First off most if not all of the issues I have might be entirely because of the "translator"/editor. There is very poor grammar, spelling and entire sections of the raw missing. I have reached chapter 170 but have decided to drop it because of these issues. As far as character growth there is none so far. As far as world building their are minimal hints as it so far.

what a shame for a good novel to have a bad Translation

i previously wrote a review at how disappointed i was because after chapter 50 there were a ton of mistakes and a really good story was screwed im guessing it had to do with the translator. but after sticking with it for another 15-20 chapters it seems to be back on track!!!!

was loving it for the first 50 chapters then i dont know what happened but missing chapters items appearing out of nowhere with no explanation of where they came from etc. really disappointed.

A direct rip of other novels with a hint of Minecraft added. But that's not why I'm giving a bad review. Around chapter 60 the story starts skipping major events. Not sure if it's the author, translator, or Webnovel's fault, but the fact that you're making a premium novel that isn't even a complete translation or trying to rewrite it to make it readable when you do skip is insulting.

It is a very generic story with tons of plot armor. Everything from the title to the writing is very convenient for the protagonist. Not worth the read.

I've read 170+ chapters into this (not all on this site) so my review will be based on that. Before anything though, a warning: this story is not strictly a translation. I guess its more a rewrite than a straight translation. Not a very good one either. It misses and skips a lot of key events. Personally I thought the concept of the story was pretty interesting and found it relatively entertaining. I didn't have high expectations and was mostly looking for a fun read and I feel like I got that for the most part. Problem is that somewhere down the line, probably around 70+ chapters in... things start getting messy. At first I thought maybe it was something lost in the translation but the further it goes the more pronounced the issues. Then I checked out the raw version of the story with google translate to see if I could spot anything abnormal. I was surprised to find out that actually this "translation" skips a lot of chapters, a lot of events, encounters and some pretty important story milestones. Now if it stood as its own story, that's okay. Problem is that despite the translator changing so much of the story, they don't adjust it to cover up the changes. Like the MC will suddenly have an item or power with no explanation given as to where it came from or when he got it, it just appears. I assume because they were brought up in chapters that the translator left out. Anyway maybe it gets better in further chapters but personally I couldn't get over having so many "wait what?" moments that kept making me feel like I missed something because something was left out.

Stopped at Chapter 159. Idk what’s happening, but like 0 story development. It just happen as it goes. I just scroll through the story till stats appear or any interesting thing. So GGWP.

Honestly, The story starts oUt great and the Design of the world is great but the translation is so bad it ruins everything. this was going to be great but its so badly written.

Great potential and excellent creativity. The character design and story development are above average. However, the writing quality is mediocre at best! There are many times where the paragraph has contradictory ideas as well as misspelled words. My review is mainly based on the horrible translation, I'm sad to announce that I'm dropping it as I continuously get confused and infuriated by the writing quality. That's it goodbye. (I'm sorry for any writing mistakes I may have made in this review, and yes I know how contradictory it may be after reading my comment, but remember I'm writing this for a review, not as something I want everyone to read. Also english isn't my main language).

Dropped at chapter 173. The story randomly introduced a bunch of new items that were never mentioned before, and alice suddenly appeared and she had a charm bloodline. The mc suddenly had a massage chair and blueprints that were never mentioned before. Some sort of virtual training room was mentioned as if it had been in the story for dozens of chapters as well. I liked the story until all of this nonsense happened, which is the only reason I have given it such a high rating despite everything.

I'll only put 5 star at World background and 1 star for the rest. I gave this 5 star out of mercy. Really, the only good in this novel is the idea of this catacomb thing. Writing quality is bad, really bad. Story development? How can it be developed further if from the start the protagonist has that supposed to be hint prompts. Character design? typical MC. This rating is full of mercy already. I know that posting this review might triggered some readers, but this is what I truly think after reading it.

The novel started well... but after cap 50 the translator started cutting caps and writing new caps that didn't exist in raw... with that items and abilities appear out of nowhere, important events are not shown and the novel becomes a Total turmoil... I advise you to keep your distance from this horrible translation... I even advise you to read raw in the translator goggle because it will make more sense. A novel começou bem... mas depois do cap 50 o tradutor começou a cortar caps e redigir novos caps que não existiam na raw... com isso itens e habilidades surgem do nada, eventos importantes nao sao mostrados e a novel se torna uma baderna total... aconselho a manter distancia desta tradução horrível... ate mesmo aconselho ler a raw no goggle tradutor pois ela vai fazer mais sentido.

Initial chapters are hood and heading in the right direction but later the author is lagging a single scene in to 6-7 chapters which is kind of boring, So i dropped this novel.

I’m so happy the Translator is translating a subpar book like this rather than ruining an amazing book. If this translator wants to be an author they need to write their own book rather than ruining the books of other authors by adding original content!

I gave this book a solid chance. stopping just over 200 chapters in. I could no longer keep ignoring the blatant misuse of timing. and the MC just getting random powers with no explanation. the concept was good, but there is a huge disconnect between the MC and the timing of the world, what he is doing. and just randomly acquiring things that have never been mentioned and make him more OP to progress story

I can only say that a lot of things are missing, to the point of immediately dropping the novel. Repeat, repeat, suddenly having new stuff out of nowhere, oh, let's also skip that thing we hyped for 20 chapters.

Started our pretty good but the translation is clearly missing material. I don't know if chapters have been skipped but all the sudden the MC just has things or a new system is in place that came from no where. The chapters in the 200+ range also start doing the 10 chapters for one fight thing which makes the story start to drag.

First 100 chapters were absolutley great. but after 200-something i stoped reading; storry became ridiculus, childlich and borning. translation is kinda bad, but not terrible.

Plagiarism at its worst. It’s like the uploader can’t decide between being a mediocre translator or a terrible original writer. Translation quality isn’t good but I tried to overlook it because the story is fun to read. Then chapters with important story milestones start going missing, replaced by boring original chapters inconsistent with the earlier storyline. That, I tried to overlook too by google-translate-reading the few chapters from the original. Only to later be caught by the plot entirely deviating and made purely of ‘original’ content that are not only uninteresting but painful to read. Basically, it’s not a translation anymore but a completely different story with its first half stolen from someone else. Way to ruin the whole thing. I wish someone else would have just pick up this story and tranlate it instead of turning it into a garbage ‘original’ work.

At times it feels like we are missing entire chapters and things get brought up that weren’t mentioned before and we never even heard anything about the first regional channel competition after mc slept through it?(Time was hard to keep track) for thee days then lucky bags pop up with no explanation as well as multiple charm spells.

Good story, ruined by the translation quality. Also there are missing chapters (55,56,57) that unless you can find and read the raws; you’ll have to make due with what the “translator” has written, and they are pretty terrible (can definitely tell they are of two separate writing styles). Other than that, it has a good MC and Premise as well. But again, I reiterated, the struggle is real in some parts to read your way through!!

The author started a really interesting novel but he got lost on that stupid break. This is garbage now. Please rewrite this book. I really liked the premise

I don't know if I'm not paying attention when reading but things keep popping up in chapters that weren't even mentioned before. The MC would get skills, equipment or would interact with someone out of nowhere without any mention in the previous chapters. if it's not me alone experiencing this then this novel is a joke.

Overall it is a great story however i dont like Black hearted merchants which the charaCter is portrayed as. I also find after about 100 chapters it begins to be similar to a martial cultivation novel with defying the heavens, meditation and superiority complex Dont let my cRitical thoughts stop you though i urge anyone to Give it a try. the world building is great and is a whole different idea to the novels in here.
