im so upset for wasting my time reading this novel, it's not bad just that the plot is slow and the mc just thinks like a homicidal maniac
from the beginning to the middle, this story only focuses on mc's activities in his sect with all the repeated stories in it, sorry its 1 star for me โญ

It's great. I especially liked the first arc. I feel the mc took too much risks even him admit it. He is supposed to be from modern earth but he is unable to make any compromise, never use any subtlety. The plot armor is too obvious sometimes. About the system it seems to give the skills the mc needs, it's clearly not random, and it's not limited to passive skills, I mean a skill that has a cooldown and/or can be use to attack is not really a passive.

Was a good read until mc gets raped and blackmailed. He doesn't even get mad, he just agrees to all her demands.... Maybe author has an issue?

Aint nothing passive about this mf. Any opportunity the MC has to get out of trouble and take advantage of his super OP cheat, for NO REASON WHATSOVER, he jumps back into trouble. He is a completely solo individual, no family, no friends, no master, no sect loyalty, and suffered constant abuse due to weakness, but the author blatantly forces him into trouble without providing reasoning. Im talking about no threats, no hidden dangers, no scary old men lurking behind the scenes, nothing...he gets the opportunity to hide away and stack up his cheat until hes invincible but decides on nah, i wanna send it.

The book was alright. the only problem is about how the mechanics of his system being from having tiers to just ignoring them. And then the romance genre and harem, you should have added that in. It was a terrible surprise

author really said here's a gem, now get out, the late update is getting on my nerves but we will leave it at that.
the novel starts with a interesting (actually no its transmigration.. again), anyways our mc has a system...(bot very exciting?? well he can draw skills..)
now enough with the fun, the novel takes place in a demonic sect where our main character is transmigratted a few days back, he has a passive system which allows him to draw passive skills(some are active skills to).
I don't wanna talk to much about the strong thereafter, cuz just the cultivation system is a spoiler (gu, well good for ri fans), though gu is not considered the orthodox path, but what do you expect from a demonic sect...
our main character(an orphan) is in the sect trials to get in the outer sect, or he will become nourishment for the other disciples.
now let's get to the main point, the sect is actually very crewl in its ways to teach disciples where they let them fight and kill each other, (using each other as wetstones)
our mc here is not a no-brainer and but also not a sage, he has a ruthless personality and isn't some young master.
with his passive skills he walks forward crushing his enemies and creating mountain of corpses to reach immortality.
I give it a 9/10.
the writing is good and explains everything very well, but it does has some plot holes in the early chapters, mc has an interesting personality and he has character development in the later stages...
a very well written novel who's author identity I have no idea of...
do try it as it's a must read,(especially for ri fans)

The start can be considered anove avarage, for those who cant stand bad executions. This book is like a rolecoaster, making you bored but also eventually making you satisfied. I would recomend a read.

I had recently reviewed and praised the novel, about how good it is. But when I read chapter no 540 enlightened I was shocked and disappointed. Everything that made Mc who he is, whole story was completely and forcedly changed. It become same other countless trash. I was really hopefull that I found a good novel but alas.

Overal its good. Unlike other cultivation novels there is a deep setting involved in it although a system is involved. There are very few which have great engaging stories such as this with the same setting. But there are certain ways that the story could have progressed better. But I am not complaining.

Story just contradicts itself every other paragraph,
one chapter his control has increased . next chapter his control has fallen
one chapter his Qi is pure . next chapter it's muddy .
one chapter he wants to do X . next chapter doing X is just out of the question .
one chapter he gets an inheritance . next chapter it's too bothersome to actually read it .

One of the best eastern fantasy novels I have ever read and the fact it isnโt rated higher than a 4.1 is baffling. The details are amazing, the world building fantastic, and it is an original take on a cultivation civilization and how it would progress.

I'm giving up on this story improving in the late 400s (476 I think) and I'll say with a bit of bitterness that the sunk cost kept me reading much longer than curiosity or continued interest.
The passive system in the earlier chapters is, while not original, it was not overpowered. There was potential for the system to develop and at points the system was expanded upon but at several turns those developments were abandoned entirely. By later chapters, drawing is arbitrary- there are detailed chapters of MC analyzing their current build, pointing out where the system has yet to completely break with the world building only for the system to give a handout at that exact moment...
By then the MC is already jumping realms and tanking would-be threats so the introduction of more passive skills at that point is just padding and fluff.
A number of story threads get abandoned early that, in my personal opinion, would have been more entertaining to read than a repeat of new city where everyone is stronger and geniuses scoff at MCs powerlevel.
MC character development is something like going from just trying to survive, to planning to live long enough for the system to produce hundreds of skills, to a sense of self-awareness that their situation is constant danger and death is real possibility (if you allow a suspension of disbelief) and then finally having a ridiculous extra life and throwing caution to the wind.
Highly disappointed in a work of fiction that shows a bit of self-awareness regarding common tropes in this sort of cultivation-based world building but still follows the template/formula and lets whatever originality it had at the start completely collapse on itself.

If you like Nano Mashin or cruel MC, this novel will suit your taste. At the beginning, the concept of tri gu sect is really bad and confusing enough but after the MC got more passive skills and starts his adventure, the story becomes more interesting to read. \

a good novel until the mc is raped in 479 by a woman he helped get rid of a curse because she could blackmail him with his secret. however, the mc could have ordered her not to betray him through the curse. besides, he's killed for less. just disappointed I would like to give 0 stars or - stars.
