~30~ Chapters review. Why should you start reading this book? Because it's great of course! More seriously, I've read the other books of our dear author, so here is what I can tell you: - Author knows what he is doing, it's not his first shot. - Author knows how to write a novel in a more than DECENT ENGLISH and his writing is FLUID, things that unfortunately very few webnovels can boast about, especially in early chapters - Over the last few years, author has proven that he was capable of publishing multiple chapters daily. He won't disappear or go on a 6-months hiatus. - 1chap/day will probably increase in the near future after the author finishes one of his other books. If you like eastern fantasy, give a try to his other books, they are great, not flawless but they will entertain you! Now, what about THIS novel? I had some reservations about the 'system' tag because I find that systems in novels more often than not remove agency from the mc, make his growth unnatural and authors don't know how to balance that later in the story. So I'm relieved that this is a 'light system' so far, it is not some godlike entity granting op bonus only to our mc. Mixing evolution, system, apocalypse, and cultivation is a breath of fresh air! I hope author will find the right balance throughout the novel. It reminds me of 'The Oracle Paths' a little bit, but the two novels are still very different. Characters are compelling, no major flaw there so far. I don't think there will be any harem. I hope author will introduce more side characters not existing only through our mc, the very best novels also shine thanks to their original side characters, I know that it's sometimes hard to balance as the story still has to focus on one mc. I wish that our mc will continue to grow differently compared to the mcs from the author's other books, we readers like variations in our characters' personality. Overall this has been a very enjoyable 30 chapters read, I recommend everyone to give it a try, you won't regret it! This novel has the potential for top 10, I'm certain of it. PS: I hope Dyon can work faster, Dimensional Descent also needs 3 chapters a day!

Started with a different work of the author's. Subtle recommendation for RMW. Jumped to DD. Binged the whole story within a few hours. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I recommend someone else to do the same? Also, yes. Will you enjoy reading an author bemoan the consequences of his success? I did. Will contribute to his suff- *cough* *cough* success? Yes. Story has a great MC. World slowing being built, and is leaving very realistic, yet fantastic situations to take place. Supporting cast is having foundation slowly being set, but not a whole lot is being told or described about them besides a little about his best friend and the female lead. Author has an awesome portfolio to show his character writing, so if nothing else, the interactions between characters will draw you in. Not a lot of story written so far, but I look forward to his continued success. Give it about 5 chapters if you aren't feeling sure after the first. Respect the Game. Persist to the End.

In all my time, I’ve never quite read a book like this. So many books overpromise and flood there stories with far too many genres and tags that character or world developement ends up severely lacking. Not here. This is the only book I have ever read to be able to seamlessly and cohesively string together apocalypse, dungeons, clans, abilities, and steady developement etc and still have an amazingly gripping storyline. The MC is lovestricken but still has the readers rooting for him, and still presents a highly admirable and powerful persona. The ideas the author presents ARE NOT GENERIC. I feel like I speak for everyone when I say we see far too many dungeon and apacolypse stories that all seem poorly thought out and borderline plagiarism on this app. Its like a breath of fresh air to see romance and apocalypse and dungeons presented in a way that I have yet to see anywhere else at such a high level. Author all I can say is thank you and keep up the incredible work. ;) P.S. the only reason for not having a full 5 star review is that we are still discovering the world and therefore not all has been revealed. I also feel like if I’m more honest and realistic the book will gain more traction than with shameless and reasonless 5 star reviews.

I want to read for of the book but after 57 chapters it's locked behind a pay wall and I'm not sure I want to spend money to buy access to 2000+ more chapters.

I gave up on this novel the moment the MC wanted to change his fate/destiny and even bring his father back to life. In my opinion, the plot no longer mattered in chapters 2000s

Yeah it very good, MC is just constantly being glazed by author so much it overshadows the story.

even though there are info dumps here and there, the overall story is awesome. the romance seems real for the most of the part, or atleast the author tried to make it real by making the couple hurt each other and stuff. but the romance is more like obsession here. the Mc is infuriating sometimes, but ig that's how the author wants us to see him. Will definitely recommend to anyone who likes well developed worlds

One of the tropes in novels that I hate is jumping from one events or arcs after another. Not making use of time skips so that the MC can rest, train or consolidate their sudden power ups. Starting from the beginning: MC and gang reached Royal Blue Fort, then MC and FMC went to MC's home's basement, then fought Brazinger family, then on the way back fought a giant octupus. Then when they made it back to the Fort, they were forced to escape while being attacked by soldiers. MC is forced to separate with FMC. MC joined the Slayer Legion, kidnapped by a higher-up, forced to join a tournament, then another tournament, then went into a Zone. After clearing it, went into another to find FMC.... The pattern just continues reaching the 2000s chapter. The rare moments that time skips does happen are when the MC is in a coma. It's like the plot doesn't progress if the MC is in a coma.

75 chapter review both the mc and fmc are too annoying one is a blind simp, why is it so hard for him to ask questions and latter is a bipolar tsundere who gives away con artist vibe. till now the plot is progressing smoothly but, man! the romance side is too tiresome to read. their conversation have nothing in them, one is hiding her secrets, barely expressing her thoughts and another one is extreme simp who loves to give away every bit of information about him to other. Even writer's explanation on MC's actions just feels like some random excuses. don't know for how long this will gonna continue. But I'm hoping I won't have to endure it for long chapters.

I'm in chapter 1700s right now, and the only thing I don't like is the MC's luck with organizations. It becomes predictable and frustrating for me because the author introduces a lot of new characters, explains their backgrounds, expands the organization and gives them more depth, introduces an event only for it to be interrupted by a third party, everyone hates the MC, MC causes trouble, and finally leaves the organization. The newly introduced characters will only show up in the next event, if ever, or will be connected to a conspiracy that will later on be killed or recruited by the MC.

(Even ChatGPT agrees with my points xd)"Dimensional Descent" presents itself as a promising journey through multiple dimensions, but unfortunately falls short of its potential, leaving readers feeling more lost than engaged. Written by an author with ambitious aspirations, this webnovel struggles to deliver a cohesive and satisfying narrative experience. One of the most glaring issues with "Dimensional Descent" is its convoluted world-building. While the concept of multiple dimensions holds immense potential for intrigue and exploration, the execution here feels muddled and disjointed. Rather than immersing readers in a richly detailed tapestry of interconnected realms, the narrative bombardes them with a barrage of poorly explained concepts and inconsistent rules, leaving many scratching their heads in confusion. Moreover, the characters in "Dimensional Descent" fail to inspire much investment or empathy. Despite the author's attempts to imbue them with depth and complexity, they come across as mere archetypes rather than fully fleshed-out individuals. The protagonist's journey feels predictable and uninspired, lacking the emotional resonance needed to truly captivate readers and draw them into the story.Additionally, the pacing of the novel leaves much to be desired. Instead of building tension gradually and allowing for moments of respite, the plot lurches forward in fits and starts, making it difficult for readers to become fully immersed in the unfolding events. As a result, what should be gripping action sequences and climactic revelations often fall flat, failing to elicit the intended emotional response.Furthermore, "Dimensional Descent" suffers from a lack of originality, relying heavily on tired tropes and clichés to drive the narrative forward. From the reluctant hero thrust into a world beyond their comprehension to the predictable betrayals and plot twists, the story feels like a rehash of familiar themes and ideas, offering little in the way of innovation or novelty. In conclusion, "Dimensional Descent" ultimately fails to deliver on its ambitious premise, leaving readers feeling disoriented and disappointed. With its confusing world-building, underdeveloped characters, and lacklustre pacing, it falls short of the mark set by other works in the genre. While it may have its moments of fleeting excitement, they are ultimately overshadowed by its numerous shortcomings.

While it is an enjoyable read for people that love power fantasies, there are a lot of issues with the novel. There is little to no proofreading in the novel at all. There is so many mistakes and misplaced words that you learn to read "what the author PROBABLY meant here". The power system in the world is very complex. While interesting, it's constantly changing and can be hard to keep up with. The characters are average. Most have no personality, and very few characters actually stay around in the novel. The ones that do, you don't hear from them very much I think if the author sorted out these issues, it would be pretty good. As of now, it's something that can pass the time if you don't invest too heavily

I loved this story, I was so excited. It was amazing until chapter 31... I stopped at chapter 31. The author wrote a strange and unnecessary scene in this chapter. I'm still trying to understand why this chapter exists. I knew it was an 18+ story but that scene doesn't make any sense. The author had the potential to create similar scenes in the future when the relationship between the protagonist and her gradually evolved. Unfortunately he ruined everything with a stupid scene. In the end, I loved this novel, the quality of writing is incredible, the world is interesting, the protagonist is intelligent. Unfortunately I lost the desire to read after this disgusting scene.

honestly had quite a promising start but i’d say the drop off in quality is quite substantial. i’ve read the authors other works and they seem to all share the same problem of pacing, power scaling and character development. With my main gripe being the last point, too many times has Leonel reflected onto his past actions and makes a whole spiel about changing but never does and then he just keeps saying “he’s just a kid” as an excuse every single time. The romance itself is an issue, and this comes from a person who loves the genre but the interactions between leonel and fmc are not very interesting with pretty much zero chemistry between them.

Well written, beginning to current. The writing grabbed me right away. The strange beginnings pull you in, and the unrealistic reality makes you want more. while I read other stories, I actively purchase chapters of this book so that I can read it for hours at a time uninterrupted. This story keeps many on their toes. Well made Universe!

What a waste of time, read to 1600 chapters and dropped cause the author writing quality is so illogical. MC is basically "OP" but brain dead at the same time. So many plotholes. The 1600 chapter really ended it for me. This is one of the few novels where I’d rather skim read instead because the author just word vomits a bunch of irrelevant information.

I like this novel I really do, but the more I read, the more it seems like his brothers are just burdens. When will they be able to carry their own weights without him having to save them.

This is a good novel as of chapter 64! The writing is solid, the world background is unique and interesting, and the concept of the system not being a system and dungeons not being dungeons is well executed! One thing I'll say is that it leans very heavily into scientific aspects to explain its magic. While the descriptions mostly make sense, they're very wordy and sometimes require me to put a lot of thought into understanding what would normally be simple actions. That's not bad, it's just not something I'm used to in fantasy.

to the author~Hi! Hello! I just want to say you should not overwork yourself. I know that there is a quota for writers like you but ease up a bit.I want to tell you that your story is great. It's one of the few stories that got me hooked immediately after just one chapter. The composition of your words are astonishing. The way you write, the grammar, the narration of the the story is truly amazing. You can easily tell which is which when when its POVs are switching. Unfortunately, really, I notice that your writing style change a bit - just a little bit - after you gave those bonus chapters. I tried to not mind those changes but it's piling up. I'm sorry I can't help it. The essence of the story, the thrill it gave to the readers is slowly getting less and less. Sure the fighting scenes are awesome, I'll give you that. But the mysterious effect of each word, the trick for each sentences so that it can use the loopholes can be visibly seen by someone like me whose slow to understand what is being implied! That being said the should not be named are getting named! The 'if he just saw this and that' and 'the like this and the this like that'!Plus the chapter is getting shorter compare to first tens of chapters. 😭I'm sorry. As I was saying, you don't have to do those many chapters if your getting stressed and crammed for it. Readers are contented if they get to read to the next chapter and their expectations are met and frustrated if not. That's the life of readers. I bet you already know that. So think about your mental health and how it affect you. I just wish that your writing style get back to how it first been. Thank you Good luck ~

Nevermind, I dropped it again. The story got so good when he finally set his mind towards a goal, but then it got ruined. The whole situation with Aina and Rychard was so stupid and uncalled for. And some people will say “but Aina’s personality got reset” but Idgaf. She still had her memories. Allowing another guy to court her was bs, and it was bad enough, but somewhere along the line it suddenly turned into a situation where they’re about to get married. Rychard was absolutely unnecessary to the story. He got beaten, went home, used a story to have a go at The Linux family which is Leonel’s mother’s family. You’re telling me, that every random person that hears the name ‘Morales’ will immediately know that they’re an extremely powerful family, and look at Leonel a bit warily, however, a guy from a 6th dimensional family somehow had no idea who they were? Really? And he was spreading a story about leonel’s mother having a child with a “nobody” and yet, the people around him couldn’t tell that that “nobody” is from a 7th dimensional family? Let’s agree that the story was kept secret. When they spread the story and mentioned the name ‘Morales’, nobody thought about questioning wether he’s related to the morales family or not? They just went with “haha, she married a nobody and gave birth to a piece of trash.” And how convenient that it wasn’t until Leonel almost killed Rychard that somehow they realized that “oh, he’s a Morales.” For all the good writing that was put into this novel, this arc ruined it for me, big time. Doubt I can continue.

~ 1300 chapter review ~ Currently not caught up yet, but so far I’ve throughly enjoyed the story. The plot itself is interesting. It goes from a sort of sudden apocalyptic setting to something more similar the xianxia-cultivation world, both of which I’ve dabbled in in the past. Despite some inconsistencies here and there, the story still occasionally has me totally engrossed with blood pumping from excitement. The author is good at absteining from cliches, and although it sometimes seems kind of forced, it gives the story a satisfactory douse of originality. The authors writing is constantly evolving throught the story, and approaching ch1000 it suddenly takes a jump, a happy suprise I must say. Still, maybe as a consequence of this, it sometimes seems like the author changes their mind mid story, either discarding previous parts of the story, an example being the first power gauging system, or suddenly adding things that should have been explained previously, like sudden increase in proficiencies of the mc, in this case, just explaining that he had been working on it on the side would be enough. Of course more often than not, these inconsistencies are properly explained and sure they might have been a conscious choice and part of the story, but I still think the story would be elevated without them. The story has several more such inconsistent occurrences, which is the main reason my overall rating decreases a notch. Nevertheless they are easy to overlook and it’s a story I still would recommend to a friend looking for an interesting read.
