I would say a harem would be more Then 2 lovers, one night stands wouldnt count towards it IMO

A harem is one relationship going multiple ways, depending on its sexual orientation. Though usually, the stereotypical harem is one male and 4+ females. Not to be confused with simple polygamy which doesn't scale as big as harems. A harem happens when one character is in a relationship involving multiple others, not to be mistaken with multiple separate lover-like relationships. It's just one big relationship. With the way I'm starting to see mc, and maybe understand him and his origins, I can't see him truly selflessly loving another without real in-depth character development. He's been through hell and back multiple times, the guy was literally tortured for years with methods that would've otherwise been fatal to the common man. So most of his interactions have been with criminals and people torturing him. He's known a lot more hate than love. That being said, to answer your initial question, I'd rather not have a harem, though I'm fine with small ones of two or three lovers if it can even be considered a harem at that point. Sorry for the long paragraph, I wasn't expecting to write so much, though I doubt you'll read this anyways, drop a comment and let me know what you think of what I've said in my comment. hmmm a harem to me is a relationship with multiple people at once who all know of each other but dont treat the others differently a harem to me is a bunch of people who all love one person and dont mind shareing(there are exceptions to the last part becouse sometimes they dont want to share but they exept it) that to me is a good harem if u want the shorter version there actually 3 types of harem 1:when you have a bunch of one knight stands and they dont know of each other (in my opinion worst type of harem) 2:a loving relationship with multiple girls be it big or small who all get showered from love equaly(to me me this is the best harem) 3:giving option to girls you truly love to join your harem and if they say no u dont bother them with the question and then you grow to the top and you can ask her again(this is the second best harem close behind the best harem in my opinion)

A harem is just having multiple lovers (girlfriends/wives) at the same time and the male Has the permission from whoever the first girl was to have more than just her, if you do a harem i suggest around 3-5 girls

don't do one night stands I found them boring and useless, you have a whole set anime waifu to explore but decide to write a one night stand with a random girl ...so yeah I don't see the point. To write smut ? Do a harem. I don't even understand the guys saying "no harem" like for real ?? What's the point since every single paring you could think of would bring hate lol

Right now three girls should be his girls and help him be sane or something. If u going add more, pls make sure it about feeling and benefit than one night stand
