This novel is honestly horrible… Every character is completely stupid and illogical, and attacks the MCs disiples’ for no reason. I stopped reading around chapter 19 cause i felt my brain cells disappearing. Dont read, much better Webnovels out there.

Utter trash. Feels like it was written/typed by a 9 year old. The plot holes are too many. The story is meh at most. The cultivation realms are just stupid.

this novel was really good when disciples actually had anything to do with gaining strength, at this point though you're lucky if you even hear about the disciples once every 20-30 chapters. Fight scenes are extremely boring it's really just him killing everyone in a few strikes at most and most the time it's really just one sword swing and the fights done .Between the wish fulfillment and the fact I have absolutely zero clue how the world truly looks and the lack of development of the mc makes it even more unbearable to read.

i just read few chapter and im sick of it the fking translation quality is is worser then mtl. i just dont get why webnovel greedy mfker are not doing anything about this. this is happen not just one novel but there a lot of novel with mess up translation quality. please fix it.

This is not a lv1 spam account like the others reviews thats just being mean and awful stop that: The story have a good concept but the translation is a mess not even google translate do this level of abomination. Now the story itself is not bad, its just that it is cultivation novel and if u read one all the others looks like the same thing, im not even sure why there are people talking about arrogance when the cultivation genre in general is about arrogance… The only problems that i have with this story is the translation and that he dont train his diciples a lot, he just jump around getting new diciples teaching them something like a simple technique and then jump for the next one getting the others forgotten. PD: He is not arrogant, well not in a cultivation novel level of arrogance as he have rights to see himself stronger and knowledgeable than others, after all he is getting knowledge from master of higher realm than all the others. He is merciles with “meanies” that we know if he didnt kill them they would search for revenge.

This is not a translation, but a "original" trash copy of the original. The names, storyline and cultivation ranks got messed up really bad... nascent soul is translated as law enforcement...

Well, it begins with the system of leveling up by gaining disciples. The system was described as not allowing the MC to cultivate because he had no talent. As of CH.162 the disciples have been forgotten or relegated to one sentence updates in passing. The MC has no use for his disciples as he can mysteriously cultivate. The entire power system in nonsensical with the MC either having the densest plot armor know to man or being able to defeat anyone with a higher cultivation level for no reason. I would not recommend this to anyone, unless the want a Xanxia steamroller MC with no development.

Honestly, I thought this Novel would be great and i had great expectations but it is literally trash. MC is arrogant and stupid. He is not even strongest yet he flaunts his strength and he is not even using his system properly to get strong. Character design or story development is also unstable coz Author keeps on changing cultivation level of side characters. mainly for me mob characters are so annoying. they do stupid brainless things that makes story forced.

...... This book goes from decent to bad to garbage in the span of 80 chapters. I was looking forward to a OP elder MC who did everything for his disciples cus he didn’t have to cultivate but it just turned into a generic cultivation novel with a system that the MC wastes by not really accepting any disciples with the excuse that he wants quality over quantity yet his second disciple has terrible cultivation talent. Then you have the self important image the MC has of himself where he just kills or maims anyone who offends him, which is almost everyone, and is not really kind to anyone. There is a lot more wrong with this book like how the translation quality gets worse the farther you read and the MC is not really OP after chapter 70 or 75 because he goes to a different region and the Powerful elders there are like 2 or 3 major realms more powerful than him and he basically just competes with their disciples......

Although uncreative in the department of World Background or Character Design, It seems like it will have a unique Story development, and the Translation Quality is well done. Hope this one gets translated at some point.

It starts off as something to kill time and possibly enjoy. sadly this falls off rather quickly and makes you wonder if they read their own work. The cultivation Levels are confusing and inconsistent. It also leaves gaps in the story or important stuff the author just forgot.

After chapter 50 something the story starts to take a bad decline when it comes to the world building and the character smh. The atory which statted off okay by sticking to the whole idea of getting stronger because of your students is now starting to turn into the famous just destory this place and that pace trail which is sad

I really wanted to like this book. the story started off really interesting, with a cool main character angle. But a few chapters in, the translation quality takes a huge nosedive, where I feel like I lose brain cells trying to read cave man grammar. The main premise of the mc being an elder type char, who recruits disciples seems to have been dropped, and I couldn't force myself to read far enough to see if the whole disciple thing ever gets revisited.

A new confusing cultivation system that doesn't make sense. The story could be really good but due to the horrible grammar or translation, it make it hard to read it.....like really hard...

The writing quality is so bad and I have the feeling it is only getting worse in the later chapters, I think even google fould translate that better. The story is okay, nothing new but nothing really bad, character is okay too, uodate stability isn't, yeah if you can ignore really bad grammar(mtl level) you can read it

Very dissapointing work here. The cultivation ranks/realms make no sense. They are in a part of their world where the highest tier is 2 realms beyond the MC, yet there are supposedly dozens of 20-yr olds with the realm. How could they be stuck at that threshold? Even if we ignore this aspect, the worst about the story is the idiocy of interactions or supposed conflict points the author crafts. The lowest disciples can scold the Sect Master, someone at the highest realm and a sword cultivator. Sect Elders try to kill the disciples of their own sect. Forget that, Sect Elders try to openly kill the disciples of powerhouses even while knowing the consequences. Forget that; we have a sect elder of a clan that was wiped out. That clan's highest realm was someone at the Golden Core, yet they were related to someone at the Sword Sect that was 2 tiers higher. Related? I mean it was a brother. The author's failings are that they want to create an MC who is OP, but then immediately forget and have people disrespect his abilities. This problem is duo-fold: first, it means that this story will be one where the author keeps propping up idiots to challenge the MC due to one reason or the other. The basis for their existence will be nonsensical. The worst aspect however, is the fact that the MC cannot realize what their own novel means. It does not matter whether the Sect rules say one cannot slaughter another in the sect so you can mouth off. So long as one is at a higher realm - to say nothing of the Godly realms we have seen so far - the one at the lower realm will be respectful. Even in cases where you are dealing with someone from a 'big background' the respect will always be there sub-consciously. How can some Golden Core disciple openly talk about an Elder, even going so far as to speak their name? Basically, the greatest weakness of the author is that they do not understand how a culture is tied to the world. It is a fatal weakness that cannot be resolved.

What happen to this novel? I thought the title says the mc need to take a disciple to advance his cultivation? What now? It became a typical cultivation novel where the mc locked himself inside his house and try to breakthrough his realm. The system quest about taking high leveld disciple suddenly gone. Even his old disciple suddenly gone and never mention again. Even though they are devoted to him since he take them as his disciple. the story suddenly turn bad for me.
