this length of review about everything that happens, but repeated 3 times from 4 different perspectives, and you'll understand why I hate this book.Don't waste your time.

Thought I wish there was more I think the translator did a good job

Negatives: 1. MC doesn't kill people even if they burn his house down(literally). He even tries to help the association head who is always humiliating him. Although his trying to help the association head coincidently brings him down but that's not his intention. 2. The world doesn't make much sense. For example, the association he works in is called Beast Appraisal Association. But they do everything like diagnosing beasts, beast appraising, emergency beast services and much more. 3.And there is also another Friar Association. Here, people form some sort of bonds so that they will gain some powers of the beasts. Any normal person at a high enough level will definitely join Friar Association so that they can be powerful. But here, even though it has many benefits, MC is the only one from his association who is also part of the Friar association. 4. Some Influential people feel that MC is a genius, but they just look on and utmost provide the bare minimum help for him. 5. Somehow, every sort of good monster (or beast) with a high-level bloodline stays with MC after the situation is over. 6. The entire point of this novel is face-slapping. 7. He doesn't use his time wisely. There is a competition with a very attractive prize and even he thinks it's hard to get the Number 1 position but still he goes to the association for beast diagnosis, travels a far enough distance to teach monsters. The only thought in my mind when I read this was: Can't it wait? Can't he take leave?

Haven't finished it yet but all around I love the world building and character development, the main character just takes his life as is and makes the best of a bad situation and I love those types of books, can't wait to finish the last 200 chapters but all around one of my favorites that ive read on here

Epic wish there was more the story should continue

story development is ok, but the question is, why do people get beasts? In the military, it would make sense, but something like beasts for "normal" people doesn't make sense, they gain no real advantages, only disadvantages(food cost, maintenance, etc). Also, why are beast appraisers so well perceived, wouldn't it make more sense to just mass-breed beasts so you already know pretty much every relevant info?

Ok, I’ll be honest. Everyone comes here not for some new story. We all know it’s gonna be some junk food copypasta of cliches. It was a pretty good story with that in mind… up until chapter 640 ish. Then it just became a terrible clusterf*** of mediocrity until an unsatisfying end. By late ch 500s any semblance of character development is gone. By ch 640s, there isn’t any more. Anyway, just know quality goes waaay down by ch 600 and it’s a horrible nobel by then.

A great book with careful plotting and a very realistic world sadly the end was disappointing and rushed to say the least. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I wish this one had more chapters, but it's an absolutely amazing story anyway, if you like this one maybe check out some other things remotely similiar like astral pet store after you finish this

Nothing groundbreaking. It's a fairly decent story about beast taming with a cheat. Main character is not offensive, so you won't get annoyed and drop the story because of that. Ending was a bit of a let down, if you're expecting good endings for webnovels in general(not just on this site) then you probably have not read enough.

Overall an excellent story! All though I do feel like the ending was a bit rushed, and I wish the author could continue a bit more![img=recommend][img=update]

The premise of the story was interesting. I loke yhe protagonist being so cautious and careful. I even enjoyed being introduced to new beasts and monsters, but the last 20 or so chapters really undermined the books positive traits. Cunning immortals became idiots. Events that'd normally take a chapter were glossed over in paragraphs. In the end, none of the important characters were useful or received closure, and we don't even have a real ending. Can you say UNSATISFIED?

I have read until chp 700+ I can’t take it anymore even i dumbed myself, as usual almost all the thing that makes this novel interesting fell apart near the end, most characters pretty similar that only the name can differentiate them, despite being immortal they are dumb af, the mc from a normal beast appraiser became a fighter as many other common plot. I still can’t get the full picture of the world, not enough distinction, pretty much only the name of places not how its look, what are the culture, and so on. And the author blantantly just skip any explaination regarding the beast, just put … and done, from this kind of thing you can see how much effort the author put on this novel. Pretty boring.

This is what I wrote in my reading list "Completed and read" about Museum of deadly beasts Tags: system, transmigration, pet beasts, taming, fighting, to some extend cultivation, no romance, completed This system is similar to the system of Library of heavens path. The transmigrated host gains the ability to get any information in form of a book in his mind if he touches a spirit beast. The system is called Museum of deadly beasts. The second function of it is the visitation hall. This is a special space where the host meets all kind of people and helps them with their troubles with their pet beasts. In return they also help him when he's in trouble and help him to collect beast samples for the museum. At the beginning I really saw the similarities to a library of heavens path but the more you read the more you see the differences. For example both MCs fake their master but in this novel it's way better executed. Also the story isn't repetitive at all in comparison to library of heavens path (my opinion). At chapter 597 I stopped for a while to stockpile and then binge read till the end (chapter 792). The 600er chapters are my favorite part of the story though that means in no way that the rest is bad. I just feel that the last 100 chapters were a bit rushed. It's not like the end of the novel was rushed or forced. It's just that some scenes and happenings (like fights) could haben been a bit more detailed and longer than they were. And for the last chapter... It's not like there's an open end but I need another chapter to just show the aftermath/future. On the other hand I feel pretty invested without the extra chapter and keep thinking about it so I guess it's a good thing? I can't decide whether to give 4 or 5 out of 5 points for the story so I guess I'm going to settle with 4.5. If you think the plot is interesting check it out :)

I know the ending in this novel is not that good to the point where the author rushed it, but really? 3.7 rating? this is a good novel that it deserves at least 4 stars in web novel standards! Bruh, there are more trash novels out there that have a good rating than these treasure among trashes.

Another novel that wasted my time… I have read it to the ending, well calling it an ending isn’ exactly right.. since there is no ending to speak of… The author just rushed the last 2 chapters and decided to not even end it at all… Instead of giving a nice review i’ here giving the worst i can give instead. This kind of authors should not write books at all since they don’ care about their readers. I don’t recommend this book, since i consider this a dropped novel. :/

Just finished the novel, I didn't think that I would do so but I ended up finishing it anyway. This novel is not the best but it isn't that bad either. I've seen a lot of bad reviews and I understand their point when they said this book is another cliche. It was really bad at the start, at least, in my opinion, it is. However, in the middle up to the last, it became a bit decent. Still not the best but it wasn't that horrible. Writing Quality: 3 stars - The quality is decent and acceptable. There aren't many typos or mistakes but I can't say it's perfect. They used shallow words and sometimes some words are used repeatedly and I dislike that. There are fillers, not sure if there are many because I can't remember perfectly but I'm sure there was and I also remember being annoyed because of it. Again, the writing is decent, it explains the thought properly, it is understandable, and there are barely any mistakes but it would have been better if there was more depth into it. Story Development: 3 Stars - The development of the story wasn't bad at all but it just reminds me of other novels which I dare not name. I wouldn't consider it slow and I wouldn't consider it too fast either. For this part, I just wanted to say that it's somewhat similar to those I've read, and I had hoped that there would be more originality in it. I'm not saying that it's copied because clearly, it isn't, but now that I've read a few novels with similar style and plot, I have been looking for something different. Overall, I don't think it's well done but the author's hard work should still be appreciated. Character Design: 2 Stars - I had to rate it two stars because I didn't really relate to the characters or I simply did not feel anything that would make me immersed with them. There isn't much depth to their personalities and one of the things that I dislike the most in novels like this is their lack of character description. Up until this point, I still have a vague impression of the protagonist. This is purely based on my opinion because I know someone out there prefers to not have much description of the characters so they are free to imagine how they are to look. However, I am not one of those people as I like it more if the character is described in a way that I can easily imagine their appearance. This helps me to have a fixed image of them in my mind, it makes it easier for me to see and feel the characters more. Updating Stability: 5 Stars - Not much to say about this one but I genuinely appreciate the constant update. I can be very impatient therefore I am happy with the updating stability of this novel. World Background: 2 Stars - I originally rated it 3 stars but I ended up changing it anyway. I don't hate it but I don't find it that likable too. Overall: 3 Stars I don't hate the novel, I don't like it that much but I low key enjoyed reading it. Again, this is purely based on my opinion.

I really liked the story, although the plot was a bit too predictable it was still a good read. The only downside is that the author began to speed up too much after the immortals' saga, for example it took MC 500 chapters to upgrade his breast from rank 1 to rank 5, yet the hardest ranks, eg 6,7,8,9 only took 300 in total.

a wonderful read been here since the beginning character development is follow able and satisfying story development leaves you wanting more and the world background is something to dream of.

I have just finished reading all chapters and here are my thoughts. This is one of the better translated xianxia novels on this platform. The story follows largely the standard xianxia story progression of an mc who transmigrates to a world, gets a system, becomes the strongest and saves the world. What is different is that in this Immortal world it is no longer possible for humans to become immortal and instead humans learned to contract beasts and get strength from that. As a result a new profession has appeared and that are beast appraisers. They have the job of forming contracts between human and beasts, identify beasts and their evolution method, help evolve beasts and help cure wounded beasts. The mc's system helps him become a competent beast appraiser and he is slowly becoming stronger. What the author did very well is to keep the reason behind why humans no longer can become immortal hidden, buy eventually it becomes known and eventually the mc gets involved with that story too. And to be honest it is a very good plot, I haven't seen anything similar in other stories so far. What I also appreciate that eventually there is an explanation for the system too. And for me one of the biggest positives of this novel is that all characters have background stories, motives and actions that fit the story. Whether it is enemies, cannon fodder, friends or allies it fits the story. And the main benefit is that for instance when the mc encounters the mandatory cannon fodder in the beginning it is not as annoying as usual because there is a story behind what happened to the mc and because there was a story behind it the events with the cannon fodder have repurcusions later on in the story. The only exception to this would be if you are an experienced xianxia reader than the mc is far too nice. He doesn't necessarily kill his enemies and generally tries to go for a solution with the least amount of killing. He does kill when necessary but the first kill out of anger happens after at least 100 chapters. I appreciate an mc like this because he is far more relatable to me, and you can let the mc grow into a person who has less problems with killing to prevent later problems. Unfortunately there are also some big negatives with the novel and they are all a result of that the novel is far shorter than it could and should have been. The first 500 chapters are normal and after that it becomes clear the story is winding down. The writing is still good to at least chapter 700-750, but after it becomes too rushed. It is as if the author heard after chapter 500 that he should wrap up the story and tried to tie up the story in a neat way but around chapter 700 discovered that he was not fast enough. The rush in the last 90 chapters affects the story telling significantly, all the world building is minimized to the bare minimum and all sub storylines that are not connected to the main storyline are no longer developed. That leaves a lot of open questions and unfinished storylines, and possibilities to develop the main character. Over all the end was a big disappointment and the only reason that I can give to still read it is that the reason behind why humans cannot become immortal anymore is well thought out and worth to discover. The second disappointment is that after solving the problem I would have liked to see the mc try to become an immortal and truly become the strongest a human can become.

Many of the problems MC has in book is because he doesn't kill his enemy and it's annoying. Untill Ch 210 he doesn't killed even a single person. Power system in the book is rubbish. Deference between strong and weak is a single rank 3 to 4 or 4 to 5. In short this story is a poor copy of library of heaven path and Astral Pet Store.
