Good. MC ain't a simp. A virgin even at the end of the novel. It started bland but became better and better. If you don't have anything else to read, you can give this a go.
It’s short and relatively fun. It’s a lowkey main character novel. Most of the plot revolves around him manipulating events while he stays hidden. The worldbuilding is decent until the tail of the novel where it gets a bit convoluted. Suffers from a large cast. Characters get forgotten. They all tend to be one dimensional. Jokes tend to get recycled a bit too much after being overused. The cultivation system makes less sense as time goes on in my opinion but it doesn’t hurt the reading. A bit generic but worth a read.
Here me after reading the novel, writing my personal review, to me this novel was worth reading. There were things which made me little dissatisfied but overall it was very good. 👍
I think the cultivation line that this story adopted is interesting, it surpasses many high-level novels in some parts (like creating worlds inside your body, this should be obvious in all novels in my opinion) Those who read this type of story are generally looking for exaltation of strength, pastime and others, there is a little demonstration of strength in this story but it is one of those that has the least, honestly At times I just wanted to skip chapters too, I don't think it's really a read to pass the time, but it was fun at times
So I manage to get to ch 240 and here's my thoughts ........So this story is about a guy who just sits at home (usually in just one chair) for years because his system gives him better and better rewards the longer he stays in one place. The problems with that is the MC never takes action unless people literally comes to his door, every other time he's recruiting disciples so that when they do something cool out in the world, the system rewards him because he's their master. Another problem is that in like 11 disciples only 2 are female, the 1st and 11th ones. Like it would actually been a pretty good story if since he can't leave home,he could've just got a wife or 2 , had some kids and raised them up, in that case the MC could've been one of the very few to actually see his kids everyday while they were young.

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews here but I like this kind of plot. I enjoyed the journey of the MC just being chill but in full control of power. I love that I didn't get bored reading this so thank you author. I just wish it was longer so the ending wouldn't feel rushed with little details. It could've been better with more elaborated but still it's good for me.

Spoiler free review The title and summary both are on point. Chu Xuan (MC) transmigrates and receives a sign in type system, which rewards him the more he stays shut in. The only time he truly leaves is when he was absolutely Invincible. Worldbuilding, As always with Xianxia, a very very big world. Also the usual there is a bigger world out there also happened several times. Although since MC is a shut in, we don't see many places from his perspective. So, not much in case of unique and memorable locations. MC and Side Characters, Great. MC is Ok. He is fun but uninteresting at the same time, everything he has comes from the System. Although it is shown that he cultivates as well, but without the system that would be meaningless. The side character leads the show here. Lots of awesome side characters in this, especially the desciples. Cultivation System, Very generic. Although all Cultivation levels are explained in detailed with amazing descriptions of their own. But, in an actual fight it all comes down to stronger Cultivation guy is stronger in every way. I like Cultivation system, where higher level are more then just an increase in strength. This novel shows that sometimes, like with the Emperor realm, but then it goes back to being generic. About the Plot and Ending, There is no overarching plot. Although we have a final boss at the end, even he only comes in the last 100 chapters. Other than that, it's MC becoming stronger, his Desciples revenge and them becoming stronger, and other people reacting to changes MC brings to the world. The ending however is quite rushed and lame, but I don't think there was another way to end it. MC was too strong at the end, dragging it will only make it worse. In summary, A good light hearted novel of a fun MC and OP System. You should try it if you are looking for a casual read.
I started reading it because I was bored but gradually I got invested in the story The MC's background ,the twists and his cute grandfather and "wife" su xian'er Everything about this story is great Really recommend to read it[img=recommend][img=recommend]
This may not seem to be everyone's cup of tea but as someone who enjoyed top tier providence and prefers laid back cultivation story this was truly a fantastic journey. sad it ended so soon for me. Anyway if you've read top tier providence and looking for similar novels then this one is more or less everything you seek.
huh best novel ever for a homebodies and lazy and just like to relax and chillax, I would read it again tho one unique book and a unique mastermind perspective because it completely imersify into fantasy because you don't a endless battle to grow in a new world with slaughter, despair sorrow and regrets
Hi.....my fellow daoist , after completing this I would like to write some experience of mine in reading this novel. Grammer is 4/5 Story is 5/5 World background 5/5 I believe lot of u be thinking that's my ratings r bullcarp because it is a 3.7 star rated novel in webnove, but belive me there r some boring part but if u have patience n crossed tht section, there awaits a really beautiful n engaging story. As some of reviewers has wrote tht mc conceals his strength without any reason, it's not ture , the actual reason y he conceals his strength is because by conceal his strength n only using schemes gives him more reward from his system. It's really good try it with patience 😌
Ending felt pretty rushed but overall enjoyed the novel. Some issues with TL where a character would be referred to as the wrong gender. No romance for the MC. If you go in hoping or expecting or getting edged for romance it doesn’t happen.
Reveal SpoilerPeople might say it's just another copy but it's not. The concept is a little similar to other sign in novels as it's the same genre but it's story development is better than others. Although it gets a little bit repetitive sometime but if you take a break and start again it becomes enjoyable again. It has some uniqueness to itself which i won't say to keep you from spoilers. Overall it's good laid-back sign in novel with its own twist which is better than other sign in novels.
Well as one of the few book about cultivation that I like, it will be my bias to put 5 star in this. Well if you like about some scheme and deeper scheme, with system and passive protagonist, then you will like it. Well to be honest, this was one of better book in this app, so do try reading it 😊
I haven't found any errors written. The story has good pacing and is not monotonous. The characters are well developed. It's complete by this review but maintained a stable update keeping the readers engaged. The World Background was deep, complex, and intriguing. This Is An Above and beyond novel.
Boring but not brain rot. Things happen for the MC to profit usually. Haven't read the whole thing but it's too boring. Almost feels like a change log instead of a story, probably because of the way it is written. I've seen a comparison with top tier providence, but top tier providence doesn't feel like a changelog as much. Also it's not as boring...
With this, its now the 3rd book ive read all the way through (although theres several im almost done with but just havent gotten around to finishing up the final arc of) but regardless, its enough to show I liked it, quite a lot. The humor is, personally speaking, top notch. there were a lot of parts that had me laughing uncontrollably for a while (like literally everytime qin ying was mentioned). the ending, the last 200~ chapters, ended up not being as humorous, felt like the author was trying to push those final chapters out as fast as he could, and thats fine, but it does detract from it, and made my evaluation of the book a little worse, but all in all still very good read. the translation is mostly perfect, some parts are wrong here and there though so beware. it isnt enough to ruin immersion though, in my opinion. the only big issue is the classic pronoun translations being weird from Chinese to english. character wise, there was a healthy mix of unique characters and more classic steroetypical ones. like the little sister or eldest senior brother characters, which are quite common, vs. qin ying or hei yue, both of whom were quite unique in both background and dynamic, at least I thought so. is it up there with the greats like reverend insanity? definitely not. but is it bad? i wouldnt say so. it was worth the read, certainly. also, i have to mention, the comic/manhua adaptation did it so dirty with how badly drawn and translated it is, like ugh. i hate it. dont read the manhua, stick to the novel.
