Interesting take on the world of organized crime and romance within the gangs of the east coast. The way everything is described seems almost everything lives and breathes. I know not everyone's a big fan of violence, but even that is incredibly graphic to the point where one can feel the actual dreadful sensations.. which is a good thing if we're to set things up for a realistic story revolving the mafia. The pacing is just right that the story develops fast enough for the readers to understand how this magnificent plot is being presented.. not much dialogue in the beginning.. but more well constructed and detailed explanations for viewers to understand the complexity of what is really going on. Overall, the quality of this work is brilliantly done. The author's skill in storytelling has great potential.. and is arguably one of the better ones I've seen in this platform. Great job, author-sensei! Keep updating and inspiring your readers!

Fantastic romance novel in a very dark world 😍😍 If you are someone willing to witness a bit of gore and doesn't mind complex and fluctuating emotions along with a bit of fun elements where you're constantly on edge to know what's next, this romance thriller would definitely be what you need 😉 This book gives a good view of the complexity of relationships and mind games played in the world of people struggling for power in organized crime. This story speaks of a ruthless mafia leader of a clan for whom everyone of his family and ally is nothing a but a pawn in his game to attain the ultimate power in the underworld. It also speaks of women struggling in this complex web of lies woven by the ones they rely on, a girl who struggles to attain the freedom far from the dark world she's born into, a boy whose only goal in life was to destroy everyone who threw him in the dark world and their comolex relationship with their loved ones and protecting them. Initially I was hoping to see the way the organized crime world works in the dark and that's what exited me to read this book. I was expecting to see how the darkhorses were formed, how Salvatore destroyed Alessandro, the work done by Darkhorses (Santiago, Cullum, Nash and Killian) for the King and for themselves in the shadow, but was disappointed a little when they were not even mentioned, yet I understand the reason for those as the author's intention was to write a dark romance between two broken souls in this dark world. But still I'm hoping to see a book in Salvatore, the enticing enigma in the book, preferably from his days with Lucian protecting him, to Salvatore feigning ignorance till he strikes Alessandro with all the conspiracy and not just his love life with Alicia. Overall it's a book worth my time and very happy that I didn't miss it. Thank you dear Author for such an amazing book and great characters ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

I enjoyed it so much.The plot wasn't really focused on all the mafia stuff (that's a positive point for me), When we just started to speculate about the Lima syndrome and Stockholm syndrome, the very interactive author of this book gave us an out of it and gave our leads a new beginning and their romance will give you sugar coma at time, make you cringe at others and sometimes makes you crave a shower since you might not have a partner to quench the thirst they ignited in you 😜. this is a small note about the writing errors with the pronouns, you will notice them but they will not take away from your reading experience, the whole story has been gripping and quite enjoyable. Hats off dear author 👏👏 One more thing, I really didn't think Santiago was that bad way from the start.

I loved this story from start to finish, it was very thriller and romantic at the same time. I wish we would know more what happened with some of the characters, like Emmanuel and Romeo, but all in all it was just great. I cried a lot some times, laughed a lot as well, and now I'm all fuzzy inside at the end. Thank you author! 🥰

you have to read this novel guys. The writing quality is insane and the author is also very knowledgeable about the circumstances in gang families and stuff like that so you know that the author is putting in a lot of effort into this. The author is clearly experienced as well so you can expect some quality plot and scenes as well as characters. The lead characters are not some goody two shoes people who are sweet and innocent and are quiet the opposite actually but that is what makes the characters as well as their relationships with each other very interesting . Really liked how you explained the mafia's organization early on usually when I come across a term I don't know anything about google it. Your characters are well written and the story development keeps readers interested. There are typing errors here and there but don't take away from the story much (haven't had to re-read sentences a few times till I get it). Never have I read a dark love story. What hooks me up to the book is the mysterious past attached to all the characters and how nicely detailed they are. The world setting is nice and it is actually a gray novel. Although the protagonist is negative he still has some taboos. I recommend this book to everyone. The only thing I hope for the author is to correct the grammatical aspect of her writing. The story has just started and I like it. Hope to see it grow further.

The first time I read the synopsis it reminds me of a k-drama that I currently watch lol. When I read the story it turns out to be a much more interesting story.
