"I shouldn't have expected anything else from a lower life form such as yourself." Shade continued. "I would ask that you abandon your quest. You seek to destroy the very thing that enables your existence. In trying to save everyone you will only be dooming them.

Live your life and enjoy it. It is not your place to worry about the fate of all life, nor is it your responsibility."

"I still will find a way to save everything." Zell replied. "Anything else would just be unacceptable."

"Your determination is admirable." Shade replied. "But pointless. When the elemental of life comes for your multiverse to feed, there is nothing you can do. Just take solace in the fact that within some multiverse somewhere there is another version of you living their best life… and their worst life… multiverses are like that.
