this has the same problem as every other story with a similar premise. generic, confusing world due to translation, mc that supposedly knows thousands of technique yet never uses more than 10, supposed immortals not acting like immortals and sometimes even like children, etc.

It’s unfinished so I don’t recommend it. Characters get forgotten so the main character can power up without being slowed down. The world is not very interesting. Upper realms are just a way to make a world seem like it has scale and depth. But in reality it’s a series of locations without relation that the main character visits to get a power up. The plotline with a higher realm suppressing a lower realm gets used twice as well. Overall a mediocre experience.
it's overall good novel just having update issue as our author is playing with the hearts of its reader's 😅😂
as someone who likes to escape reality into book worlds, this was a masterpiece

It is a good read, although it gets boring sometimes it is still good enough. The MC character is a bit inconsistent. Power levels are sometimes messy and get confusing but is is a small detail most won't notice. The translation gets a bit wacky in later chapters so that is a minus. The main thing is that it is DROPPED. I read the raw and its status shows dropped just a few more chapters and it will end. Although given Webnovels obsession win Splitting chapters it will end in maybe in few months. Overall good read. 4 stars.
The concept was good, but after reading around 4 chapters, I dropped it due to the poor translation quality and the weird concepts that were given either very little explanation or no explanation at all. Also, the story has some inconsistencies in it, which in the mere 4 chapters that I read, made it practically unreadable due to the constant annoyance that the story made me feel.
this cultivation novel is by far the best ive ever read in a while. Unlike any other cultivation novel, mc just cultivate everyday without searching for a fight wherever he goes for. So I will highly recommend you guys to read this !! Also I'm hoping to see some romance in there cuz as far as I'm currently reading right now, I have yet to see any of it.

The MC transmigrated into a former genius who was crippled and sent into prison to clean up the sect’s tomb area as punishment and finds his golden finger is maxed level comprehension skill or the author called it "max-level learning ability" in his novel title.. Well, even though MC can get "maxed level comprehension skill" in any technique, it doesn't mean that MC gets max level skills.. MC is just "comprehend" it.. For example, if you look at a coding book with 10 volumes and you get MC power, you immediately understand and memorise from A to Z/comprehend fully all 10 volumes.. But can you use it? No, because you need to write it on the computer to start the coding before using it.. It is the same situation as MC. Even though he fully comprehends the technique, he can't use it right away due to unique reasons like his soul still weak or his body cannot transform into bird unless he transforms some of his bone in a certain way.. Some stronger techniques will take him a long time to cultivate it into max power (take many years). So, MC hides from the world in his "prison" and learns powerful techniques from the tombs, unbeknown to the rest of the world.. Well, the author let the MC live peacefully in his prison.. If I am the author or MC, I will spend my time "looking" for strong techniques and focus on cultivating it.. MC basically has no limitations by how much he can comprehend the technique.. So MC can just look for strong technique.. There are millions of stele/technique can be learned, but MC is ONLY comprehend ONE TECHNIQUE per day.. And that one technique is not strong.. He sometimes spends his time on weak new techniques. MC does not even make an effort to look for strong technique within millions of stele.. Even after 20 years in prison, he let it slow and steady.. So, I stopped reading it.. MC grow speed? Fast.. At ch31, MC is already in the highest realm that could exist at that time.. Love story, romance? For MC, don't exist yet.. OP MC from the beginning? Well, MC barely had any conflict.. As I said before, MC lives peacefully.. After he reaches the highest realm, MC no longer hides, and MC is overwhelming all other cultivators.. MTL? I only read until ch76.. Until then, this novel has been translated in perfect ways.. I'm not sure after that ch77 and above.. MC characteristic? Merciless.. Not hardworking person.. More to passive type instead aggressive type.. His motto is like, "I only take action if you want hurt my close people in sect." If outside the sect, MC like "nah."

nothing new, all the characters are hopeless and all of them are dumb, the Sect Leader is a Selfish and Scared cat, the Sister who visits him every month is freaking annoying then they're a pet..... hays......... don't waste your time reading this

It’s nothing special: the MC transmigrates into the body of a former genius who was crippled and sent into seclusion to guard the sect’s tomb area as punishment, and finds his golden finger is maximum level comprehension. So, he hides away and learns powerful techniques from the tombs, unbeknownst to the rest of the sect. Eventually he saves the sect in secret, blah blah. Very generic, but the writing is good enough to pass time. Unfortunately, around chapter 45 the translation becomes low quality and either the translators skip entire important scenes or the author does. Either way, chapters 45 and 46 are both terrible, so you know that the WebNovel effect has struck (passable initial translations, then terrible MTL once you they think you’re hooked so they can save their efforts to go hook people on other novels, and finish the translation of this one using MTL), and it’s not worth reading past that point.
this is a very nice narrative. the characters are well designed and what I like the most the MC is overpowered with him growing from weak and a cripple to the most powerful being within the current restraints. I hope that this novel soon starts updating more chapters as I am very curious about the future plot of the story, on how the MC will break the shackles and his future cultivation journey to the top. I also wish that the author would add more about the techniques and help us create a more mystifying image of the techniques and the way of cultivation like with a boom he broke through or how he broke through including the changes in his sea of qi. the author just told us that he broke through but i cannot s s the power gap Or any difference due to his increase in cultivation. thank you author for sharing this narrative

This story has me hooked! An overpowered MC who has found solace in his bitter predicament! The characters are well written and they have room to be main characters themselves! It is like a slice of life but with action no over the top drama!

this is the 4th time I've seen this story idea with almost the exact flow appear. each time it's dropped. hopefully it survives this time
This is one of the better novels in a long time. excellent trnslation and an interesting well paced story.
so far the writing is good and world background was kept in mystery as complete details were not shown, but the structure around it was well built and layered by later the details are showing. MC walks on the path of OPness from ground and has a good mentality so far.
pretty intresting story read all 20 trial chapters and i like it the mc aint a mindless braggart or a coward he's a cautious person in a way that truly knows how to lay low no1 knows that he's suuuper strong at all he doesn't "accidentally" reveal his strength to any1 yjr few ppl he killed so far has just gone poof and vanished w/o a trace :) and for yu who wonder no it aint a harem at least not yet any way :)
Full of cliche, dumb sect leader, annoying little sister and future pet.... It's the type of novel where the mc always do the same thing( here sipping tea and instantly learning techniques) The idea is good but the novel is average.

Nothing all that unique in terms of plot, tropes, schemes, and so on, but the story flow and ability to keep things interesting is the best I've seen from this type of novel (comprehending everything instantly)
