I am the author and after writing for more than 400 chaps, I would like to inform that if you are here for a mc who is super smart, smart with relationship, and is practical then this story is not for you; along with slow paced. The MC is dense and slowly develops character, and even if he has lived for 5000 years, he still is a simple guy, who has less EQ. The story is very slow paced, but if you are willing to read it I can tell you that you will definitely feel some change within.

I took my time to finally read it, as I said I would before. Well, take this review with a grain of salt since I'm someone who doesn't like harem stories. Yes, my first issue is with the 'all girls are falling for MC' problem. That truly irritates me, but some people might like it. What about the mc's previous life friends? So far, only five years passed on Earth, right? How come only women keep appearing? Other than you typical villain men, the mc doesn't have a single friend of the same genre. It's all women, women, and more women. Is that even possible? At the very least, that was the case until the chapter I stopped reading. What about his real wife? Like, she is happy he came back... but that is all she feels... It's like she simply doesn't care at all about what happened in the last five years he was gone. It's all 'I'm happy he is back.' 'everything will be fine now that he is back' those are basically the only thoughts in her head. I thought she was supposed to be a much stronger woman after living the challenges of raising a kid five years alone. Suddenly, she became a broken doll out of nowhere. Last but not least, the descriptions. I truly can't emphasize with overly descriptive stories. I don't need to know how beautiful or run-down a place is to its minimal details. All I need to know is that it looks bad or good. Unless the description of a place or things like that is necessary for the story itself, all those detail are completely meaningless. I literally jumped at least 30 to 40% of the paragraphs in the chapters I read because I already knew that it was all a bunch of unnecessary words. I want to read a story, not an architecture project. Give, me, a, story! Of course, there were good points in the story too: Writing quality. It is definitely much better than my own books. Hahaha! I have nothing to complain in this department. Updates are fine too. They are consistent as far as I can see. This is definitely the point of a good author. The story itself had potential, at least when I read the synopsis. It really caught my eye... until the problems I mentioned appeared. PS: This last part is basically a personal taste. It has nothing to do with the author or the story. Anyway, the thing about Chinese names everywhere, including the cultivation world the MC came from. I mean, come on! What are the chances that the guy was Chinese and everyone in his world were all Chinese? The chances are ridiculously low, but that's exactly what happens. Remember, chances wise, that shouldn't be the case at all. As I said, this is just a personal taste. It has nothing to do with the story. If the author wishes that every single stone has a Chinese origin, it is fine.

Excessive name calling and childlike style of narration makes this fix cringe very quickly.

So far I've seen a lot of girls, I like that. but I want to know if it's a real harem, or it's just a fake harem where many girls approach the protagonist and he doesn't accept them, I hate those fake harems. If you're going to grab it, never let it go, once yours it can't be anyone else's. It's fantasy anyway, and you're a powerful man. It doesn't cost anything to fly, you must from time to time since I have a strict wife who doesn't even let me go out to parties without her controlling me. I can only imagine something that is impossible. so tell me how many girls you have in the harem ???? and so far the narrative is good, urban type. I don't even understand why they're complaining, it's as if they were blind and didn't see the harem label.

The synopsis really grabbed my attention. After starting, i can't seem to stop and can't wait to continue reading to see how good this story really is and can be. Beat wishes to the author and I hope he comes off hiatus soon

I do enjoy the story, but some things ruin it for me. Maybe I'm just not your target audience, but I think even side characters should be more than 2D. As I have gotten further along in the story I'm starting to get more disappointed with the direction it is taking.. 1.First off I don't like Harem. some might enjoy it more, but I think it lowers the quality of the story I'm reading as it usually causes me to eventually drop the story. 2. I understand that he came back for his child which i found to be very touching, but you would think after 5000 years he would understand things around him more. 3. I'm at chapter 120 and I'm getting pretty tired of the constant face slapping and lack of world building. I like a good world building and this story with I think a lot of potential is being to sidetracked with cliches....

I read until 50s chapter and in the story just 2 day passed 🥱

I'm just here to comment about how I think that it's stupid that there are multiple negative comments talking about how there is a harem when it's literally one of the novels tags. I also want to say that the novel is great and that you shouldn't be discouraged by negative comments

Bro… I haven’t even read it, but I still know it’s trash just because in every negative review, the author says, ”You haven’t even read 50 chaps.” Idiot.

The plot is pretty good...but from chapters 100+, the continuity of the chapters seemed to be all over the place. Like, in one chapter, stuff happens. then next chapter, suddenly flashback and back again, then next chapter, rewriting the previous 2 chapters turning it into a different kind of scene... Also....there sure seems to be a lot of single moms in this story... Also, every guy is a lecher except for the MC, his grandpa, and some other old men.... Also, the police corruptness is too exaggerated here. Even going so far as to complain when someone is calling them for an emergency or when ignoring it when other people are reporting missing children for weeks... Also, for a supposed powerful immortal in the cultivation world about to reach godhood, he seems a bit...weak? or actually, helpless? I know he's the 'strongest' but he sure doesn't act like it for some reason...I don't mean the arrogantness of the strong but the 'omnipotence' feeling. And he keeps letting off those annoying third-rate antagonists that he meets....at least cripple them or make them fear or alter their memories... That's all for my rant. Unfortunately, I'll have to stop reading it now. Goodluck in your writing

such a cute story~ honestly there's some writing mistakes, but it's an orally pleasant read. the interactions with little qiqi are ways a good thing

While I don't know the update stability, I will give it 5 stars for "Updating Stability". Well as for the story, the author says it's not some "typical" novel but as I read it, this novel is very "typical" for me. Every scene, even if it is some minor ones like beating some thugs, it take 3-4 chapters and not just that, there are so many "cliche" troupe in this novel. The author even says it's not based in China, but mentioned Beijing, there is still so many things thar I want to say but read this novel so all of you should know what I'm writing about. So I'm out, Dropped.

world background seems a bit confusing. I did a mental map and it doesnt really make sense for some places.. especially from town to city and schools...

Very interesting an beautiful idea for the story. The only down side is harem part. Becouse although I'm not against hare. The story of a so dedicated man that he 5000 years tried to return to his family after that getting a harem does not sit well with me. MCs main point is dedication to his Wife and kid so harem is just downgrading his main point.

Ok so here's my review after reading around 200 chapters plus points: 1. Story has a lot of fluff and cute scene and is quite refreshing even after being a cultivation based novel 2. Face slapping moments are not extreme to the point of happening every second chapter and MC is not like other xianxia novels where he would kill every one just for offending him Negative points: 1. The reaction some times do feel over dramatic like every one is just on verge of crying by seeing there cute and loving family that could be toned down a bit 2. It would be better if author could introduce bit more of cultivation elements. I mean i know that this is not the focus of the novel but still i really want to know how powerful mc is, how long will it take to recover, what all are the cultivation levels etc. I mean we just know that mc is immortal and currently at nascent level. But it's better to set a reference like how powerful is nascent level, what all levels are there etc. Well although i wrote some negative points those are not really a deal breaker and more of something that author can think to consider overall it's very enjoyable read.

in 105 chapters, only 3 days have passed in the story, but the amount of amorous suitors only increases exponentially, the story is well written and managed to captivate me so much, but it's too irritating to see the dumb hero saving the maiden after so much.

(1+3+1+3+2)/5=2 The author's trying to put a novel together and mixing troupes from this and other genres. that's alright. and the author tries to be a chill dude who keeps in touch with his work and new comers. so being honestly critical starts to feel a little hard. The editing honestly hurts. for any defenders of this English; alright, we grew up with a completely different version of English. This doesn't match my experience with either American, British, Australian English or any other. I'm slightly confused as the few replies to my comments from the author led to me believing that he/she actually doesn't have a problem with English. side note if anyone is interested in a bit of reality. a woman who deals with stress for any amount of time wilts. The same goes for men. in other words they lose their aesthetic and raw sexual appeal. For a story and a fantasy's sake, i can see and mostly agree that it doesn't matter. I have however seen this so much that I'm now tired of it. stay healthy folks.

i say this is good but i have been seeing this kind of novel alot. plot are the same and this power lost part, this is getting annoying.wtf a powerful cutivator need to face lightning tribu for returning to his home planet or realm.and i know there is going to be a lot of face slaping, mc can't stay with his family a day peacefully.and don't you think as a former powerful cultivator even if he lost his power his body should be powerful enough to smash the earth right?

The plots are what you would expect from this kind of genre. While it is not bad, the story needs a proper proofreader/editor. Not only that but sometimes there is just too much detail in each sentence reducing the quality of the story. For now, I can't recommend others to read it.

Perspective reader here. Can someone answer a quick question for me? I've read the synopsis and it sounded great. But then I saw the Harem tag which seemed very out of place in a story about a man who grew to become a god and threw it away to return to his family. Can anyone tell me the extent of the harem, its influence over the story, and how well the author has been able to weave it into the story without compromising their characters? Thanks in advance.
