This whole outside-the-game segment is not great. MC doesn't act like MC should (given his backstory), nor how he's been shown to act in this story already (with regards to Clara). Was it explained at all why the MC felt the need to go cultivate in the woods rather than his room? And if that was the purpose, it doesn't seem he ever did it. And this former cultivation bigshot is just allowing himself to be pushed around, ...why? And why would we want to read that?
