Hey there, so far this novel is pretty awesome and I'm glad you went with 'draining blood -> more strength' route. Compared to your previous vampire novel this one seems much more interesting even though there are shorter chapters. Not that shorter chapters are a problem of course. Anyway, I'm going to go ahead and give you some feedback from what I've read so far. I'm not doing this to be an ass or anything, I just believe that this can improve the quality of your novel so far 😁 Anyways, the only issues which I have noticed so far is something that you can decide to deal with or not. It won't affect your novel in a bad way, but I believe it can improve upon it, and that is the MC's backstory and why he chose a vampire. So far all we really know (please correct me if i'm wrong 😭) is that he had an illness for 10 years, which is really quite brief. But the pretty big issue (In my opinion anyways) is that there isn't any explanation on why he chose to be a vampire and seems completely fine with killing people to satisfy his own hunger and grow stronger in the process. If it were the case that his transformation to a vampire has changed his thought processes about things like morality and what not, then I'd understand, but you haven't really said how it's changed him so I can only guess and make assumptions. Then we also don't know what his current goals are... he just seems to be killing people and drinking their blood for the sake of growing stronger with no real purpose in mind. Anyway, other than those two issues I think this new novel of yours has great potential and I can't wait to keep reading it! 😁 And once again, sorry if I sound like an ass, i'm just seriously enjoying your works 🤩
