Chapter 167: Sinister Plot

Zell and Obsi left the arena as the people in the stands regained consciousness. They had no memory of ever dying or seeing the devil. They all just stared at the empty ring wondering what had transpired. To them one second, they were watching the Obsi fight and the next they were looking at nothing.

Having watched the events transpire, the chairman resurrected his son and the manager in his office. "You let your guard down." The chairman said. "I told you not to mess with that god and yet you did. That god is the champion of the fox of life. You are so far beneath him that to call you an ant would be an insult to ants. Next time I tell you to do something, do it. I will not reconstitute your soul again."

"But father, surely you can do something about him!" Adventus said. "Your strength rivals the creator gods. Surely you can defeat someone such as him."
