MC can beat a few stages higher, but that it.. This novel title, "Binding to Geniuses to become Stronger" is exactly what this novel storyline is about.. MC will get stronger and stronger by binding himself with geniuses through the system.. As always, the system will reward MC for every mission quest.. Somehow, the author make most genius hide their name (ex: they do not introduce themselves when asking, and when MC ask other, they also don't tell him).. Well, MC need to know their name and meet them once (at least) to bind himself with genius through the system so, it understandable that the author won't let MC grow unlimited.. Plus, as you see, it only has 161 chapters, so kinda short.. The author might not have an idea how to expend his novel further..

Binding to Geniuses to Become Stronger is a story about Fang Lang, a transmigrator with below-average talent. Right before the Imperial Examination, he awakens a system that allows him to bind to various geniuses to get a myriad of benefits. Now, I definitely wasn't expecting a story of this quality to be a system novel, it's really good. There are some iffy parts that are erring the lines of nationalism/morality, which probably turned quite a few people off. The nationalism isn't that bad. Translation quality is pretty good. There isn't any obvious mistakes and it isn't overly repetitious. Furthermore it is very stable, and words don't randomly change. (4/5 stars) Story development is great. I'm going to be completely honest, I don't really like these types of stories where the main character is a pawn in various grand schemes and will inevitably save the world. However, the story is very good regardless. However, this story lacks meaningful breaks in between combat. It feels like it's just constant combat and cultivation throughout the story, and it becomes rather draining to binge chapters. The system itself is rather iffy, it changes the emotions of people he binds to so they have a sense a familiarity towards him. As you can tell from other reviews, many people find this questionable at best. It isn't too bad, there isn't actually any full-on romance at chapter 153, only hints of it. A few other people complain about nationalism, but it isn't as bad as they describe. It is basically anti-foreigner in a land with only one big dynasty. (i.e questions such as "should foreigners take up important positions") I'd like to give this 3.5 stars, but I can't, so I'll just round it up to 4. (4/5 stars) Character design is all right. Characters are relatively fleshed out, there hasn't been any meaningful arcs that fully flesh them out, but this novel seems to be somewhat slow in the first place, and I have only read to chapter 153, so it's alright. Main character is the classic old-school xianxia protagonist, defying heaven, fighting against people stronger than him, constantly pushing their limits, etc. It's pretty good, especially considering this a system novel. Antagonists aren't blatantly braindead, some are kind of stupid but it fits with their character. (i.e third prince) I do think the characters could do with some more fleshing out, I feel like the author started to flesh them out but it is extremely slow, so they seem somewhat 2d. I think this is my main problem with the novel so far. (3/5 stars) World background, like the rest of the story is pretty slow. It's pretty bland overall, there isn't anything that really sets it apart from other novels. The whole demon vs human setting has been used many times in other novels. Overall, this is a pretty good story. There isn't much nationalism contrary to many's beliefs, it's based on actual history. The system isn't blatantly overpowered either, and the story itself is decent. Whilst the world background is relatively bland and character design is somewhat 2d, it is far above the average novel on this site. I give this novel 3.8 stars out of 5.

Its a decent story - the characters have promise - but unlike the foolish review who called him racist character the character does have flaws in his development but none are so jarring as to break the story Basically hoping the author continues this story and develops Ni Wen's tale - and I hope he gets out of the trap of just introducing elements and speeding the story too fast - which tends to be a major flaw in most novels

This is a fantastic book. The characters feel real and full of life. The author does a great job of building suspense, many times making me want to continue reading as soon as the chapter ends.

It reminds me of FY from RI. He's used a technique called " Connection of Luck " and will benefits from the lucky encounter. Also there's a side effect, both of them will share a same amount luck and unfortunate situation.

AS OF CHAP 48 it's great honestly ,I've seen some of the people complaining about brainwashing but that's bs in my opinion ,the system installs a sense of familiarity in a person ,and that's it there more likely to talk to him and not kill him but that's it ,it doesn't make them love him or anything he has to work for that. plus the character of the mc is very nice as well he works hard,doesn't pick fights for no reasons ,is not jealous if geniuses thinking that they deserve their positions and most importantly when he decided to kill someone he did it without a care for the other guys position etc at the time where most authors would come up with a lame excuse for the other important character to escape after being injured ,and plot against the mc ,In this one the mc straight up decapitated him. which is always nice

This is the 3rd book from Li Hongtian, that I've read...I find that all of his books are truly enjoyable and contain much excitement. I loved reading about the main character's journey to become stronger...I recommend this book to people who love OP MC's and complete cheats. :D

FAN THEORY BASED TILL CHAPTER 134 AHEAD. SO IT CONTAINS SPOILERS . I made a fan theory for the plot. Does it seem logical if the emperor is somehow trapped in the demon realm and the 4th prince is acting as the emperor using some artifact and with the royal blood he can use the tang code as well. this theory also explains the ambigous conversation b/w Tang code and Tianhua. As well as the reason the 4 swords are needed and the emperor doesn't show his face.Plus there might be some opportunity hidden in saving the emperor which is why Xianhua thanked Jiang Chen or maybe it is due toh him saving her 10 years ago.

This is a subjective review after reading about 40 chapters. 4/5 for translation. Good flow, but needs a little more clarity. 4/5 for stability. My standards for this is pretty high so only 4. 4/5 story development. The development isn't too slow, but it may slow down in the future. 4/5 character design. So far the characters are built quite well, I hope the author wont get lazy. 3/5 world background. What do we actually even know about the world? Not much actually. Hopefully we get more as the story progresses. Now, I would like to address some things about other reviews claiming that the system brainwashes other people to like the MC, not quite true. They feel a sense of familiarity, and this sense of familiarity is logical, because of the connection between them, they feel as if they are "familiar" with the MC. Think of it as "something" smelling the same scent as the perfume you use so it's familiar to you, making you more favorable to that "something". The more introverted someone is, the more likely they are to feel close to someone familiar, and I assume the effects would be different for everyone. Another thing to note, the way that the novel is translated by the translators require a higher level of comprehension. We're all here for a good read, not a skim. If you find it hard to understand what's being said, go back and find the context, that will make it easier to understand. We have to be understanding with these translations, and have to take things with a grain of salt. No one is perfect, nitpicking the bad instead of appreciating the good is a really stressful way to live. I hope you guys see the brighter side of life instead of wallowing in the darkness. The way the author described his characters is good. And how the events happen and the fluidity of the scenes go is amazing.
