When I saw people say they had favorite books, books that originated from this app, I thought that it was pure insanity…That was until I found Garden of the Abyss. This novel is not only my favorite on this app, but it is quite possibly one of my all time favorites. The immersion, characters, and plot are all peak. Every arc so far has been amazing, especially Purgatory. The author blends fantasy and horror splendidly. I would often find myself rooting for the heroes and then the villains because their causes resonated with me. Garden was my light when I was in a dark place as cringe as it sounds. When I was feeling down I could always come back for a reread, and not get bored. I'm here now for that exact reason and found it crazy that I have not written a review, but hey, better late than never right. I know that this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

Honestly .. .I'm jealous of how amazing the author writes. From his descriptions to the story in general. I'm a huge fan of reincarnation stories but this could very well take the cake. Heck, I'd love to watch it as an anime!

One word: AMAZING. The imagery was so compeling. The way you wrote your prologue makes a reader want to carry on reading. It is truly captivating. I love that this is a dark isekai because most of the Insekai I come across are light so this was quite interesting to read. Of course, I only read a few of the chapters since there's is so many. I also love Ren's character. He is a NEET who has to now live the oppostie way of how he lived beforesince he is out in the open with many life threatening encounters. I loved that he had to work hard to become stronger and that it was not easy. That made the story more realistic and not rushed. Overall, great job. P.S. I've added this story to my library.

So far I have gotten to chapter 37 and it has been a journey so far, I would say if you are truly looking for a unique Isekai that goes far and beyond this one is perfect. The main character is easily attached to, even the side the characters all have presented themselves as natural players, the world just unfolds in front of you presenting you with even simple things making you enveloped in everything. I truly only hope the best for Ren in his long journey ahead. The world sucks you in the more you press on, it is almost not even an isekai at this point to me, it's a whole nother world that is hardly kind to its characters, it certainly it looking for people to sink or swim in its intense environment, your only kindness and compassion come from those who Ren meets along the way.

Pretty good so far. I’ve never been a fan of the isekai fan but this is still good spin on the concept. For the most part it’s been pretty interesting and hopefully it continues to be interesting.

Hmm, This novel wonderful, but it doesn't suit my taste, but it is great that i would put it in my list of favorite novels. But what I like in your novel the most, was when the argonaut raided the althaus state or mansion, I love on how you put details that made me imagine on what really happened, but sadly it was too fast, I didn't get to enjoy or to see the suffering of the servants in the mansion, but althaus gets the worst fate so much suffering and such traumatizing event have happened to his servants, such a scary experience but I want to see more.. but it would a false hope to hope that you will add more of it in the arc, but hopefully I would get to read more of it in the future, hopefully... And yes your side characters/characters, such a splended work they have such a wonderful personalities, I like them hope I could meet some crazy characters, I could put some of my reviews on the characters but they're quite many so I'll pick only ren to review on. ren is such a lame character I hate him and i love him, his such a well done Character that made me hate him, his naive a fool and a trustful person and a lustful person an awkward Character that made it hard for me to read his interactions with other characters, but his a great character that can be easily manipulated and easily changeable, that he put so much trust on a girl that summoned him that easily betrayed him, his such a fool that I like him, the girls action made him distrustful of other people, hence his such a changeable and easily manipulated, his such a fool that he trusted a girl that summoned him into this otherworld, and I don't want to spoil other readers so I'll stop here, but I get it that his a manipulatable person it happened alot in the real world, so his a nice character his such a normal person I like him. The story so far is great but the development of the story is fast it made me bored of reading it cause things happened fast, but for other readers the story has a normal a phase of development, but for me it's fast, but I saw nothing wrong in the story so far. For the the writing quality I don't know, I've never seen some wrong spellings or typos, English is not my first language after all, and the updates of chapters is fast I like it. I'll end my review here I can write more but I think this is enough.

It has everything a story needs in my opinion. Good Characters, world-building, an amazing plot, and character development. Not to mention the authors writing style is simply enjoyable.

Right away you can tell this story is a departure from most from the isekai genre, which is oversaturated with blatantly overpowered characters. The MC from the get-go is shown to be kind of dorky, dense, and overall not much to show for. Something like this lets you watch and wait as he progresses through these obstacles to become a better, stronger person.

Good start! I’m really hoping the author posts more, but the chapters posted so far have been interested and I definitely see potential here. The main character is funny, though I do hope he gets some cool moments and doesn’t remain this weak, but I guess that’s kind of the point for now? Without spoiling, the story does show a bit of its dark side pretty early on, hoping to see more of that.

I can clearly see the author devotion in the book. It's extremely interesting and captivating. I give it full points because I see the high potential in it.

(Writing this about five chapters in) The prologue starts off mysterious and overall intriguing, making me want to continue onto the next chapter right away. In terms of the writing quality, it is highly-detailed and immersive; lending an smooth visualization of the world the characters are in. The characters themselves are interesting, human in the fact that they are flawed.

Loved the story, the first part is really interesting and made me feel giddy and excited. I see so much potential in the novel and as well as the author. I found some sentences that me laugh and made me feel excited. And I really love the Isekai genre! Made me totally hook. The writing quality is excellent and the plot is superb! Based and redpilled. I loved the part when the characters did the thing and I was like "whaa that's so cool!!!" because it was just so so cool!!! I really loved how it explored themes too! Overall great story, can't wait to read more!!

This is truly promising, I loved how the author used 1st person pov on this one, it felts like being inside the novel itself. If ya guys liked to read in 1st person pov, then give this one a try!

First of all, this author is certainly not a newbie to the concept of writing. From the fluent grammar construction to the perfectly-paced development of the story, this is indeed a must-read. The prologue is captivating and from then on, the rest of the story is totally well-written. Author did a good job on this one. Remarkable!

This is billed as a dark psychological fantasy isekai, which is while not rare is also not common. As usual for me, the thing that had me scrolling down to read more was the light tone and excellent English composition. There is a balance of description and dialogue in the writing style of the author that is not wearying to the eyes. And the characterization is painted with a touch more deftness than most writers on this site. Which, kudos. That’s seriously difficult to do. The gory prologue is a counterpoint to the humorous chapters that come next, and adds tension to a novel that starts off as a typical hero summoning isekai. The pacing clips along nicely, and the action while not precisely riveting is definitely very far from dull. Added this one to my library. Author, you're an inspiration. Looking forward to more of your work. Fight on!

Any stories that can dip into dark places are a must for me and this is one of those. At first, I kind of doubted the "dark" tag on it, but once you get into a certain chapter near the start, you start to see it. I think this one has a lot of potential, it's just starting up--so there are a lot of places it could go from here, I recommend it.

Another isekai, but different! This time the mc is aware of isekai-shenanigans but isn't rewarded with completely over-the-top powers like in most cases, which I like for a change. It seems to be a bit of a slow-burn so far, keeping that in mind, but there has been some action already.

I love my Isekai; However, this was totally different from the norm, the author portrays the story in such a way that you're drawn in and before you know it you're already reading the next chapter! The writing quality was excellent! The sentence structure was top notch and the wording is easy to understand. They're also talented with imagery which made the chapters captivating and fun to read. Despite me not knowing much about Ren or Adelaide yet I love them so freaking much! Giving the reader little to no information about a character is a great way to draw them in as they're willing to fill in the blanks. Conclusion: A talented writer with a twist on the Isekai genre. I can't wait to read more and I'll definitely be looking out for the next chapter.

(Making this as of chapter 4) So far, the two characters introduced are compelling, with the MC himself being kind of relatable while the heroine is mysterious. In that way, this is kind of a mystery-fantasy to me.
