"I have never been the love rival. However my sister once was." Marcus intentionally said. 

He couldn't handle the chilly gaze from Aiden so he made his sister his shield. 

Aiden raised his brow but didn't say anything. He already heard rumours that Meredith is a lesbian. So, the rumor is true. 

"I will leave Anna to you, Mr. Fletcher. As her kind neighbor, please take care of her." Marcus said. 

He has no aversion towards Aiden like Allen and others. As Anna's friend, he only wants her to be happy. 

Aiden was slightly surprised but nodded his head and took her into his arms after Marcus separated Anna from his sister. 

Then, he princess carried her into the elevator and didn't forget to say thank you.
