I liked this novel very much when I started. The way the MC was growing into a hidden bigshot was very interesting. Unfortunately I dropped this novel at chapter 506 due to the incomplete chapters. The story no longer felt complete sue to the missing parts that kept repeating. I understand that the author wanted to protect his content against piracy. But tell us where we can find the full complete chapters at least. I will pick this novel back up once I find the missing content. Please understand that the only reason I dropped this novel is due to missing content and not because I find the novel boring. If anyone knows where to find the missing content pls reply under this comment.

It should be renamed as My Pushover system. It's a good story as well as bad. He is just a Pushover character. He is gutless, he wants to avoid trouble but the system give him no choice but to be nose picked by other characters. But overall story is not bad, if you can accept a Pushover main character.

The novel was pretty interesting until I reached around chapter 200 when the translation quality of the novel dropped suddenly. It became a machine translated novel with inconsistent names and repeated content. If the translation quality remains the same, I will probably drop this novel despite its interesting plot. If anyone has kept up with this novel, let me know if the translation quality improves at any point 👍

it was pretty good from the first 40 chapters i liked how well it was and things do get explained for why they are done in like the next chapter etc but after 40 chapters the translation threw itself off a cliff and became generic mtl standard.

This novel had a lot of potential, but choosing the last option every time isn't really the best choice. The novel became boring and repetitive after just a few chapters, and on top of that, it lacks any romance – it's just a simple robot. If he can't have a public girlfriend, what's the problem with having a private one? It's as if anything he does besides staying quiet will result in his death, all because of a bad experience from the first choice – it's a terrible plot. I'm on chapter 126 as I write this.

After 183 chapters is clear that this novel is just a boring cultivation novel, no romance, mc is like robot, i hate this type of character, just boring fights between sects .

Okay, just an update for fellow fans of this novel. The story got picked up by a comic publisher and now goes by "Don't play by Rules". (personal opinion: I hate this title, sounds like a 3 grader wrote it. You just had to add the 'the' and it would have been great but no...) Congratulations to the author (sucks that neither the author, translator or webnovel mentioned this). You can find the stories RAW version online somewhere (goes up to chapter 800~900 i think?) but it'll be about as good as a 1 to 1 google translation. Read at your own risk (for your eyes, the bad translation [text, idioms, grammar], etc.). cya!

Very interesting premise with a MC who is deathly afraid of trouble, reminiscent of Top Tier Providence. However, this novel does one better with an environment that forces the MC to act, instead of letting him hide out in a cave perpetually (such as in Top Tier Providence). Even though it has since been dropped by the translator, all of the good stuff was in the first ~225 chapters anyways. Worth a read.

This book is of A grade but still webnovel put it on hiatus and started translating other garbages...... Sigh......You must read this book as this is not your typical Cliché story. You will be surprised so many times that you will be fascinated by this book's potential.

We need more! This MC is hilarious and the system is unique compared to other stories. I have read up to chapter 230 and I can say it's one of my more favorite stories

It's to my surprise that I found this series has a "harem" tag. It surprises me, because although the MC is surrounded by many beautiful women, as of chapter 200+ he never gets involved romantically with them, and he sometimes even actively avoids them. Though the girls do get crushes on him eventually anyways, and some of the girl's personalities are typically tsundere, they don't cross the line to overly annoying. Because I like the MC, and because the story is written in a manner that feels like the author plans things ahead and there is foreshadowing, I find the series enjoyable anyways. Plotholes not withstanding, there's a lot I can put aside for a decently written book. I'm more invested in his kingdom building.

At chap 70 currently. Although there are some unexplainable things, such as how the MC obtained all the knowledge he has for his hobbies, but if you can ignore these plotholes, the series is an enjoyable read so far mostly because the MC keeps a level head most of the times. The story parodies a lot of the tropes you often see in other cultivation novels.

chapter 228 the only reason it's barely 4 stars is bcs of translation quality and stability of updates, which is just a 3 stars. First and foremost, this novel doesn't have many fight actions, especially at the beginning. It's all about MC being very cautious, low-key, dodging all the flags, and not offending some big bosses. Second, MC is by far one of the few protagonists that actually use their brains. When I said he is going full-length to not invite any trouble. He IS going full-length to not create any bad flags. He is a protagonist who actually uses his brain and not plot armor. Third, MC is dependent on his System to survive. So don't be surprised that he is going to obey the System's options to the tee. And no, the System doesn't talk. It's just that the MC has full trust in the System. Fourth, the world is actively going against the MC. Even the unlikeliest chance will happen such as offending that one grandpa who is secretly an expert or that one bandit who is backed by a secret organization. So the MC is pretty much unable to do anything because almost everything that any normal being would do will end up offending a strong enemy one way or another. And this is why the MC had to rely on the System. The System is the only thing that can inform him which decision is safe and which action will lead up to trouble. So no matter what the System will say, the MC will believe in it and follow its words. Because if he didn't. Either he is going to suffer hard, or he will die.
