I've only read 744 Chapters I hope that you go beyond 3,000 chapters as the story is rather nice, you build it up properly and explain things out even have some back story chapters. I find it rather enjoyable, when I read that comment I thought back to how long I've been reading this and subscribing for monthly reading privileges'. All in all I think I missed only one month in full 1299 coins and could only buy 10 ahead what a rough month that was. Realized it's been about a year that you've been writing this and keeping up the daily 2 chapters which is amazing honestly I hope you keep up the good work, I really love this. ^^/

this novel is somewhat like low budget LOHP, character development is bad, this character is ur typical MC who likes to give lecture just for showing off, very badly written plot like random people come to get face slapped then get anecdote from MC and they say "im sorry" that's it

sadly i can't give a negative rating. MC is stupid, naive, stupid, masochist, stupid, and did I mention stupid? Face-slap is excessive, and if you hate it the first few chapters, oh boy you're gonne hate the succeeding chapters more. Concept of the story is good, incredibly good actually, as I like pet stories but the author just wants face-slapping and tormenting the MC by making him so stupid he still works for the people who WANTS HIM GONE. BUT, if you like some of your veins to pop out of anger, then go ahead and read this garbage.

Faceslaps in every chapter!? Someone will kill you and you help him. The person who will kill you, is it fun? MC can behave very badly. Can kill, don't kill, let the enemy. Find more guys to chase and kill yourself. So stupid. So stupid MC. MC likes to help people, no problem, but helps enemies. You're kidding. Hahahaha, isn't it true, really???

It was a fun read.Though short the story is relatively well done, even if the seems somewhat rushed in the ending the overall story is written quite well.

This is a novel that charges forward at breakneck speed and let's nothing get in the way. The MC is very likable and I quite like the way he thinks. You're getting two chapters a day, so the story moves right along. along.

(1+3+2+5+2)/5=2.6 writing quality has gone down to make word count. story development is decent at the moment. if you can ignore all the filler and the different to say the same thing or repeat previous info. updates are a regular thing. world background is disappointing. once the story advances, all the previous levels get demoted rather than the new levels taking the story to the next level. it's pretty good for time pass. not that interesting otherwise.

This is well thought-out novel. the mc is intelligent and doesn't act recklessly unless he has too. You really get a feel for the world background and I personally appreciate the stable updates. all the characters have there own unique personalities that are great as well. And I glad conflicts don't drag on forever.

It was quite interesting at first but it became a lot more boring as it went on . The MC was faceslapping, typical everyday novel. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

I just finished last chapter (792). Overall a solid novel, recommended to check it out since it's quite original as well as mentioned in my other comments. Well, the last 150 or so chapters were somewhat meh, not in the cliche way as the beginnins ones, but for the reasons I state below. The threat basically came from just 2 antagonists (and last 6 chapters of the world's catastrophe). It's also a shame how little time and plot did author spare for Visitation Hall visitors, it's even less than Lord of the Mysteries. Each had pretty much one arc or even not an arc where they had some impact on the plot and that's it. Didn't even bother putting in some conversations with them to make more chapters, or increase their pets' power level which MC was capable of. He also stopped acting as curator outside the Visitation Hall (the main antagonists already knew he's the same person). But curator also stops being mentioned by other side characters as if he didn't exist. MC only mentions what he intends to do with the identity in the last 6 chapters (to basically make it secretive and elusive). Daojun is also kind of forgotten even by MC. Also I am not sure if the 6th disciple of Daojun was ever mentioned about what happened to him but I haven't seen him in RAWs. I was also somewhat disappointed when MC once ranking his pet to rank 8 said that his goal was not to beat the 9th rank immortal swallowing beast but just to find balance so that he can live in peace without worrying about dangers and threats. Even after a year of time skip, he still says phrases like "no need to bother since it doesn't target him". MC, really? But thankfully a great diviner "friend" divined a calamity, extinction of the world, and all things were to be annihilated. Regardless of whether they are people, immortals, ghosts, demons. So this MC had to act and try to resolve it to save all lives xD So the last 6 chapters are pretty much the final arc:) In my opinion the author could have expanded the story further into other worlds because the ground work and foundations were all there. Would be fun to watch him travel to magic world or something and still continue expanding his cheat (Visitation Hall) with new visitors from different worlds. There are not many true enemies (life-and-death) of MC in this novel, throughout the story there are pretty much just 3 main antagonists: Daojun's corpse disciple, blood-robed ancestor and immortal dan god. The rest of life-and-death threats come from some affiliated forces or the heaven and earth & swallowing beast itself. They pretty much threatened human lives' with their evil ways so MC stopped being a pacifist, he knew he had to get rid of them or they will get rd of him and his friends. As for the final chapter, I am not sure how to understand it and if anyone knows what happened in the last sentences exactly, do let me know. For now I'll leave it to my imagination.

Update chapter 594 RAW. Indeed, there seems to be other realms where either actual gods reside or immortal cultivators escaped to/ascended. They're afraid to step into Middle Earth continents due to the Immortal-devouring beast that eradicated cultivator era there and made the beast era rise. The Middle Earth continents is basically the world MC currently is in. Interesting, interesting. Also, we get to know much more about Daojun, the previous transmigrator who held MC's cheat.

Update chapter 438. Chapter 438. Let me say this first, MC and his Visitation Hall is just like The Fool above grey fog. Visitation Hall's previous master Daojun used chinese characters just like Gustav (?) in Lord of the Mysteries and it seems MC will be collecting what's left of Daojun just like The Fool was collecting the diary pages. Also, holy! MC went to show off his power to some buddhist sect that had many powerhouses enough to rival a couple of countries including the highest tier country mentioned so far. But he didn't expect to meet their ancestor, and the ancestor lead him to a guy named buddha, kind of founder of the sect, an immortal cultivator, who was alive for 4000 years and who lived when the world was still at the peak of qi immortal cultivation. MC wouldn't even stand a chance despite his overpowered cheat. In the end the old man told him that this old man will not live past today, and warned him to not touch immortal cultivation, Space dimension suddenly appeared and a claw reached out for that dude. What a rollercoaster, MC was like a frightened little duck horror filling his face because thanks to his cheat he knew what rank did this thing reach. And he came to the conclusion that this thing has something to do with the demise of all immortals. While this 4000year old guy there was simply hiding from it. Exhaustion of spirit energy in the world, while would lead to detoriation of cultivation path, it would not make the old immortal fogeys just disappear or die of old age. So far this was the second immortal he met, which confirms that they'd be able to live thousands of years despite lack of qi. Yes, this novel gets better and better. Who would have known it would be THIS good despite the trashy (at this point) beginning. Author plans the plot in advance and most things and characters have their reasons to appear. I haven't read such a good novel in a while, it's a mix of beast taming & xuanhuan & qi escaping from the world & "gray fog". But there's also sorcery, curses, demons, probably some gods too. I will probably read RAWs once I finish english translations. I am curious if it's like in Fantasy Simulator or Way of the Devil where some entity destroyed qi in this world/is currently occupying the world and hence made the humans living there unable to ascend and even cultivate immortality. Will see!

Update chapter 288. Uh, so this novel is actually of "spirit qi running out" genre, somewhat similar to some of the worlds from Fantasy Simulator. MC reincarnated into immortal (xuanhuan) world, but qi started to run out to the point that it almost went extinct so the world entered "modern times" era. Instead of immortals reigning supreme it's now the age of beastmasters so to speak, something like these pet novels but with feels and remnants of cultivators, their realms, artifacts. The sects pretty much died out at least from what they say right now. We will see tho. The novel gets better and better. I definitely recommend. The first chapters look super bad and cliche in comparison lol good thing I had nothing else to read and remembered this novel.

Chapter 249 update. This novel gets better and better! The first almost 200 chapters could be considered an arc, without much action, mostly beast appraising things and just helping others, taking disciples and face slapping. Visitation Hall (it's the same concept as The Fool above gray fog in LoM) was what kept my interest up for the most part but it was quite infrequent at the start, now we get to it every 20-30 chapters even. The novel picks up after chapter 200, the face slapping goes almost extinct so far, Visitators get some action, MC gets some action too. So far there has only been a mention of small (just a big city xD), intermediate (MC is in this kind of kingdom) and high kingdoms, as well as some immortals or deities ruins as well as demon cells. But at ch248 we have the first appearance of a sect, or rather, of some old taoist who is apparently from some sect for the first time. So I wonder if these immortals will actually be from sects. Didn't expect this novel to go sect way tbh. Will see how it goes

This is my update after chapter 131, I have read this novel when it was in trial and it was quite decent for the current standards. Now I came back to it and tbh it's stilla nice read due to the pacifist MC, it's a fresh breath when there are almost no fights up to ch131 but for others it might be boring. The simple story seems cliche in many places (faceslapping, predictable developments and reactions) and MC has an almost "all knowing" cheat but to my wonders it's still holding up. Has some unique elements too, like MC's disciples/followers and acquaintances - in this novel MC seems to have more friends than enemies which is rare. Also visitation hall is where the "action" gets more intensified - this is the concept taken from Lord of the Mysteries' "gray fog space". MC pulls various strong individuals and answers their questions/helps them resolve their problems if they bring enough "resources" for him. tl;dr the novel is nothing gamechanging but still worth giving a try as it has its unique elements not found in other novels and is quite comfy to read

the mc is transmigrator ,not surprising, and he got a museum of deadly beast which allow him to view stats of the beast he got into contact. also he could meet people from different places through visitation hall and he's a pacifist (not wrong but if to the point where he would only kill beast, monster not humans when humans always look for trouble with him. seems hypocrite and human supremacist to me) it's annoying it feels like disguise propaganda where he don't do anything "evil"(you know what I'm talking about) also it feels forced plot author made him unconsciously make mistakes and that mistake will become some plot.

this aint that bad as what the others say, face slapping isnt even that repeated much. It is only on early chapters to 60 chapters maybe. This is more like the Library thing novel. Better progression I should say. Events aaint repetitive. It may not be good as others, still a good read after a long serious novel or just read for fun(as we always do) 😁

This can be sumed up in a single sentence; brain dead face slapping. If face slapping can be called a plot, then yes it has a plot. You can clearly feel that the author just wrote this to feel good about himself because they're worthless in real life. I feel like the people who like this raw sewage are the same. The "story" is just a tool for the face slapping to happen. The MC's situation isn't neccessary to write a rags to riches story but it surely is neccessary to write the absurd amount of face slapping. And there are better ways to write face slapping. The face slapping in this "story" feels like a toddler beating up another toddler while telling himself that he's an adult. I bet if the author can write a "story" with just face slapping in it he'll enthusiastically do it. He'll probably even cream his pants. He's clearly just writing writing his fantasies and is publishing them as stories. The author is clearly a guy. Man, if this was a self insert fanfic I bet he'll be f*ck*ng every single woman he saw

LostEra

An interesting novel with some aspects that I was hoping to see in Chinese fantasy novels for a while. The story is about a guy who transmigrates into the body of an overworked and scammed beast appraiser. The story plays out in a world which once was inhabited by immortal cultivators but because of the disappearance of spirit energy humans could only continue a very watered down version of cultivation by making blood contracts with beasts and cultivate the contract to make themselves and their beasts stronger. The mc has a system that is called the museum of deadly beasts and so far it looks like it is his responsibility to record as many beasts, rare beasts and demon species as possible (beasts and rare beasts refer to beasts who can / are contracted while demons are beasts who cultivated intelligence and can no longer be contracted). We don't know why but looking at the events so far it has probably something to do with immortal cultivation and spirit energy. The mc has a personality that is rarely seen in Chinese fantasy novels. Most mc's in the genre have a kill or be killed mentality and combined with the dumb young masters who pull out the big guns for the slightest provocation this often results in boring endless fights which go on until the whole family / sect is exterminated storylines. Another thing you often see with these mc's is that they are greedy and only share good stuff with their inner circle, but sometimes even the inner circle will only be helped when the compensationis big enough. This mc is rather different and I don't know if the mc always was a friendly open person or that the system compels him to (I suspect the former) but this mc does things different. He tries to not humiliate people who go against him nor does he let himself be easily dragged into a fight. If things can be resolved in a quiet way than he usually chooses that route instead of letting the whole world know the mistakes of his opponent. There are off course situations where the opponent crosses a line and than all bets are off but generally he has very measured responses towards his opponents. And another thing that I appreciate is that even though some opponents are cannon fodder / dumb young masters there are also opponents who become friends and opponents who act not as cannon fodder / dumb young masters. And in general the opponents, including the cannon fodder / dumb young masters, are a lot more measured, which is refreshing. Not everything is great because although the mc is pretty well written not everything is great. Most of the time the plot armor is not that thick and it is eapecially admirable that the mc is not trying to completely rely on the system's help when appraising beasts but there are times when suddenly the plot armor becomes enormously thick for a few chapters, and there is one instance where it is so obvious that I can only conclude that the written had massive loss of inspiration and couldn't think of any other way of giving the mc these perks (the whole storyline of how he acquired the 4th edition of the beast merging scroll is one big plot armor storyline, I mean the mc already has the museum and his curator status but just after he reaches an high enough cultivation to start practicing beast merging he stumbles across a secret realm where he gets the long lost 4th edition of the beast merging scroll). It's not a big problem but for a story that in general does not rely on the usual tricks for novels of this genre when such a trick does appear it is more noticeable. So far the story is entertaining enough that I wait for the next release. But more important is that the story is good enough that the few things that I don't like do not influence my enjoyment of the novel too much
